I dont remember the last time I had a better shopping experience! The entire staff was great. I went there looking for something different to add to my collection, found several handguns in excellent condition at very affordable prices. I dealt with Tyler and have recommended him to several of my friends.

Rude employees! I thought they might have changed through the years but they are still rude, unwilling to help and just plain arrogant. Go to Scheels or Spartan arms. This place does not deserve your money!

Yes there was a time during the oil boom when customer service lacked but since they have improved. Staff is patient and if you require assistance youll have to ask as they are willing to let you browse and not pressure you to buy.

I like visiting the Loft every few weeks. I love guns but cant afford too many. The loft has good to decent prices, I just really miss the days when you could pick up a used rifle for a great deal. The staff is helpful and they have a good variety of guns and ammo.

Very pleased with the loft, most of my guns have been purchased through them and i have always been given a fair deal. Employees have always been courtious and helpful with any dumb questions i come up with. Not only is the gun selection great but the ammo selection is very plentiful as well. Plan on buying many more guns from these guys in the future.

This is a great place to purchase am no and they have a great selection of firearms. They process FFL quickly to other dealers whom I purchases from. I just wish they had more salespeople on the floor when they are busy. I have only seen at the most of two. But usually one person working the front counter.Overall great experience and will due more business in the future

What a selection of firearms and gear!-This place is busy, thats why I am not getting any service-Okay, I am one of two people in here and I am standing at the counter... does anybody work here?Last few experiences:-They wont come down $5 on a $50+ magazine-Ask if they have any of a certain item, answer is ALWAYS a big fat, NO. Then ask another guy, and he will go find one, just takes the other guy 15 minutes.-Absolutely do NOT try to trade in or sell them a used gun. They will offer you less than half its value, and will not budge.DO NOT talk to the shorter guy with the beard and the hat. Absolute prick.Go to their store, find what you want, buy it online or from another store where you have received good service before.

Helpful guys, they listen to what you want to do and then work hard to make sure you get what you are looking for.

Outstanding customer service! They take the time to actually talk to their customers and be personable. Plus they participate in several manufacturer discount programs (Glock Blue Label for example). Maybe I dont know the secret password to get the good service I see in other reviews. Ive been in there 5-6 times and the general attitude from the staff is they are too busy to bother with customers. Ordered a gun through them and when I asked if they would give me a call when it arrived the guy scoffed and said Nope. So its up to me to keep checking back. This is the last of my business theyll be getting.

Extremely happy with all aspects of my transaction. I took a chance and made a significant dollar amount lay-away and purchase for a hard to find item from the The Sportsmans Loft/The Attic for my wife for our 37th anniversary. Did the entire transaction over the phone, long distance from Indiana. Both Karen and Paul were the consummate professionals! The purchase arrived at my local FFL dealer as scheduled, just 51 hours after making final payment. A1, factory new in the box with all documentation as promised. What more could you ask for? If the need ever arises again, I wouldnt even think twice before shopping the Attic again! Great price, availability, customer service and integrity. Theyre a class act!

I like their selection, and some staff are real nice, while others really rude. Most of them do the bare minimum for customers. Worst thing is that I ALWAYS get muzzled by at least one staff member. Its like they train people to point guns at customers! For example, one guy in particular, points every pistol at his own belly, then points it at the customer when he hands it to them. That screams gun amateur. Doesnt matter how much knowledge they think they have, violating basic rules is ridiculous.

Huge selection! They have tons of Sigs, ARs, Bolt guns, and shotguns. Plenty of 1911s as well. Large case of optics, but mostly hunting and long-range scopes. Impressive used and NFA selection (lots of lever guns in w.c.f. loadings). Prices are average to high, and the customer service can be a little hit or miss. The owner is active in local competition and is very passionate about shooting sports and helping people have fun at the range (brought out a dealer sample MP5 and UMP for people to shoot for free).

I saw a pistol these guys had online for auction on gun broker. Through some questioning via email we made a deal to make a private sale (without gunbroker) and they would ship the gun to me in Connecticut via my FFL. I was a bit apprehensive seeing as I would be paying over 1,000 dollars for a gun almost 2,000 miles away, that I had only seen in pictures. This transaction was based on the honor system. Honestly I was a difficult customer but the guys at Sportsmans Loft accommodated me perfectly. They have great customer service and the pistol was exactly as described. Best online transaction I have had. Great job.

Went in last friday to the sportsmansloft heard all the ranting and raving about it... was going to buy a deer rifle and a 22 caliber....i was in the store 15 minutes and was not even greeted or said hi to... was not even known i was there. the people there were in weekend mode and total bullshit mode.. very poor customer service and support.. i expected even if they were busy for them to say we are busy will be with you in a bit,, but not even that... so ill never go back..... like the other thread said enjoy the oil boom while its here cause i have a feeling when it goes so will you... i did go to the other guys in town and in fact,, buy my 2 guns and was greeted and was treaded with respect.... Sincerely One disappointed customer

Sportsmans Loft is on target.I saved $140.00 on the MSRP of my new handgun.Ordered it in store, they said it would take about a week. I picked it up in 3 days.Thank you Sportsmans Loft.

If i had a choice, they would not even get 1 star. First off, the customer service is abysmal, and non existent. The store personnel are rude, prices are high and the only reason is (just like most Minot businesses) because the town fortunately has high paid oil workers wondering around spending money that is flowing out of their pockets like boogers out of a 1 year olds nose!!! They are know it alls that will walk away from you in a heart beat and not even acknowledge you for an entire 1-2 hour visit while looking at guns. Better enjoy it boys because when this here oil boom bottoms out, you and all the alike stores/businesss (crooks) in this town are going to take a steep nose dive back into the 60s where youll be wishing you had been a little better with customer service and public relations. Ive been in the store 7 times and i can remember every visit like when you were a kid and got a beating of your life! Amazon and E-bay get most of my business anymore because i dont like wasting time and spending money in places like this!! Oh and for the record, women tend not to be treated any kinder, as my wife has been in on several occasions and receives a similar treatment so one good thing, at least they are not just sexist. Now i frequent the store only about once every six months(out of boredom) to see if it ever changes and i hope someday they see the light and actually join the human race again and start treating people with some common decency. To the owners, if you are aware of how your store is being run, that in itself is terrible!
