Mission Family Aquatic Center

We live across the street from this place so we go often in the summer. Its a great pool. The kids who work there are so nice to my son. Its never too crowded and there are plenty of options for all ages of kid or adult. They also offer free Friday nights I think once a month. Its great for the community. We love it.

Fun toddler time with my granddaughter

Great place for kid’s and small children. Seemed well staffed, the facility was clean and well cared for, and I appreciated there were some shady areas too. I read on Kansas City’s 435 magazine that this pool had an adults only section that I was looking forward to for some quiet, but that didn’t seem to exist.

Pool gets stars only because its relatively clean. Im leaving this review because of the lifeguards. I didnt converse with any of them, its all more an observation. Me, having been a lifeguard before for 8 years, I was appalled at how little they actually DID their job. One girl in particular who Ive been watching the entire time has been more focused on doing her hair and cleaning her glasses. At one point she was on the stand nearest the diving board. A little girl fell from the steps and scarped her arm. The girl screaming bloody murder, had her father run over to tend to her. The lifeguard at least blew the whistle at the father for running, Ill give her that much, not once did the guard notice the little girl.I dont like leaving reviews like this, and I get that most of these lifeguards are kids. But all the training, and instances Ive been apart of, its important to do this job right.

Its a decent pool, friendly staff. Think they need more shade for the pools but a good place for kids!

This pool is ADA accessible and the staff is courteous and helpful. They have provided nothing less than exceptional service at every opportunity to my friends and family. Thank you Mission Family Aquatic Center for all that you do for your community.

Very kid friendly usually not over crowded and right next door to police station so extra sense of security

Very upset, I couldnt even get a refund & I didnt even get in the pool because it was so crowded.. Because if we give you a refund it will start a habit. All the kids are piled on one end because the other end is for diving boards.. Will NOT be coming back.

Staff is great. Try out the green slide to feel some g-forces. ONE THING BAD is that the 13 foot swimming section can be reserved for 1 adult, even when there is 20 kids swimming in it. I called that dude a nasty black mold filled dirtbag. DESROY MY CHILDHOOD# DESTROY MY CHILDHOOD

I have 4 kids, varying in ages, and theres something for all of them here.

Great place for adults to tan and float as well as great family fun for the kids!!

I wish my family could go here but they will not allow my vision impaired daughter use the equipment. They also made it clear that if she needed any accommodations (which she doesnt) they would be unwilling to provide. This facility is NOT ADA accessable. If your child needs/wears glasses they are not welcome here. We will be taking our business to either Overland Park or Prairie Village pools, where ALL children are welcome.

Great pool! On the smaller side, compared to other cities but because of this, its not super crowded. Perfect for smaller children.

Lots of fun activities for everyone. Slides, playground, splash pad, diving boards, and basketball. Staff is friendly and will to help with any questions or issues!

For the most part staff was nice and friendly but I dive and do flips and your not allowed to dive or do flips I was outraged
