Had a great time doing my first escape room. Myself and a few friends did the Dr. K escape room and we had a blast! The theme was very fun and each clue found made the next even better. For a first time escape room I had a blast!! I hope to return again soon!

Having done 150+ rooms, I must say I am thoroughly pleased with this company. We did the Dr. Croft room, and it was surprisingly challenging and more involved than I originally expected.As good as the room was, the best parts of this company are the employees. They were friendly and animated. Our game master, Marissa, was a fantastic and whimsical hostess. She got into character and kept the character all the way through, even when giving hints. This aided in the immersion factor, as a museum themed room is often difficult to make feel like youre somewhere else besides a storefront office.I highly recommend this company and am anxious to try other sister companies along our travels.

We chose this as a Christmas gift for all our family to do as a night out and finally did it last night (11/4/17), we rocked! Id say it was the first time we all had to work together to accomplish something at the same time and at first we were scattering everywhere but eventually we all focused and wow! What a great group and to know how well we can work together to accomplish getting out with minutes to spare! I wish they had pictures of our faces when the door opened, because we were all surprised we did it! We all love games of every variety and it helped and showed in this Mission! Well be talking about this for a long time! Loved it! And Nicole was a wonderful, serious (fun) Agent!

We have completed every room they have at this location and had a great time every visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. They really get into character and give you a thorough debrief afterwards awarding fun titles or accolades to each person for memorable things they did in the room. On our first visit we were able to use a Groupon and we received a couple discounts as return visitors. Overall a very good value for the entertainment. Cant wait for them to expand or change out the rooms.

Had a great experience here with a group of 10! We did Dr. K’s Lethal Injection — super challenging and fun room. Berlynn did a great job prepping our group and setting the stage. Before the night of the mission, he also helped me navigate a complicated problem with our online registration. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and made the whole experience seamless from start to finish.

Great place for a group event. They have challenging rooms for all types. Customer service is great too - we had a mix up with our booking but they got us taken care of anyway.

Berlin was our game master and made it an enjoyable experience. Really cared about our input and making the place better. The room itself was also amazing and would definitely recommend.

We booked an escape room for my brother’s bachelor party. There were 7 of us. When I called to get info about the room we were told the 7 of us would be the only ones in the room. This was not the case. There were 4 other people doing the room with us. 11 people is a lot in an escape room. The room felt very cramped. There were not enough clues for this many people and I order to move around the room you practically had to crawl over people. We spent 10 minutes with the correct combo on the number lock but it wasn’t opening and the person watch on the camera wasn’t helping. We eventually broke out. When we had our picture taken as a team we asked that we take two separate pictures. One with our group and one with the other 4. Since this was my brothers bachelor party we’re were using the pictures to make him a keepsake. We were told that we could not use our phones but that they would share the pictures online. We have done many other escape rooms in other cites and this is very common. Our photo was never posted. I messaged the escape company and they could not find our picture. This was so disappointing since it was such a important time in my brothers life. This is by far the worst experience I have had at an escape room.

So much fun!!! Group of 5, all our first times and we went in with no expectations or a clue how it works, but turned out to be an awesome experience!

We did the Dr. K room and had so much fun. Definitely am planning on trying the other rooms soon.

I put together a Dream Team of 10 to attack Dr. Ks Lethal Injection. We had a mixed group of old, young, newbies, experienced and math wizards. With our awesome game master Brad, we loved everything, from the beginning when he introduced our scenario to the end when we broke out with minutes to spare and he was there to greet us....it was truly a fantastic teamwork experience. Everyone contributed! Everyone was kept busy! Everyone had fun! Everyone was totally impressed from the start of the clock to the end of our breakout. What a neat surprise at the end! We are still talking about it. Thanks Escape MKE for a nice escape from our everyday lives! The memories we made were priceless!!

We went to Escape MKE to attempt Dr. Ks Lethal Injection. There were six of us, and we started having fun from the moment we checked in. Brianna was an amazing mission coordinator, and she set the stage wonderfully for what was about to come.An hour flew by in the room, which had some of the best puzzles and production value of any escape room Ive done. This room provided an excellent mix of physical and informational puzzles, and was easily one of the hardest Ive done. We made it out with only a couple minutes to spare!If youre in the MKE area, definitely check out Escape MKE!

