Let me start with the parking. The parking around here is pod and limited to 3 hours . If you don’t move your vehicle after 3 hours they will give you a ticket. If you watching movie you can’t come in the middle to move your vehicle. The seats of the theatre is classic. It’s not comfortable at all comparing to other theaters. Employees are friendly. Need some improvement in video and sound quality.

There is nothing trashy in this town. I love going to my hometown theater. It is clean, convenient, and never overcrowded. I always have a great experience here.

Nice, small theater to catch a quick movie. My family and I attended a matinee here and it was a pleasant experience..parking sucks because the meter only allows 2 hours. But overall the theater was nice, friendly and clean

My first time visiting this establishment was recently when I went to see Parasite on V-Day with my folks. When comparing it to similar venues I am more familiar w like Cranford and Rialto Theaters (Westfield) I would say that it was definitely the cleanest and appeared to be better maintained.From the entrance to the lobby down the hallway to the theater and finally the bathroom I did not feel as if the building was falling apart around me. The auditorium size was probably no different than average, however, it did feel slightly bigger and it seemed that the seats were kept in much better quality (no rips or guts busting from them).The concession area appeared clean and tended to as there were no lines and the young staff that was employed looked focused and ready to serve rather than staring at their phone screens. The bathroom was soiled with splashed water and pieces of paper scattered but maintained in one area which I would expect from a busy/frequently used restroom; nothing too off putting there.The lobby seemed to be equipped with electronic kiosks from which you could order and receive tickets much like the ones found in bigger venues such as AMC, Cinemark, and Regal. I had never seen those in a more private theater before.Overall I would say that it was a positive and entertaining experience and I would not mind visiting again.

Didnt even close the door to the theater when the movie started. Infuriating. You could hear people walking to another theater as well as the other movie when their door was opened.The seats were good, but the floor was sticky and dirty. Not many seats.We wont return.

Just a terrible experience at this theatre. I tripped at the bottom of the stairs to go up and almost knocked myself on the head. The plastic beading that holds the carpet was shaky and the reason why I fell. No one raised a finger to help me even and the crowd was so snooty. Apart from that incident the theatre was so hot and humid. It was an uncomfortable and nasty experience. Last time that I’ll ever visit Millburn Bow tie cinema

Went to see YESTERDAY at MILLBURN BOW TIE theater. Must have been 78 degrees in theater. Asked the manager before movie started to put up AC and he said he would. Witnessed a very destressed pregnant women in an uncomfortable movie. If the AC was broken it should have been noted before buying a ticket. I want a refund! The least they should have done was give out free water. How inconsiderate and cheap.

Old school place- be aware there are no reclining seats here but a very nice throw back ambiance. Comfortable and clean seats. Easy to get in and buy tickets. 4 stars because they left the door propped open the first hour of our movie (and the seats face the door) this is also distracting anytime someone gets up to use the bathroom.

Love Bow ties reminds me of being a kid! Hate the reservation places, i dont need to schedule watching a movie.

Incredible theatre! The seats are more comfortable than my living roon couch. No matter who sits in front of you, you will always get a good view of the screen because the seats are elevated. The surround sound sounds great in any location in the theatre, unlike some others Ive been to.

Not being nostalgic, but it still is a good movie cinema, decent prices which are 8.50 per child, and 11.50 per adult. The theaters are also decent. Snacks arent that bad. The movie selection combines popular new releases with sometimes movies that are limited, which for the most part are some of the years best films. However, one problem that I might have is that sometimes films like Doctor Strange, which many people said that it was great in 3-d, however this cinema doesnt fro the most part doesnt play that many 3-d films. Apart, from that I still would advice you that you should go to this theater, if you are near it.

Great place for a movie night in millburn nj.

My favorite place to see a movie. Friendly staff and midweek, no crowds. Metered parking available on street or in town parking garage. Love this place because of the tiered seating. Well padded seats, good sound system and decent size screen. Plenty of dining choices in Millburn before of after the movie.

There is nothing popping on the screen

The Man at the ticket box office was kind of rude. I handed him my credit card nicely in his hand & he returned it back to me by placing it on the counter.really?Not to mentioned the Theaters room was so small that I had the feeling that I was seating almost on the other customers lap....very small place to move & uncomfortable.

They have comfier chairs now so that is a plus. Pretty typical town theater but I still enjoyed it. If you want a more chain feel aka bigger rooms, dine in, then this is not for you. Good for low key casual movies.

Not overpriced for seniors. Courteous staff. The best seats just like home. Plenty of restaurants and little shops along the street and town.

Love small theaters!

It’s pretty nice for such a small theater. Main complaint is the staff there. At one point I had to stand at the counter missing part of the movie to get a refill on my drink and the woman there ignored me for about 5 minutes until I said something.

This is a really good theater. I went there to watch Deadpool 2. I really liked the seats. I usually look for comfortable seats and was disappointed with many AMC theaters near me. So I was impressed with the seating here. They are very comfortable.

For being understaffed on a big movie night, they handled the large black panther crowd decently well. Good, small theater. No BS like at West Orange AMC dine in theater. Just seats and movies, the way it should be.

Relatively large theaters with new chairs. Two of the 4 theaters are stadium-seating which is a plus. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the fact that there aren’t reserved seats at this theater and so you have to get there early if you plan on seeing a blockbuster.

The Bow Tie cinema in the middle of Millburn is nice. Parking is fairly annoying, but the popcorn is good and they let you butter it yourself, if you wish. Seats are nice, but not great.

Its a pretty small theater with stadium seating, which is nice because youll be able to get a great view of the movie no matter where you sit. The snacks are expensive, though, so be prepared to dish out an extra $5-10 if you want to eat during the movie.

Pretty standard selection as far as movie theaters go. Tickets and snacks are pretty pricey compared to Maplewood, so Id recommend Maplewood over it. Unfortunately the same movies are almost never shown at both.

Small movie theater, but you can go relax watch a movie without it being over crowded. And where its located, you have other options to go other places after .

My wife and i thought the theater was very clean, reasonably priced, comfortable temperature and perfect sound level. Its over an hour away but well be back for a date night dinner and movie.
