This is a lovely, sizable park in the middle of a residential area. It has a lot of grassy space with mature trees, paved paths, and good lighting. It also has a ton of amenities: a community sports center, tennis courts, basketball courts, playing fields, a small wading pool, and a couple of playgrounds, one of which has accessible equipment for kids with disabilities. This is popular place for locals to bring their children and walk their dogs during the day.

We usually go here after weve grabbed some food. Its a nice park to just sit and eat a meal and chat with you friends or family. We also find a lot of turtles here when exploring!

Updated park since last coming here. New tennis courts. Still fenced and new basketball nets, but damaged nets already. Good, large park.

My kids have always loved this park but they love it even more now with all the new equipment they have put in the upgrade is awesome

They have updated their playground (not all the way) The new and improved version of the park is nice it has the turf ground. Which is better than wood chips or sand.

Freshly renovated with new tennis courts and playgrounds. Most of the multiple block park remains open space.

This has to be one of the cleanest and most quiet parks in Minneapolis. I always see this park full of families and people having fun.

Squad of players have a kick ball league that host games every Sunday. Lot of beautiful black brothers and sister cooking,laughing and enjoying the games

This is a fantastic park in North Minneapolis. The city and parks department needs to spend more money here to upgrade the tennis facilities and improve a drainage issue. Great community outreach.

Folwell park is where the lamp right is lit the purple sky over the park in horizon 1 block east on 37th ave n and Logan to 37 th and Knox north mpls the park manages snow removal for not only the huge public area but from penn to Knox on the pedestrian path and rain garden s thank you for scooping my walk in your bobcat last snow I was tired needed the assistance

Helps solidify the reputation of Minneapolis as a green city in even the often under-served Northside. Big, lots of amenities.

Nice place to come to, they can do a better job st tge park and the surrounding area clean. My husband and I was out this morning walking our dog, we cleaned up alot of garbage, aalso found some needles and lil baggies .

Football season many young kids enjoy the last days of Summer

Crap shoot on what you will get coming here. Most time its good, other times its fights and having to listen to kids screaming and swearing. Watch your step for broken glass and dog poop on the paths. Dont let your dogs eat chicken bones, or used condoms.
