For anyone looking to just play simple catch or want to bat some balls but don’t have enough friends available to form teams this is the place to be! There are two netted areas complete with a pitcher’s net. This allows for one person to pitch while the other bats without having to worry about running across the park to retrieve the ball(s) each time. There’s enough wide open grass field to play catch, throw a frisbee, sit on a blanket and enjoy a picnic or some rays.
Played basketball here as a kid so, I brought my Grandchildren here to show them where Grandpa once shot around and learned the fundamentals.
Very nice, peaceful park right in the middle of my busy neighborhood. Great trails and views of the river.
Nice place to play ball but in the summer its best to spray your self with bug spray or youll risk bringing back bugs like ticks, flies, bed bugs and fleas. Sincerely, spray your stuff.
The tennis courts can be closed so your doggie can be off leash to run around.
Need to mow the lawn...
Its a good park only thing is that there is no playground for kids too play
Played highschool baseball herr, and enjoyed many summers here
Our school does football here.... nice area only downfall is not much parking but as a football mom love the coffee shop across the street