(EDIT as of 2/2019 -- we did the final room at this location, Miss Tree Death -- and I had to drop my rating from 5 stars to 3. Why? Mainly, because there is a padlock in this room that is actually OUT OF PLAY but is not labeled as such. Our team was done and ready to escape with all the necessary clues at the 40-minute mark, but we wasted 10 extra minutes trying to unlock the OUT OF PLAY padlock. Then, the room controller told us that they know the padlock is supposed to be labeled, but management hasnt replaced it -- and that he [the controller] thought about telling you guys through the hint screen that you didnt need to work on that lock, but didnt. WHAT? If you are going to tout the scores and rankings of the escape rooms, then you have to also play by the rules; dont leave a pointless padlock sitting there and cause us to get a worse score because you only thought about telling you guys about it... ALSO: After we finished, we had to stay in the escape room for an extra 12 minutes because you guys finished faster than we expected, so we cant let you come out because another team is being debriefed in the exit area. Again... HUH? This is the first time Ive had a bad experience at Escape MKE, and I still think its one of the best ones in the Milwaukee area for all the reasons Ive posted before -- but these kinds of glaring flaws need to be fixed, guys.)(EDIT as of 11/2018 -- weve now done all except 1 of the rooms at this location, and they continue to be well-designed, excellent props, engaged and friendly staff; be sure to snag their 30%-off vouchers when you finish a game, great way to save on your next outing!)Ive been to every escape room location in Milwaukee, and THIS is the best. Employees make it a whole experience, starting in character, setting the tone. The rooms are awesomely designed, the clues are fun and also realistic to the world of the room. Great scoring system to compare yourself to other teams. Very reasonable prices, easy reservation system on website.Notice: theyre located on 3rd floor of the FORUM office building (it has a bunch of multicolored spotlights glowing on the walls), and at night the parking lot can look creepy. To get into the building after business hours, press the glowing button labeled ESCAPE MKE by the front entrance, wait to be buzzed in.

James Bomb room is a good one to do as a family with older kids.

This was a great experience. They do a fantastic job with the rooms. Some awesome surprises along the way as well. We had 10 in our group and did not feel cramped at all. It took all of us to get out and we had a great time doing it.Only thing I wish they would do is group discounts. Even groupon options give you better rates for less people. Other than that, it is worth the time and money for a great local attraction.

Escape MKE was a great experience for my entire family. The host (Chief) was excellent, very sociable, witty and engaging. One thing that made MKE different than other escape experiences I have had is the feedback we received after we completed the room when our host recapped how we did as a group while sharing how what each member contributed to the overall success of the team. My teenage kids really enjoyed the experience, they even worked together and got a long for the entire hour!!!

Did deathtree and the mailbox glitched out and didnt open. Also youre supposed to solve a spin lock at one point which no one knew how to do properly which just made the room impossible to solve for a dumb reason. They should have better instructions on how to do a spin lock.

Awesome experience. The staff was very friendly. My group of six was paired up four strangers. I was a little aprehensive about that but we quickly became a team. Great team building exercise as well as family event. I would definitely go back.

Second time we have been here. It is great! Our host Brett was awesome!

My grandparents loved doing The Investigation of a Miss Treedeath. The staff is awesome and very friendly!

Lots of fun! It was our 1st time and we came so close to getting out. We found some of the extra credit items so we still earned points. And Berlyn was very helpful with hints and explaining what clues we missed and he showed us how to get out. We will be back to attempt a more difficult room!

I had a horrible experience. I booked this for one other person and I. This information was relayed to the person over the phone the previous day. When we arrived the associate tells us were going to be with 6 other people. I was never informed upon booking that I would be doing this with strangers. The manager tells us this info is on the site. I booked this over the phone and maybe someone should mention that when booking. We ended up not doing the mission.

My group had a very enjoyable time working through the clues. What a great adventure!

So much fun! Bret was the BEST! He added comedy and we appreciated his theatrical antics throughout our experience. We’ll definitely be going back!!

My friends and I had a great time there. Melanie was funny, and did an amazing job setting the scene. I work at an escape room, and still enjoyed playing. I recommend this for anyone to experience. Family, friends and coworkers will enjoy the game play.

We just completed our second escape room here in 4 days! Needless to say Escape MKE does a fantastic job. The staff are very friendly, professional, and engaging. They know how to tailor the experience to your group to make sure youre making enough progress to have a good time. The room layouts and mechanisms are awesome and the stories are well thought out and executed. Will be back to crush the rest of the rooms and win the high score!

This was really a one of a kind experience, and the game was well made. We wound up failing the room, and without giving anything away, were frustrated until we realized we missed a key clue. Would definitely come back!

This location is an excellent place to go for a friends’ night out. Our host was very funny and we had a really good time!

Had a great time with my 17 year old nephew and 8 strangers we were paired with. The group bonded really well and we solved our room with 1 min 30 seconds to spare. Tom or Tim (I cant remember now) was our mission commander and he was excellent. I loved the way he recapped the mission. I would request him again. The room itself was hard, but not impossible and the clues were fun to solve. This was my 3rd experience doing an escape room, and the best so far.

