Pick up a recent newspaper(50 year old rolling stone)i had framed and they did a other great job(thank you very much tomoko).,it was handle with care and looks great,and drop off a other poster to be frame because I know they would do a great job,very courteous and profession,and reasonable prices with discounts to be had,thumbs up!!!!

My mom, sister, and I went to this Michaels to get some pictures framed. While looking, I got an employee to help me find the correct size. After 2 minutes she told me she had to help another customer. Instead of helping another customer, she was just talking to another employee. We then decided to get our pictures costumed framed. The employee at the framing counter was very unclear on prices, not helpful at all, and kept saying she had to go to lunch. We were going to spend about a $1,000 on frames, so we were going to take a bit of time to pick our frames. We told her she could go to lunch and that we will be here when she gets back. After about 20 minutes of looking and matching colors and styles to pictures (and no help help from the employee) a guy comes in to get some of his own pictures framed. The employee then tells me and my family that due to social distancing we had to leave. My family and I took our pictures and left. On the way out we stopped to tell a manger what happened. The manager just had a blank expression on his face and gave some terrible excuse for his employees behavior . I dont think I have ever seen such poor customer service before. I will never go back there again.

I could spend forever in Michaels as it is, but this Michaels is always super organized and has a super friendly staff.

I visited Michael’s the other day, and while the products and service are always top-notch, one of the managers, Laura, publicly berated and belittled one of the teenage employees. It was awkward to listen to, and I felt bad for the employee to be treated so disrespectfully. She was clearly upset. I felt uncomfortable being there, and I feel that this manager does not represent the values and standards of Michael’s stores.

As soon as I came in there was a guy that helped me out to find what I was looking for without wandering in the store.

They have really helpful associates. The store is huge and is always clean and well stocked.

This Michaels location is so nice! I was bummed when I saw the other Mission Viejo location had closed, it was easier to get into, but Im glad this one is here. Its super bright and clean, very inviting. Its a large store with plenty of space to move around and not be crowded. They also have almost anything youd ever need for crafting at decent prices, and they always have sales or coupons available so take advantage!

Sometimes a bit overwhelming, but for craft-ish items, they have everything!

I love this new Michaels! They have great people working here. The size and selection is reduced though compared to some other bigger Michaels stores, but it still has your major things. They have cool classes. Ive been to about a dozen and Im hooked!

Dont forget to bring a coupon. Never a reason to pay full price when there are coupons online and they can just scan your phone. Lots of options for any of your crafting needs.

This Michaels is in a former SportMart, and therefore in a much bigger box than most Michaels stores. It is essentially an extreme remodel of a nearby store it replaced. in It has a lot of selection and is laid out in a nice manner. Compared to others in the chain I visited, this one is the best.

This is an amazing place for ...everyone... everyone as in everyone, whether or not one is an artist or not. Too good.

First time here, and it is clean and well organized. They have a good variety of all things for arts and crafts.

This Michaels is better than the Aliso one in my opinion. More cleaned up and spacious. Find what I need here. They have a large selection of The Happy Calendar and accessories.

It has everything I needed

It would be great if just one or two of the staff ever did a craft in thier 17 years on earth. This leads me to assume the staff is paid poorly. The service is not familiar with anything except POSSIBLY the lication of said item. Anything beyond THAT, you need to investigate online prior to or on site. I could be on FIRE in any aisle and not be found for hours.

They had everything I needed for a DIY project I was doing. Sales staff super helpful leading me right to acrylic spray paint, mason jars and corks.

This review is in reference to check-out: there is no point in ordering in advance online just to wait in a long checkout line to pick up items.

I spent about 15 minutes inside the store.Pros:Clean environment - The aisles were clean and the items were in their places. It didn’t look like a bunch of moms showed up with their kids to wreck the place. Then again it was just noon.Variety - They had everything I expected them to have plus some items I hadn’t seen before. Mainly, I was there to see what the sketching/painting section looked like and had to offer. The usual selection of items was present such as fine and broad-tipped markers, paint markers, oil-based markers, acrylics, etc.Cons:At the time that I walked into the store, I was given a rude and creepy look by a staff member. I walked in and noticed him standing to my left behind some items supervising the floor I think. I managed to catch him looking at me in a rude manner while he said something but I couldn’t hear him so I took off a headphone and asked what he had said. He repeated that he had said “hello” and how “I was doing”.I responded politely and even asked about supplies for etching glass but I was told that the supplies were illegal in California and that they did not carry them. I said “thank you” and continued inside.As I made my way around looking for the paints section, I noticed this particular guy following me around. He was white, chunky, shorter than me at about 5’6 blue eyes and scrappy looking. I felt a bit uncomfortable but I figured that maybe he was just doing his job and I may be overthinking things.I finally found the paint section to the right side in the back of the store. As I was browsing and checking out the new items, old nostalgic ones, and still looking for that etch cream that I suspected they still carried, I saw him still around me trying not to stare too hard. Everywhere I went I looked and sure enough, he was close behind. At this point, I became annoyed.I looked around, found the etching cream and felt it was too expensive considering I was babysat, disrespected, and the bottle cost $32.00 on top of it all.I left the store and looked on Amazon and found the exact same bottle for $17.00 pretty much immediately.Conclusion:I’m not a big fan of Michael’s. The quality of the items inside is good but honestly, Amazon and online competitors have the very same thing for much much cheaper. Regardless, I had every intention of buying the etching cream because it’s a gift for a friend that etches projects and I will be seeing him today but the experience itself completely made it all too expensive to be worth it. I won’t be coming back. Customer service does matter.

New store, a little slow at the check out. A little advice to store management... Dont stand behind the counter chatting with three other employees while there is a line of 20 people with full baskets and only two (2) clerks manning the registers, roll you sleeves up and move the line.
