This place is absolutely breath taking. It has been 8 years since Ive taken the time for me just to get away n decompress. And, I couldnt have picked a better spot. The friendliest staff in the world! A jacuzzi that completely relaxed me. One of the cleanest indoor pools Ive ever seen. The nicest court yard. With just the right amount of activities to indulge in. I like the little putt putt set up. But, what really did it for me was the fire pit. After going for a swim and being a little chilly it was just the thing to cozy up to. Superman comfortable bed. Even the serine peace and quiet. I originally set out for just a two night stay. But by the end of the second night. I just had to book one more. And Im so glad I did. Ill be very sad to leave tomorrow. But, I most definitely will be taking me time more often. And I will be doing it here. Thank you for helping me relax.

I grew up in Mishawaka and so I always have a place to stay but I decided to stay here while Im in town and Im glad I did! Very nice, clean, spacious rooms. Breakfast was great too!

Nice hotel for the price, except the deposit is the most expensive Ive ever had to pay to stay at a hotel. The rooms are basically like a small one bedroom apartment. Could use a little updating but overall it was a decent place.

I didnt actually stay at the varsity clubs of America Hotel I was stopping by to drop off some food to a beautiful receptionist I ended up using the restroom and getting some water it was really good water in a very clean restroom so very good impression two big thumbs up five stars

Got the suite with the balcony. If you or any of your guess are smokers, this is very convenient. Rooms were spacious with a nice layout.

Fantastic value, really surprised everything we got for the price. Room was large with a large living area. Loved the full coffee machine with coffee provided. Balcony was nice in the morning. The breakfast is pretty basic but included for free in our rate. Maybe it works for some but Keurig only coffee seems odd to me and it was splashing bits of coffee everywhere. Amenities were good, the gym is admittedly lacking in free weight selection vs other hotel gyms (cheap fix!) and plenty of places to hang out during the day. Huge projector screen/speakers, presumably active for all major sports events and of course varsity games.

This was the best hotel I ever had the pleasure of staying at. The continental breakfast was amazing. The bed, room and bathroom were first rate. How this is a 3 star hotel amazes me. If Im ever near there I will be staying there!!

The overall feel of the hotel is decent. The room was clean and nice, and I really like how the hot tub was separated from the pool area. I will say that I was very turned off by their resort fee charge. That alone makes me not want to return. When you book a room through one of the online sites, you dont expect to be charged an additional fee to use their pool, and other amenities that should be included in the total fee. I have been to a ton of hotels and I have never had to pay the extra fee.

Place was clean, hence the first star, & the overnight staff were very friendly & helpful, hence the second 1, but thats about it.The staff in the morning were rude, the pantry/convenience store was basically empty, the shower stream was really slow, rooms feel kinda outdated, lighting is very depressing, no single serve coffee in the rooms, nor creamer..

The staff was very polite and helpful, they even arranged for a late check out for me at the last minute when my plans changed. The rooms are very comfortable and well taken care of and cleaned. The fitness center is well rounded with something for everyone. I didnt hear any noise from the hall or neighboring rooms and the beds are quite comfortable allowing for great sleep. I will definitely stay here again.

We loved the room, the pool, the games, the workout room, the hot tub, the breakfast and the staff! Everyone was friendly and happy to answer any questions. I would love to return to this property..

Negative: The only bad thing that my family has to say about our stay was that other people that stayed there as a guest there would only be 2 of them and they would let 4-6 people that werenâ€t staying there in to use the pool and run off the other guests.

Studio room was horrible. Bed is more like a Full. And one edge was broken in to the point that it just rolled you into the middle making matters worse.

Been coming to the Varsity for two years on and off. It’s a really nice hotel with a pretty good breakfast.However, my last stay will be my last.We started the stay out great! We booked the two bedroom suite—we had four adults and three kids. Plenty of room. Two days into our stay we were downgraded to a basic one bedroom suite. Insane to have that many people in a room. The front desk workers all had different stories on why we had to leave our room—one even told us we could’ve stay in it and not sure why we were booted.My guess is they wanted to charge an astronomical price for it for the weekend (we had a low rate, they didn’t want to honor it)The manager didn’t solve any of the issues for us. Will not be returning and will be writing this review on all sites.

Positive: We had a nice suite with a clean, comfortable bed and cold air conditioning which was great! The included hot breakfast buffet was wonderful! No extra charge for parking. Non-smoking and pet free rooms were great for our allergies. Negative: There was a $9.95 resort fee added and paperwork had to be signed agreeing that you will be charged a $100.00 deposit that may take up to 4 weeks to be refunded. This was not disclosed when we reserved the room.

Check-in person was great. Layout of room is nice. Room was overheated at first, but we were able to correct that.

Phenomenal. Great staff, clean and felt right at home when I walked in. Great courtyard area with putting green, boche ball court, grills, pool hot tub, and a pool table. Also, the Notre Dame memorabilia flooded me wistfully.

Wasnt the room we were expecting from our online reservation.and the 25 screaming kids at the pool didnt help especially when there was supposed to be a limit of 15. But the staff was really nice.

The best hotel i have stayed at!

It was ok was told I had to wear a mask when we checked in yet not one other patron was wearing one. The travel site I made my reservations with made it seem like I was getting a condo style room when I arrived and checked-in it was not a condo-style room it was a single room. But it was the only hotel with an open pool in the area so we didnt mind too much. Way too expensive considering the size of room and lack of amenities.

