Just brought my son and a few of his buddies here as a birthday trip. Had a great time from start to finish. The equipment seems good quality and they have plenty of different guns. A few of the headbands could stand to be replaced maybe! The crew working here are friendly and always willing to help with any issues you might be having though. Kill numbers are not really important in their games. The different game modes were really fun and emphasize PTFO over kills. I really appreciated that aspect. Unusual but great fun. Whether you were pressing buttons to capture zones, or defusing bombs, everyone seemed to be having a good laugh. We came in an open play session and ended up in 9v9 teams. That number seemed to work well. Probably wouldnt have wanted too many more. I saw a number of reviews criticizing the stairs but personally had no problem with them. Im 6ft tall and not young and didnt really have any problem with the safety stairs. You just have to adapt a little. Feeling it today though! All in all I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place. Im going to look into getting a work group together for a private session. The refs were good too. Forgot their names though! Top fun.

Been to this location few times now, always have friendly, helpful staff. Their laser tag is always tons of fun no matter what location you go to, realistic feeling guns, lots of different game types to mix things up. Theyre even cool about letting you record video during the games and everything. Id definitely recommend this place, they do private parties but even if you want to just show up to a session, always plenty of people.

Had a chance to celebrate my sons birthday at CMP Tactical Lazer Tag Milwaukee. I had some questions prior to the event and sent them a message which was answered almost immediately. Once at the location, the manager Julia and the rest of the crew were phenomenal. They took very good care of us during our sessions and made sure we didnt need anything during the birthday party. I highly recommend this place. Definitely will be back.

Fun time with the family. One of the few thing I can enjoy with my teenaged son. So win win for me

About as close to real life video games as it gets. Headshots only with sensors on your head. The map has great corridors with tons of hiding places, allows for great tactical movement with teammates. We played search and destroy, domination, protect your general, and King of the Hill. Only thing that would be cooler was if they kept track of your kills and deaths. Would love to see the massive outdoor setup in Lake Geneva.

We had a blast it was my 4th time there and I brought a few friends with me. we had an amazing time its a great place to go with a group or by your self you will always have a team to play with.

I enjoyed my game session. However, it was a little difficult to hear the rules/dos and donts because people kept firing their rifles and talking over the referee. Very inexpensive. Will go back again!

The whole team at CMP is great. I started going regularly now because its a good workout and there are a lot of great people to meet. If you like first person shooter games CMP is for you.

LOVE this place! Had so much fun with my work team a few years ago and we still talk about it. Planning on heading to the Lake Geneva one this summer but this company runs their events really well and its always a great time!

This place has clean bathrooms, helpful and experienced personnel, and a great facility overall. My friends and I come here probably at least 2 times a year since we first discovered it 4 years ago.Some highlights of why we like it: guns are weighted to feel real, the battlefield has a nice setup, the games are fun, and the employees are no nonsense.This place has actually decreased in price and definitely well worth it.

Cmp is the best place to play laser tag! The refs really know their stuff, and the game types and weapons are really well balanced. The set up as far as the play area really works out well. Theres an upstairs level and a downstairs level and limitless possibilities for strategies. I always have lots of fun whenever I go!

Its a okay laser tag experience. Not bad price for the different game modes you play. I would say the best way to do it here is come with enough people for two teams of people or atleast one full team, Or else its not much fun playing with the regulars here. It seems the rules only apply to some people because I was told to walk slower as the enemy team is running around everywhere else and talking when they were dead. That was a rule also followed not so much. Not a experience that was very fun when only some people have to follow them. Lots of cheating that does not get caught will be the name of the game here from what I seen.Course is Good place foryounger kids and teenagers, Not so much adult friendly, Especially if you are over 6 feet tall as I am because the so called steps are completely ridiculous for anyone to get up and down, Especially when you are told to move slowly. Would not be surprised of allot of people get hurt at this location because of the stair course setup. I would not reccomend this place to any taller. Overall not a horrible experience but I would not go back there again.

The best laser tag in the country, nay, the world. They might seem strict on rules but for good reason. Safety is of the utmost importance to their wonderful crew. Head ref Josh really cares about the players having fun and Manager Julia always ensures people leave satisfied. Full size, metal weaponary. Incredible game modes. Intense play. Teamwork is an absolute must. One man army style play will only yield frustration. Forget what you think you know about laser tag and come learn what true Tactical Laser Tag is all about.

Ive gone twice now and really enjoy it. Pricing is reasonable and the games are ready intense! The guns you use are pretty nice and it feels like they are accurate and real to life. Staff is always friendly and professional. Definitely will visit in the future.

Dont go here if you are a taller person. The so called stairs are just ridiculous to get up and down. Great place for kids and smaller people, not so much if you are 6 foot or taller. Seems rules are not for everyone like they should be. I would not go here again.

