Amazing experience @ Leviticus! The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and patient. While nobody enjoys all the COVID safety procedures these days, Leviticus does a great job ensuring a safe environment and not losing the amazing vibe of the shop.Working with my artist, Sean, was also a great experience. He worked closely with me on the design, gave great feedback and was just an all-around great guy to chat with through the process. I never felt rushed and we were kicking around a few ideas right up to the tattoo appointment. There was also really good collaboration among the artists in the shop chatting with each other and sharing ideas. Love that.This was my first tattoo... a half sleeve in traditional style. Sean killed it and cant wait to see him for more!

Leviticus is hands down my favorite place to get piercings done!I got my very first dermal done by Cole and he is so professional, educational and so sweet! I felt beyond comfortable with him as he helped me with my bridge piercing healing process and doing my first dermal.The ladies at the front counter were absolutely friendly and lovely. I’m very anxious going into new places but I felt comfortable as soon as I walked through the door.I am planning on getting more piercings in the future here! This is the best experience I’ve had in a shop like this and I will recommend to anyone who needs a piercing. Thank you!

On Saturday February 8th, a friend and I got a tragus and helix piercing respectively.Arrived at 12:40 and there was already a line formed outside the studio. They opened promptly at 1:00. It wasn’t till 1:35 where they separated the line into people who wanted tattoos vs piercings. Had they done that sooner, my experience would have been better. But once it was our turn, the front of house staff were extremely kind and helpful. They answered our questions without judgment, front of house staff were very knowledge and patient. A few minutes after 2:00, it was finally our turn to get pierced. (Left around 2:40).Jack was phenomenal They were patient, friendly, supportive, and professional. Jacks’ piercing room was extremely clean and they followed sterile procedure. Jack even asked us both “can I touch your ear?” which I thought was amazing. There was even a cute little meme on the ceiling so that when you lay down to get pierced, you can notice it.Jack took the time to explain to my friend and I the aftercare procedure and made sure all of our questions were answered before they went with the next client.Price was expensive, but appropriate. You’ll be paying essentially for the jewelry, piercer (they’re apart of an association), and quality of the studio, and sterility equipment.Definitely going back for another ear piercing with Jack soon.

I got my ears pierced here and was really impressed by the quality of the shop and how professional all the workers seemed. Danii Fredricks did my piercings; she was incredibly friendly, kind and patient with any stupid question I asked, I absolutely recommend her for piercings. They had a decent variety of jewelry, all of which was really high quality and very nice looking. Loved this place and would absolutely go back.

Cole double-pierced my tragus today and did an amazing job! He was patient with me while I went back and forth on jewelry and then worked hard to find the perfect placement for the piercings. Then, the piercing process was quick and he was very calm and helped me to remember to keep breathing. Such a great experience, and all the other staff were professional and friendly. Ill be back again soon!

I went here for my first tattoo and the whole experience was great. The staff was friendly and my tattoo artist Clifton did an amazing job at talking through things with me. They’ve also installed new procedures for COVID which made me feel safe going here. I definitely recommend!

I had a good experience with my first tattoo when I was 16, which I obviously had parental permission for. When I went to get my second at 28, two very subtle and small arrows on my thumb, they declined services because they said they weren’t willing to “taint” someone who didn’t already have hand tattoos. I mean I want to understand that, but someone with hand tattoos has to start somewhere, so why not with a place the person knows and trusts? Also, tattoos (and piercings) are the services offered by the business...I ended up going elsewhere and do not regret it and now have a new shop and will not be back.

This shop is legit. Clean, professional, and just plain dope inside. The ladies at the desk were very friendly and helpful. Plus Jesse Heike gave me and my sister some good clean ink. Very happy with the whole experience.

I was looking for a new shop which is always difficult, especially with COVID. Nonetheless, Leviticus goes above and beyond expectations in bio security. Additionally, the staff were kind and personable. They do great work for a good price. They are on time and professional. Also, lastly, the shop is a really cool environment in general. I have no complaints and I 100% recommend them.