We attempted the Mr. Croft’s Museum, although we didn’t succeed on stealing the staff and escaping, Brett the gentleman that enlightened our time with plenty of jokes and great voices was able to show us our terrible mistakes. I would recommend coming to the Escape MKE for an enjoyable time.

I came with a group of 10 and we did The Investigation of Mrs. Treedeath. It was the first time in an escape room for 6 out of 10 of us and we had a great time. I thought the rooms were very well designed and there were many cool features. Four stars because one feature didnt work for us which slightly affected our outcome. Nonetheless, it was a great experience even though we failed! Would definitely try another challenge here.

Escape MKE has some of the best escape rooms in the area! James bomb was my favorite but Dr. Ks was top notch too. Ive done all their current rooms and you cant go wrong with any of them

We did the Raid on Crofts Tomb which I was worried might be too easy for two adults and a 13 year old but it was fantastic! We escaped with literally one minute to spare. Now that Ive done one room and kind of have an idea how it works I cant wait to go back and try something harder! Also, Sherrick was a delightfully talented host!

Had a great time playing through the escape room with my family and definitely recommend this location and will be going back. Would give 5 stars if the last device worked, but the screen was frozen and kept us from completing on time.

We just did James bomb and had a blast. The 10 of us escaped with 3:44 remaining. So much fun. Very challenging, but not too frustrating. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great time.

Innovative and challenging set-up. We loved the bomb-clock ticking off each second --- all at once unnerving yet energizing --- as we searched for clues that would insure our safe escape. Perhaps we were too comfortable to have younger ones lead us? Not sure. In the last few seconds, we embraced our self styled destruction bravely. We were like clowns in a circus ring, laughing & silly at first, then realizing the tiger cage lock was undone and our big clown shoes would prevent a successful escape....Try this for a stimulating experience that will test your deepest thinking ---out-of-the-box ---- and beyond.

We did a second room, The Raid on Mr. Crofts Museum. The puzzles were great and we really enjoyed this one. Well be back for more rooms in the future!

This was our 3rd Escape room and I gotta say, this one was our favorite. Not only was this our fastest time completing one, but the most interesting one. Our guide, Tim, was awesome. Explained everything perfectly and made everything more exciting at the end. Definitely coming back to do a different room.

I had never tried an escape room. Wow, this exceeded my expectations! Secret Agent Mann was a great host! And the mission, in the James Bomb room was fun and challenging for our group.I will be back to try the other rooms. The hour goes by so fast, but the fun lasts! We loved our mission. We went for my sons 12th birthday and he had a great time. In fact, he wound up figuring out a clue that six adults would never have figured out ourselves. He felt amazing after that. We successfully exited our room within the time, but even if we hadnt, it was a great time. Well be going again.

Over the past two years Ive had the opportunity to visit several escape rooms. A few have been good, many have been low-budget and contrived. Escape MKE has been my favorite so far. The scenario was fun, the room was well-built, and the adventure continued to grow as the puzzle-solving went on. Nothing about the room was contrived; the puzzles and clues all had actual relevance to one another. We had a blast, and Ill happily go back for a different room!

Our mission guide was agent tape (taylor). She rocked it! Had an awesome experience. Full of energy and just made the whole thing better. Would recommend and go again.

Sherrick was a great Chief! My girlfriend and I scheduled to complete one of the missions together and we were lucky to be able to have it just be us. It was a great time. Usually there are too many people and not enough clues to follow at the same time which leaves people standing around aimlessly trying to help but we were able to go just the two of us. We really had a good time. She had never been before but thanks to the friendliness and challenge of the opportunity we thoroughly enjoyed it. Shout out to Sherrick who was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a blast.

I brought my son and we had a blast! We found it very challenging but a lot of fun. I would recommend this activity for anybody. I do however, recommend bringing a group not just two people. The challenge level is very high with just two people.

We were a group of a few teenage guys visiting from California, and decided to do a few escape rooms. This was our first escape room experience and Escape MKE did not disappoint. I believe our two hosts names were Taylor and Brett and they truly made the experience one to remember!

We had a great time. Will definitely do this again. Excellent family activity. Everyone had fun. Our host was phenomenal. She was fun and made us comfortable as this was our first time trying an escape room.

Lot of fun! Puzzle wasnt too challenging, and it was a great hour. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, Id recommend this experience to most anyone. Dont go if youre planning on being out of it though! It honestly wouldnt make for a good time anyways.

We had 10 people (9 of them are teenagers) for a birthday celebration. We had a lot of fun and the host Tyler was great! She is funny and very friendly. I recommend to anyone and definitely go there again.

This was one of the best Escape Rooms Ive done, as it was very well-organized and well-thought out. We did Mr Duprees Mission. It was challenging but not impossible. We finished with just over 1 minute to spare! Perfect! Tim, our host, was engaging, knowledgeable, and did a great job overall. Also, it was a clean room, which is important when youre touching everything and crawling around on the floor! They have several different missions and I cant wait to try more. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend to others.