This place is really fun - not your typical laser tag. It is good for all age groups, beginners or not. The guns are accurate, the building is really cool, and the missions are fun. I would say that the referees could do a better job making sure there is not cheating. When we were there, we were all beginners except for one group of 6 guys. They knew how to take advantage of the rules and get away with it. Regardless it was still a fun time.

Lazer tag is always a blast, and this place is no exception. We had an awesome time and definitely need to go back! Fun for groups too! They have a bunch of different game types to play which keeps it interesting!

Disappointed. Too many rules. If you talk when you are dead they kill your teammates. You know if you are dead when the lights on your forehead light up and it says murder or something. Unfortunately you cant see the lights and its packed so good luck hearing it. Too many people they cram in to play. It could be really good.

Fun games, but suggest doing personal group as the referees do no more than issue warnings when it comes to their rules. Players are allowed to run, go out of bounds and break game rules with no repercussions.Good amount of fun mixed in with disappointment. Would be more fun if they enforced rules.

Very fun. Came here after a bad day at work and at the end I enjoyed myself. I went in alone with two other groups of teens and came out almost like we were all friends.

Always a fantastic time. Great for young and old. My teenage sons love this so much. Your only as old as you feel. Im going to feel old tomorrow. Go check it out. Cant wait to check out their outdoor location in Lake Geneva this summer

This is a great place to bring friends or have a birthday party. The refs make sure everyone has a good time. The games are strategic and challenging. I loved the good natured competition. This is so much better than other laser tag places.

Very competitive. Cool you can climb up in buildings and whatnot. Make sure you get with the people who are casuals because they will carry your team!

Elijah, Jacob, Avery, and Crystal were all amazing and made our work outing one to remember. Our group of 10 joined 30 or so of all ages in a variety of fast paced, exciting and hectic games which was a bunch of fun. The crew stayed late and took pictures of our group after which we definitely appreciated. Check this place out!

A lot of fun, but here is a warning, if you are not in shape, thw regulars will chew you up. They are very friendly and help you understand the game but the upstairs area is very hard to get to if you are even slightly overweight. Most games require you to go up, and respawn down, so it will be a workout. Good clean facility though, no complaints.

If you like laser tag, youll love this place! Its set up like an abandoned town inside and you and your team play against an opposing team for territory.

Very very fun place come here with some friends once or twice a year but my main gripe is getting very very experienced players once in awhile and get spawn camped the whole time. Making the game very very boring and not that fun to play. Other than that I have lots of fun.

Great fun if you like sports/moving. Take a water break, fountain is cold and clear. Beware, refs will always cheese games to ensure underdogs have a chance. Would be less fun if they didnt so dont be sour if youre up by 12 on the last round and its a miraculous comeback.

The place is a lot of fun. The guns are realistic and fun to use. It takes a lot of teamwork and strategy. They recently raised the price, so it is decently expensive now, but they do have a lot of deals online. I will say that sometimes it becomes quite difficult for the teams to be properly balanced for skill but i dont know how they could fix that. The regulars/members also have a high level of elitism that turns some people off to it. Not always through their skill but their disregard for the other players. Still a good time, and it changes a lot based on the people you play with.

Amazing place. I cant believe I havent reviewed it yet. The games move fast, with only enough time to catch your breath in between. Fair and fun referees. No individual stats, which emphasizes teamwork. My favorite in the city, and Ive been to all of them.

I would give this 10 stars if I could!!! Played here yesterday and it was nothing short of AWESOME! The people who work there were super friendly, and I felt like I got what I paid for and then some. An hour and a half session for $30? Amazing deal! I also loved the arena and the guns how they were basically authentic and not cheap plastic. Only headshots made it more tactical and fun versus the places where you wear a vest that is easy to see and hit. The game modes they have are awesome and it makes it much more fun. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Wish it wasnt so far from my hometown, but i think I will definitely make a return trip! This is what laser tag should be! Awesome job CMP!

We brought 18 nerds in, had a good time. The check-in process was smooth, employees were fine. Getting in was a bit of a pain. The sign needs to be primary opposing colors.. Doesnt stand out at all.The map itself. The stairs to get to the upper section are awful. Waist high on a child, knee high on an adult with a board at chest height forcing you to crawl up them and crawl down.The gear is top notch, everything worked well. The games are fun, but getting to the upper level is awful unless youre not fat, and not out of shape. :) over all a good experience, I recommend them as long as youre not a fat guy like me

An incredible experience. Nothing like laser tag growing up, CMP takes it to another level.... literally. A two level mini-city field kept changing game types intense and interesting as well as highly tactical. Fun for kids and adults alike, but if you have problems crawling you might have difficulty getting up the stairs as they are designed to reduce any falling accidents, at the cost of difficulty maneuvering at times to get up them. Really is a safe option for going up and down though.