I had a good experience there the first time i had went about 2 years ago, but when i called to book an appointment i was hung up on the first time i had called. the 2nd time i had tried to make an appointment i was put on hold twice (which didn’t bother me) but after the 2nd time of being on hold i was answered by someone else other than who i had been scheduling my appointment with and they set the a random time that i didn’t ask for, then i had politely corrected them and asked when they had openings because i didn’t know if they were booked and i was responded to with an attitude for absolutely no reason.

This shop and its people are fantastic! They put a lot of focus on sterilization and many extra precautions during COVID. They even have the staff open the door for you! Everyone wears a mask, all the time. Ill never go anywhere else to get tattoo work. I really enjoy everyones work at Leviticus, but a special shout out to Jessi Graden. Shes an absolutely amazing artist. Thanks so much!

Jack is incredible. They are always so patient when I get nervous. Just got my nipples done and the bars feel a little snug, so I’ll go get them checked out this weekend. Otherwise, highly recommended!Update: just got my rings changed. Free of charge because they didn’t expect my nipples to relax the way they did. Jack is amazing, so kind and very good at their job. Always asks before touching me, and comforts me through the process. Outstanding service.

Got my first tattoo done here by Kyle. I was definitely nervous coming in as I’m sure most first-timers are, but Kyle’s enthusiasm as we were going through the prep work definitely helped put me at ease. Cool guy to talk to and I couldn’t be happier with the work he did!

Extremely professional. They didnt even make a big deal about my shirt being buttoned wrong. Theyre affordable - yet great quality. They wash their hands and use gloves, and even masks. Everything is awesome. They also have a pond.

From the moment I first met him at the consultation I knew he was asking all the right questions to get to know me to create the perfect tattoo. Kyle was professional and a ton of fun to sit and talk with while getting it. I had a handful of weird requests and he was able to accommodate. The vibe inside Leviticus is also amazing. Unique decor with great ambiance. Ive been to a lot of tattoo shops and by far this shop exceeded my expectations on decor alone aha. Cliffton was great, took his time with stenciling and made sure the tattoo came out how I wanted it. I went on a Saturday which is walk-ins only, make sure to be there at opening because 30min in and there was a line out the door, no joke.

I got a piercing here from Jack and I was very impressed. Very clean and sterile, plus the jewelry is high quality. The one thing that really stuck out to me is that instead of just walking me through what they were doing, Jack also started off by asking “CAN I touch your ear?”, while most piercers will just say “I’m going to touch your ear now”. Obviously I was paying for them to touch my ear but the added consent stood out to me. Expect to pay for the quality of the studio, piercer, and jewelry.

A lovely, non intimidating, clean, friendly shop! Saturdays are walk in days and I found myself there then as I was only in town visiting. After showing them my idea for a small tattoo (hydrangea flower) I was given a time slot for later in the day and told to return then. The shop is very comforting with lots of lush plants and a koi pond. The artist was friendly, patient and clean. I would definitely return for more tattoos.

I walked in yesterday with a friend to see Shannon, and I couldnt have been more satisfied with the result! Incredibly clean, professional, and friendly. As a first-time tattoo, I wouldnt have wanted to go anywhere else. Including service, tip, and aftercare products, it was $150 - well worth the experience and artistry I received. Although Shannon is just beginning at Leviticus, I highly recommend him! He is incredibly talented and respected the design that I chose. I could go on for hours about this place, but Ill wrap up by saying that this studio has left a very positive impact, and is sure to get my business again! One of the best places in the Twin Cities hands down.

Friendly people and very relaxing. I was nervous to get my piercing but they did it quick and almost painless. They also were informative on how to keep the piercing clean and how to take care of it while it heals.

I came in for my first ever cartilage piercing. Jack was incredible throughout the process. Before I even knew it, it was all over. Jack put me completely at ease and did an amazing job. I highly recommend them. Also, the front desk staff was very helpful and patient and answered all my questions.

