I have a habit of visiting bars alone and meet all kinds of people along the way. This place might be the best dive bar in the Salt Lake valley, youd be lucky to stumble across this motley crew as I have. Cool staff, and down to earth patrons. Nobody is a stranger here as far as I can tell, they welcome you to their table like youre family.
My brother and I came to check this place out. When we walked in we thought the place was sick! Pool tables, karaoke stage etc. until we had to deal with the grumpy and rude bartender who paid no attention to us for ten minutes so I had to walk up to the bar and order. The place maybe had 6 other people in it. We tried to ask questions about the bar and events they have there and she acted like we were such an inconvenience to have to answer our questions. We were so disappointed in our experience here.
Fun and live. All ages.
Total locals joint my first time in 2 years and got cut off after 3 beers. Tried to reason with bar tenders but was ultimately denied alcohol based on their best judgment. If you know these people on a personal level its the perfect bar ...... if you are new to their seen expect to be taken advantage of
Horrible service, dirty and have to beg to order a drink. And the dj doesnt play any songs you want to listen to, and very disrespectful. This bar needs new staff. Very disappointing
Just an ok experience. Our friends got there 10 minutes before us and no one greeted them or asked if they wanted a drink. We had to ask the poker dealer (who was a really nice guy) how to get food. You had to really work for it to get a drink and food. My burger was just ok. My hubby really liked his. Chili fries were fine. Drinks were a little light on alcohol, but they were surprisingly cheap. $28 for 2 mixed drinks, 2 beers, and 2 burgers & fries. The music was too loud - this was before the DJ started. It is a bar full of middle aged and older regulars. I doubt we will go again.
So laid back and full of fun people
Cold beer. Great service. Bartenders must have ears in the back of their head. Great place to hang out.
Back in the day 3Alarm was a jump in spot. Packed. Beautiful ladies Damn near every night was there. They advertised on TV, yeah it was a bit on the raunchy side but fun as hell. Now they do no advertising except in CityWeekly. Service has really fallen off. I dont know if Jack still owns the place or passed on & left it to his kids. But they need to get with the times and do something to bring that place back to life!!!! Im being nice with 2stars.
Love the bartenders and staff! Very sweet and attentive.
Fun times time to go back for another visit
Love this place. Friendly staff and friendly faces. Drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is what u make of it. I always have a blast so I give you all 5 stars
Three Alarm is pretty much hole in the wall and your typical crowd is like a crowd you will find at club 90 so older but more down to earth and relaxed kind of people. The staff is usually pretty good and their drinks are fairly priced but If your just 21 this place is not the bar for you if your older and looking for a place to call home its worth a shot!
I dont know. This place is a little rough for me and my manicured finger nails. The service is fine, the atmosphere is a little dark, a lot masculine with a lack of estrogen around other than the servers. You hear men in groups talking about the bodies of the only female patron in the place as she walks by. If youre in dire need of a drink and this place is close, its not horrible. But for my personal tastes Id probably head elsewhere next time. I do recommend the taco truck out back though. That gets five stars.
The bartender, Bruce loves the regulars, ignores the walk ins. Blind and deaf. Cant get his attention for a drink.
This is one of my favorite places to hangout! The staff is always friendly and I know they care about their customers and make sure e anyone is safe and sound and having a great time! Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays are karaoke nights and live DJ on Friday & Sat nights. There is poker all the time too with amazing dealers!Sunday karaoke is with Robert!Tuesday is with KJ Panda (Rylee)Thursday is with Jeremiah!
They have the worst dinner options and taste. I am guessing friends may have written positive reviews, but my experience was horrible. The chicken pot pie is like a can of salted cream soup with lots of flour and corn starch and a few pieces of chicken along with a few tiny cubes of potatoes. The half baked raw flour crust was a bland sticky cover. It came with a side salad which was an ok side salad and room temperature blue cheese dressing. It was served with stale burnt bland bread. The hamburger was grizzled with strings of fat. The fries were so salty it tasted awful. Service was below average being served room temperature water with no ice. If you order a soda, you will get a can..no ice, no glass, and no straw. The dinner menu is small and you cannot order of the big board unless you order a dinner...so ok to order a lunch item of the board only if you order a dinner item BUT no lunch item...though everyone who was coming in wanted hot dogs or sandwiches..go figure, they were not getting it even though that seemed to be the demand. I would say go to Safeway and get a can of cream chicken soup and heat it up in the microwave then throw a white piece of bread on top and that will not only be much better but have way less salt than their chicken pot pie. Go elsewhere..this restaurant is a flop.
The clocks are set ahead 10 minutes so people cant get a drink for last call. They wont let you play pool after 1 am either. Terrible customer service.Edit: The tall, bald bartender decided to help himself to an $8 tip on my friends $20 tab. He took the slip away before my friend had a chance to sign it (he got his money back though). Ive known the people that run karaoke there for several years and so Ive been there well over a dozen times prior to that night. However, after such inexcusably bad service, I wont waste my time or money on this place ever again.
Decent hole in the wall bar. Not a bad place to play pool.
Love the night life here, karaoke is always a hit every night, the staff are fun and helpful, everyone that comes into this bar are mostly friendly.
Absolutely love it. Food to die for, and an adorable cocktails... What more could you ask for? You!!?
Great bar with affordable drinks. The regulars and staff are awesome people.
Best food for your buck great Garlic Burgers and on Saturdays best Smoked Brisket Sandwich and Smoked Pork Sandwich around
Love this place. I always have a good time
This places has great karaoke and very awesome bar staff
Great little dive bar, with a really good selection on tap.
Great place to just relax and have a few drinks with friends!
I have mixed feelings about this place. I am a young patron (22 years old) and I look young for my age as well. The first time I tried this place, I was parking and wasnt sure if it was legal to park there. An employee was taking out the trash so I asked him if it was ok. He replied ya you can park there if you are 21. Me and my friend brushed this off and went inside. When we were being idd at the door, the door man said you kids dont look a day over 21 then proceeded to look at our ids for a good 10mins. When we finally got in, we ordered a beer and got asked for id AGAIN by the bar tender and then once more by the manager. The crowd is nothing but sad middle aged men Id say in the 45 to 65 year range. The second (and last) time I went here, the door man was EXTREMELY rude to me when I showed him my ID and then refused to take my friends temporary paper ID. He not only refused it but was a total a**hole to us. I have never been treated so poorly and felt so unwelcome at a bar just because Im young. From now on, I will be taking my business down the street to cheers for you. The staff is awesome and the crowd is great. If you are under 40 years old, I would avoid this bar. Its a shame because it is actually a cool dive bar. The employees just ruin it. Total old person bar.
Best bar in utah hands down that staff and the drinks and the people who go there are always top notch!
Fun dive bar with poker and smoking patio.
Official home of Tottenham Hotspur Salt Lake City!!!!!
I love this place!
Not a bad place
The staff is awesome!
Friendly bartenders. Always willing to create something I like and cater to my preferences!
It seems the only people in this bar live there
Kinda a dive, not great prices
Another great bar
Took my bill before I had filled it out then gave themselves a 40% tip
Not fun
So I dont go here but I know its packed, the secret is the tacos in the parking lot you want food defiantly go here
Went there two weekends ago. Had their house drink Captain F**k Me Up and man does it live up to its name. My suggestion is to get it when you get there dont save it for last...... Totally worth the hangover the next day though.