Had a team-building exercise here with about 20 people everyone enjoyed it highly recommended!

My favorite thing to do in milwaukee. Tactical lasertag sounds ridiculous, but the multi level approach, advanced laser guns, and objectives make this a great time every time.

Ive only been to CMP once, but let me tell you this is the best lazertag place around!Their equipment is the best, very realistic and metal, non of that cheap plastic. A heck of a lot of fun and a great team building event. Its basically a real-life version of Counter Strike! I definitely recommend heading over here if you are looking to have some fun!

Went here a couple months ago with some friends because weve been looking for a good laser tag spot for a while, this was not that spot. While initially, supervisors and workers come off as friendly during the instruction and safety briefing process, they seem to become more and more militaristic as the night goes on. The main objective seems to be accomplishing the objective as quickly as possible, with no regard for individuals that are here for some casual fun. If you cant move as fast as your squad leader, you are weighing the team down. Team distributions were also very far from even where skill is concerned. Workers seemed to form a nice squad with customers (that they knew by name) and delighted in the slaughter. As someone from a very military family, I can assure you that actually enlisting is more fun than this place. However, if youre into a psuedo black-ops experience with individuals that appear to have something to prove, this is definitely for you.The guns and the environment are cool, the workers are not.

I love this place I come here every week with my family it has now become our hobby. I play in tournaments and you could call me addicted and you would be right. The place is very safe and the games are not your typical run around firing lasers everywhere. I encouraged team play and focusing on the objective. I have been to all three locations and they all have their strengths and weaknesses. Milwaukee location is the most popular and for good reason it is the most competitive and is were you will find the more experienced players. Its one problem is they have to arenas but they rarely use the second one. Lake Geneva location is defiantly interesting with its wide open and almost chaotic game play. The problem with it is there is a forest area which is hard to see through and impossible to shoot through. It also is in a more discrete location witch makes it less popular. But I encourage you to come to it. The third location in Frankfurt is my least favorite because of the gun issues. Now let it be know that I have only been there once for a tournament. I remember that we had to replay one game twice because one of my teammates was having gun issues. Overall the refs are nice the arena is clean and the games are fun what more do you need in laser tag.

Great place for laser tag in milwaukee. The arena is big with multiple buildings and floors. The staff is helpful and fun. The guns are great compared to other less organized laser tag locations. And the games are fun. Warning you will be sore the day after.

Best place to go laser tagging. Had a terrible experience at Icombat in Waukesha, and on the same night, we made the drive out to CMP. Made our night so much better. Totally worth the drive. At least at CMP they call out the cheaters and make teams fair. I would recommend this place for everyone. ^_^

If I could, I would put it at zero stars. This place is great if youre looking to have 5th grade birthday parties. Horrible place to play laser tag. The stairs are a hazard and someone pulled one of the beams from the stars wrapped with duct tape and hit the person in the head. The game modes are all mushed together and theres nothing but hard try laser tag employees playing.

Went here for a birthday party a little while ago and we had a blast. Very fun environment with heavy duty laser guns and a huge variety of advanced guns that you can upgrade to. The warehouse is well laid out and a lot of fun to run and hide in. Our party did get annihilated by a bunch of 10 year olds though... that wasnt too fun. :)

I dont think I will be returning to CMP anytime soon due to a few things that made the game very hard to recommend.The arena was good, with a central cooridor to help navigstion easy, as well as the addition of upper levels and underpasses that keep flanking an optimal option. I thought that the headshot only mechanic was okay, although I definitely prefer the vest style sensors. Despite this, the lack of indication for team assignment (other than a small part of the headband) made identification of an ally or enemy extremely difficult, especially in a dark-ish environment. I would recommend a light on each of the sensors flashing the team that a given player is on.All in all, I wouldnt return to this place, but its a good alternative to Lazertag Adventure if youre not looking to go all the way to Waukesha.

Bad gun selections and staff to strict on rules I saw a little 9 year old run and he got yelled at by one of the refs, honestly paintball and airsoft are better options, plus the arena is small and its hard to move since its tight and almost 40 people per game super crowded

Not your typical laser tag experience. You get no individual results, everything is team oriented. Teams are given missions to complete like King of the Hill, Total Domination, or Search and Destroy. Much more fun than simply shooting everyone in sight.

Bad experience all around. If you have played laser tag at a great place like Ultrazone, this will be a bad experience. Unable to distinguish enemy vs friendly players, unreliable equipment, only head sensors, bad game type directions from the employees. Waste of time and money.

Unique arena where playing to win the game rather than just amass kills is the focus. Great staff, occasionally gets too busy for my tastes, but thats a good problem to have, when you have more demand.