My low rating is not based on the work I had done here, by Kyle Malone, done years ago and which was fantastic and everything I wanted. It’s because of their current front desk customer service which is extremely lacking and my most recent attempt to arrange a tattoo was an atrocious experience and ultimately a bust because of their front desk chick. First, when I called in to ask whether any of their artists who might enjoy doing portraits or animal likenesses had availability on a very specific weekend that I needed it done, she told me that she couldn’t tell me over the phone and that I really needed to drive there in person to talk about it and find out any information. That seemed bizarre and inconvenient to me when I was just trying to find out basic, preliminary information. But I did the next day, even though they are located quite far away from me (which I informed her of to no avail). Then when I got there she told me no, they didn’t have anyone available that weekend that would be a good fit for an animal portrait (a very simple one of a guinea pig at that). I couldn’t be told that over the phone??? Then when we went over the artists who were available and what kind of styles they could offer, she still clearly didn’t want to assist me in making it happen and help me communicate with the artists first to find out if they felt comfortable doing it. Finally, when I did decide on a person whom she’d said was available, she then said “oh I’m sorry actually she isn’t available that day.” Like what kind of games are they playing?! I walked straight out without another word. She wasted an hour of my time between driving there and standing at the counter talking in circles when I should have just been told over the phone if there was no chance of it happening. This all took place the evening of 6/02/19 (with the phone “conversation” taking place the afternoon of 6/01). Hope they find better front desk people because I really enjoyed my experience at Leviticus years ago with Kyle but I won’t be going back anytime soon if I have to jump through hoops, play frustrating games, and have my time wasted just to get a tattoo scheduled.

Absolutely in love with my sticker from Collin Rigsby. The design he created and colors chosen were EXACTLY what I wanted. Solid line work, punched in colors- its absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Highly recommend him for your traditional tattoos.

I went in to Leviticus to talk through my design and schedule an appointment. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and talked through what I wanted and I scheduled my tattoo with Shannon Nordin for a few weeks later. I had my tattoo done today and I’m blown away by how awesome my tattoo is! Shannon’s attention to detail is fantastic and he is funny and personable and made sure to ask several times during my session if I was okay or if I needed to take a break. I made another appointment with him for a different tattoo before I left! The decor and atmosphere is very cool and there’s lots to look around at while your sitting there getting a tattoo. I would highly recommend Leviticus for your next tattoo!

Took them over a month to reply to my consultation email and by the time I did get around to my appointment the artist was late, rude, argued with me on what I wanted because “that’s not what he would do”. They also charged me $280 for a 25 minute tattoo that is about 3x3 inches and not very detailed.

I didnt get a tattoo here but the two female staff who helped me out were rad. They tried to fit me in for a Bro tattoo with my friend. Obviously they do good work or the walk ins would of been available. I would go here unless you are a tool....then go some where else to get your tool tattoo. Great artists and cool shop.

An awesome experience! Got my nose pierced by Jack, the shop was clean and so, so friendly. Jack was efficient and friendly, gave very clear instructions on aftercare and was up-front about pricing and procedure. Could not recommend this place enough!

My sister and I went in for tattoos, the girls at the front desk were nice, but we talked to 2 different people and I think what we were asking for became a bit of a game of telephone. I gave a price range I was okay with paying and said it was okay to simplify our idea to fit the size and price range we were looking for. The tattoos look good but,Issues:1. I ended up paying $150-200 more than I said I wanted to and I had no other option bc the artist decided the price, but the girls at the front desk were the ones providing the info to the artist.2. The artist we got said he was going to take a 20 minute break between tattoos, that was totally fine and good, but it ended up being an hour3. The artist we got was very rude. He voiced his opinion about not getting to do any good tattoos to his co worker while my sister was still in his chair. Overall he was short with us and kind of pretentious.4. The tattoo healed well for both my sister and I, but the skin is still pretty raised in random spots even after 4 months.Overall, I would recommend getting an appointment with an artist youve met before rather than doing a walk in, even if they tell you that would be easier. The place is clean and nice, they do good work. Youre just going to pay way too much for bad customer service.