We had a great experience here. Clean room with a comfortable pull-out bed, kitchenette, and nice amenities like two pools and several social areas. Quiet time starts at 11, and the rowdy folks outside my window respected that. The breakfast wasnt anything special but it was adequate for our needs.

Loved it! I will be on the lookout for these Clubs from now on. Great stay for the money. Loved the layout of the room. It was like, apartment style. Lots to do. Two pools, hot tub, exercise room, billard room, and outdoor firepit. We will be staying here again, the next time, we are in town. It had an onsite laundry room and the free breakfast was hot and fresh. Beds were comfortable.

They have everything you could want! Friendly front desk personnel especially Tammy, spacious very clean suites, workout room, jacuzzi, pool, nice ambiance by the fire pits, grills...and a full breakfast is included! If you know for certain you will not cancel your reservations I would book online and get one of the nonrefundable reservations for much cheaper. Cant beat the price less than $100 per night!!!

Accommodations were clean and comfortable. The staff were polite, professional, and attentive. The breakfast was great! I didnt use the pool, but several other guests seemed to really enjoy it! Laundry facilities were adequate and quite clean.

I did not like that the hotel claimed they had no rooms but it seemed there were at least a few unoccupied rooms. We registered online for a room for Varsity Clubs of America and there were rooms available through different agencies but not at the hotel. The staff did not point me in another direction for a nice hotel near by which was upsetting.

One of the best managed hotels I have ever been a guest at. The facility is clean, well staffed, and has an excellent pool & hot tub along with a really cool courtyard. Oh and the biggest bath tub ever in our room and that is super cool for tall people like me! Staff is super friendly and accommodating! Way to go team!!! :)

I am giving ONE star based solely on the front desk staff. I hesitated to rate so low because the facility itself is quite nice, but the staff were so awful that it definitely impacted the stay. We travel a lot, easily staying in 40+ hotels a year in various states. NEVER have I been spoken to in such a rude and condescending way. Tammy, who I assume was the front desk manager, was the worst at this. I know this hotel is affiliated with Hilton Honors, of which we are members, and I highly doubt they would approve of the way she, and other staff, speak to guests. Outside of the condescending tone and lack of respect, they arent welcoming at all. I walked through the lobby 4-5 times each morning and never did anyone smile or offer a greeting. The food was mediocre at best and they charge for it. We were offered waivers for breakfast as part of the agreement we made when booking, but I feel for guests that are expected to pay for that. At another point in our stay I asked if I could receive change for a larger bill, and the staff said we arent giving change at this time which is par for the course with how they speak to guests. There was no We are sorry, but... or I apologize but I am unable to help at this time. Just a we arent giving change at this time. Its basic customer service to speak with kindness and at least ATTEMPT to be accommodating and helpful when the position you hold is a customer service position. I said I would be willing to purchase something from their small store attached to the front desk (snacks, small incidentals, etc) and she told me no. At this point in our stay, it honestly didnt surprise me. I would never recommend this hotel. I am so incredibly disappointed with how we and all of the other hotel guests were spoken to and treated. The only staff we interacted with that were kind and helpful were the people running the breakfast area in the morning and one African American woman who worked the front desk at night. I am sorry I didnt catch her name in order to share it here, as everyone else working there could learn from her. There is great potential for this to be a fantastic option for people to stay, families and couples alike, but with staff that treat people that way, it only poisons the foundation of the hotel.

Ive only been here a short second but trust me when I say Im thoroughly impressed! Huge rooms! Beautiful common area, but the best thing is the ladies working the front desk are absolutely delightful, friendly, helpful, and funny! Because of my work Ill now have to be in Indiana about one week a month, and you can bet Ill be staying here every time

Fabulous stay!CLEAN. Great pool. Good breakfast. Loved the service everywhere. We booked off the street for 3 nights. Added a 4th night because the kids didnt want to leave.We rented a couple of RedBox movies, and the front desk offered dvd players.Very nice price in the 60s.Well definitely be back.

So many people say this is a 0 star because everyones rude and its unsanitary and they got sick. I was here for the Garth Brooks concert and it was really clean, the staff were delightful, low price for a high quality room, pool was clean, and I never got sick. Either these people are so uptight about a good hotel, the hotel turned a lot of things around, or they just had a bad experience. Overall Id rate this a 6 star if I could. Best hotel Ive ever stayed at. Definitely going there again.

Clean, affordable, comfortable, close to shopping/food/fun, friendly staff, spacious rooms. I very much enjoyed my stay here. If I had one complaint it would be that the pillows are very thick, so if you’re a side sleeper or stomach sleeper you should probably bring your own pillow. I highly recommend Varsity Clubs of America if you’re in the area!

Very very nice place for a totally average price! My room was nice, very spacious, had a mini-kitchen, a jacuzzi tub, and was right next to the gym and hot tub...all for less than Ive paid for average rooms at major chain hotels. The breakfast was less than stellar, but it wasnt bad and it was free, so Im not going to complain. If Im ever back in this area, this is definitely my first choice!

Stayed here the last 2 days for a hockey tournament and I must say it was great! The rooms were spacious for a family of 5, it was very clean and the staff was very nice! Tammy at the front desk was awesome and very accommodating!

This was a unique find. Very friendly people, clean and spacious rooms. Its not luxury, but it met all our needs and then some extras. Not to forget the bathtub was HUGE compared to most hotels. I would recommend contacting the hotel directly; they will match any online price.
