First time golfing on this course we asked for a 6pak for the two of us golfing...the guy at the desk said I’ll give you 3 for the first 9 and I’ll meet you on the back 9 with the other 3....I’m 34, don’t need to be told how much beer I can drink while playing golf...it’s supporting local business...now we go to wildwood and haven’t been back!

Nice city course. Always dealt with nice staff in the club house. But id say “Poor” management. Been there multiple times in the evening and have had the golf pro and marshall rushing you to finish because their worried bout sunset, and not because we were playing slow. There is no beverage cart, no club restaurant. The course and club house have a lot of potential, IMO it just needs newer leadership/management.

Its a nice course with some degree of difficulty

If I were rating just the course it would be a 4.5 stars but the fact that this place has such an unfriendly group of people working there and the lack of any kind of edible food is crazy! They truly have nothing worth eating and even the refrigerator sandwiches they have nothing for them. Vardon puts this place to shame when it come to hospitality!

The free golf lessons are great. The course is wonderful and the staff very friendly.

Great course for being smack in the middle of town. Well taken care of with a very friendly staff, but the construction really did not help matters! Im sure once its all said and done, it will be back to its former glory. Also might have to putt about 2 feet from some geese (very bad goose problem, expect for your irons to be covered in good poo)

Nice golf course hard to walk

This is a beautiful well maintained golf course. Very friendly staff and pro. I highly recommend play. It is also very reasonable for 9 and 18 holes. It does have a slight problem with northern geese. I play 9 holes most mornings and find it very relaxing and enjoyable.

I wish I could rate the actual course differently because its decent, however the management and employees at this course create the ABSOLUTE worst golf experience Ive ever had ( Ive golfed over 700 rounds in my life) I would skip this place at all costs, go to the vardon or another local course if its at all possible, I cannot stress this enough.....

Beautiful course, but the Ranger pushes you through the front nine so fast you cant relax enough to play and enjoy your game. We were forced to play through the military couple in front​ of us(military appreciation day) who cought right back up so we teamed up and played best ball and that still was not fast enough for the Ranger. When we got to the back nine it was so backed up we had to wait a long time. Nice place just get rid of the pushy Ranger so people can enjoy a round of golf. The Ranger makes you feel like you should just give the pro shop a $100 and go home.

Love this place. Go at least once a week. Owner /manager is a great guy and helps me out a lot. Awesome course and so far awesome other players.

Nice course person working in the pro shop was great!! Came from Grand Forks only to have day spoiled by pushy and rude ranger. Hes not needed!!

We went there yesterday and the course was in good condition and the clubhouse people were very friendly. I read the reviews about the ranger, so I was expecting the worst but he was very nice and friendly and a great guy.

I was only there for a cross country meet, but it seemed like a well put together course.

Course loos yo be in good condition. I planned to play late on Sunday (after 4), but cancelled when told the fee was $64. Even though I was alone, I was told I had to pay the full cart fee of about $29.

Was a member last year. Havent heard of too many good things next year, they are preparing for the dike. Wont be a member next year because of the busyness and they dont really make you feel like a member. Course is fine, price is high, would rather be a member at the vardon.

Charged full price to play front nine, just to find out that there are constructions going on that changed the layout of the course. No one informed us about it. Treated real bad by the ranger. Will take my business else where.

Great course. Sometimes the main club house closes early and the ranger stalks around are my only complaints.

Souris River channels through out many of the golf holes, Souris Valley is a golf course where you learn of lateral water hazards (The Souris River).

Its an OK course. Too high price.

Went here with a group of four. Was followed around all 18 holes by a ranger. And told to hurry up; because we were holding every one up even though we didnt take long at all. Treated us like we were 10.