I got my philtrum pierced by Jack and it was a very comfortable, excellent experience. They assured I was at ease during the entire process and I was impressed by their attention to detail while we prepped for the actual piercing itself. I got my nostril pierced a month ago at leviticus. They were very quick, and did a great job. I went back for my one month check in, and had a bit of a wait but had a good visit.

Went in right when they opened at 1pm for the walk-in Saturday. Got all set up at the receptionist desk, where the lady (I didnt get any names since everything happened so efficiently!) helped me walk her through what I wanted the artist to do. Waited about 35 minutes, since there were like 10 people in front of my friend and me, and then I was brought back to get my tattoo.The tattooing itself was quick and painless, and the artist I had was nice and talkative during the easier parts where Im assuming he didnt have to focus as much. Left the shop craving yet another tattoo right away. Highly recommend!! Ill definitely be coming back here, either for a custom tattoo or another walk-in day.

I went to the shop on Thursday around 1:25pm and found one staff member. I got his attention to open the door and he said its not open and he doesnt know why. I waited in my car in the parking lot for like 30-40 minutes. Wasnt open even then so I figured Ill shop in another store first and come back. Finished shopping and called them around 2:30 and they didnt answer. On Saturday, I called them and they answer. I asked if they were open and felt dumb about it so I asked about the navel piercing. They informed me that its $40 with the aftercare saline bottle. I went in and two staffs were probably on a break smoking out. I waited a while until girl came in and told me to do some paperwork and she left again. I did that and a guy who didnt even introduce himself came in (Andy) and helped. He looked at my bellybutton and then we looked at the jewelry together. I picked out the one that I wanted which was with opaque pink/white stone (similar picture attached). He asked if I wanted a bigger head and I agree because the one I was looking at was smaller. Told him that if its the same design and style but bigger then yes itll be good. There was a bigger piece that was similar style, but different stone so I figure it was all good. He said there was one like the one that I wanted too. I was excited and all for it. Got the piercing done and it all put in only to find out that the jewelry was not the one mention. The one he put in was plain steel piece (similar picture attached). I talked to him about it and he was confused and didnt suggest anything at all so I just walked away with it. Every time I look at my navel piercing, I just get mad. What a waste of the $90+ for such an experience and service

I cannot say enough positive things about this shop, not only is it pristine, friendly and just downright beautiful, the artists here are masters of their craft and working with them was SUCH an honor and so much fun. As a collector, I’ve visited about 20 shops in and out of state and Leviticus takes the cake.That being said, my advice to you is make sure you show up on time but be prepared to wait just in case, if your artist is running behind for your appointment it is for good reason and they will appreciate your patience. I had to get an MRI a few weeks ago and realized I had no idea how to take most of my piercings out. I came in and literally only 15 minutes before I had to leave for my appointment. It was extremely busy, but they fit me into their schedule, and it was unbelievable. I would have been absolutely screwed for my appointment if Jack hadnt done me a solid. This place is amazing!!!

Had an excellent session with Reid this weekend. a great artist and a great guy. Sat for about 2-3 hours and came out with some of the straighest bands Ive ever seen and they were exactly how i imagined them. If youre in the twin cities or even in the state of Minnesota and looking for some ink I highly recommend coming in to see Reid at Leviticus. Hes incredibly talented and will definitely work hard to give you the art you want. 10/10

Collin is top notch. He’s a great artist that can take a concept and make it reality. I’ve had two tattoos done by him and he’s great. One cover up on my back and an original on my shoulder. He also took care of my mom! He takes pride in his work and is very respectful of your wishes. The front desk staff is also incredible. They communicate clearly and quickly and are very friendly.

I came to Leviticus because I couldn’t get my nose hoop, that I purchased from a different shop, on. The lady at the front desk greeted me kindly although i walked in 10mins before they closed. She went the extra mile and asked the piercer if he could assist me and he took care of me in less than 5mins. Now that’s awesome customer service! Will definitely come here if I want a tattoo or piercing in the future.