This was my wife and I’s first time trying an escape room. This one was awesome. Can’t wait to go back and try the other scenarios. The staff was very energetic. We will definitely do another one and bring our family.

It was challenging and fun. We shared our experience with another group and everyone worked together to solve the puzzle in 45 minutes.

First time doing one of these, was a real good time. Staff new the right amount of hints to give without making too easy or giving away the puzzles. Good level of technologies involved with puzzles and secret mechanisms while also having classic problems to solve.

I took my three closest friends here to celebrate my birthday. We all had a wonderful time. We all had very little to no experience with escape rooms and we signed up for a James Bomb. Agent Tim made the whole experience entertaining yet challenging. We all had a great time and would love to come back sometime soon!

Escape MKE was so much fun! My friends and I have done a few at various locations, and this was definitely one of the best. The room was very creative and a very appropriately fun challenge. We definitely couldnt have done it without some hints, but we were also able to piece a lot together ourselves. The staff is friendly and good to work with.

I had been to an Escape Room once before at a different location and had a good time. But my mission at Escape MKE was far and away a much better experience from start to finish. From the beginning of the mission, our host made us feel comfortable and welcome. Our group of 4 was joined by 2 other people, which we didnt think wed like but it turned out to make the mission even more fun working with others. The post-mission briefing was also made enjoyable by our awesome host. I will definitely be coming back to try my luck at the other 4 missions at Escape MKE.

My family and I had an amazing and fun time on Fathers Day at Escape MKE! We will definitely be back for another mission!

Just finished doing the Crofts Museum mission with Precious as the game guide. Absolutely amazing experience! Precious was very helpful when we ran into problems and did a fantastic job of staying in character at the beginning of the mission.

We came from out of state and were looking for some air-conditioned fun on a hot muggy day. Our group ranged from aged 12-53 and all of us had a great time and contributed to solving the puzzles. The James Bomb room was just the right amount of challenge and full of fun surprises. Our host, Trish, was friendly and helpful.

This was absolutely so much fun!! Totally worth the money and I want to do this again ASAP! Great place to go with a group of friends!

Signage at the location would have helped, but maybe locating the building and getting in is part of the challenge. The space was clean and organized and the guide/facilitator played his role well. We did the Croft room, which was listed as the easier room, and it was very basic inside compared to other Escape Rooms from other companies. However, this could be part of why it was labeled as easy as there was less to distract you from the clues. The guide was very helpful with clues throughout our challenge to keep us moving. Overall a lot of fun and would try another room!

We love Escape Rooms, but this one fell a little short. This challenge required some physical dexterity and, after speaking to the manager, this will be posted on the online description. Also, one of the props was screwed in too tightly so that we couldnt unscrew it and thus missed a clue.

We had a great time at our date night. if we wouldve had 10 more mins we wouldve finished and it was only 2 of us. Precious was the BEST!!!

I loved this! This was a lot of fun. We went one day and did the Croft challenge. It was OK, but my friends wanted to go again right away so we came back the next day and did Dr. K. Completely different experience for me!! I loved the challenge of Dr. K!! If the other rooms are like this, Id be trying to go back every day! Cant wait until they make a new, harder room. Great stuff! Highly recommended.

I have only done one other but this mission was fun. It had good challenges and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning.

I have been to a couple of escape rooms. I often find them fun, but always feel like their execution is a little simplistic. From the get go Escape MKE really immerses you in the scenario. I found their point system and recap to be quite refreshing. Sherrick was an amazing host! We finished Mr. Duprees Office, which is supposed to be an easier one, and immediately wanted to go through all of their other scenarios. PLEASE dont miss out on going to Escape MKE.

We visted Escape MKE as a family event with siblings (we are all 40 years and over) and had a blast! Berlyn, our mission specialist, was great with mission instructions and setting the mood for adventure. The 60 minutes flew by quickly and we were down to the final minutes but solved the mystery after some quick hints by our specialist. Highly recommend this bonding experience for families, friends or any combination of people who can have fun, think together but not take things too seriously. GREAT TIME!

We thought that the James Bomb room was challenging, engaging and fun for our family of 10. We really liked our host. He was funny and super nice!

Booked a private room for 5 in the Dr. K escape room. They were running a little behind and needed time for setting up. Well worth the wait!The back story was typical, save the world from a virus. The room itself was an amazing puzzle! Approximately 60+ steps without the “how many locks and keys can you open?” Great use of items and props to make the experience even more enjoyable. A few of the puzzles are very tricky and technical but that makes this room the best around with a low success rate. Be warned, this is a difficult and challenging room for the more experienced escapers. They also use a unique way of scoring your success or lack there of.
