Such a fun date night! They have several ideas for games so its not just keeping score. The employee we met, Eli, was knowledgeable and a great teacher---we were able to pick it up quickly and had a great time. Would be fun in a group too. Note: Wear close-toed shoes.

Our group had an absolute blast at R.M.A.T.! The throwing bays were clean and well organized. Axes were well maintained (sharp and the handles werent held together with tape like other places). The targets were new, not completely destroyed (like other places) and we felt safe the entire time. Id highly recommend R.M.A.T. for any corporate, team or group event! Total blast!

Our family has been to Rocky Mountain Axe several times and we have loved it! The staff is awesome at helping newbies as well as those more experienced and you can tell they really want you to have the best time possible! I especially like the various games and challenges (personal favorite is the football game) that you can do with axes! Will definitely keep going and recommend to anyone!

This was are first endeavor into the axe throwing world, and we had a blast. Place was well lit, well ventilated, and are up to code with safety. This is a fun activity for the adults. Will recommend it to anyone who wants to try throwing some axes.

I wanted to do something different for my husbands birthday party this year, and so decided to try an axe-throwing party. Most of us in attendance had no experience in axe throwing, but the knowledgeable instructors showed us what to do, and continued to help us as needed throughout the party. In no time we were all having fun, with many throwing like pros by the end of the evening. We were able to bring in our own food, so no one went hungry. This was a birthday party my husband will never forget, and so I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Axe Throwing to anyone wanting to have a fun and unique party.

Nice cozy ax throwing place. Bays are nice with well marked lines and a fence between the them. The staff was polite and helpful.

So much fun.... who knew? It gets super competitive and I feel like a Lumberjack when it hits the bullseye. Great music good snacks.

Rocky Mountain Axe Throwing is a blast! I went there with a group of friends and we had a great time. Our instructor Eli was very helpful and by the end of the night we were all pros. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good time!

It was a fun environment! We arrived late because we got lost, but the staff member still allowed us to have a full hour. He was great and taught us skills to throw the axe.

We were there yesterday for my daughters 29th Birthday and had a great time! We had fun playing games using #29 as our points focus. The next day, Paul, the owner, was exceptionally responsive and helpful in trying to find a missing item. This was above and beyond and very much appreciated. Im confident well visit Rocky MTN Axe Throwing again in the near future!

Amazing place, truly a hidden gem. Was going to go to the axe arena but they were booked for the night found this place and I must say it was awesome. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Clean establishment. Fair pricing, safe and amazing instructions on how to throw the axe. Was hitting the bullseye by the end of the hour. Thought we were going to be tired but wanted to just keep going. Great with a group and the enthusiasm from other people was amazing. Would reccomend then to anyone.

We went in unaware of the closed toe shoe policy. We get told we cant stay, but low and behold there is someone currently throwing with open toe shoes. Hypocritical much. Wont see me there ever again.

These guys hosted an amazing experience for our holiday work party. Some of us sucked at axe-throwing... No problem, our hosts took time to personally teach those of who were struggling and make it fun and enjoyable for us.For those who had the knack, they crafted multiple competitions and kept the energy up the whole time. We all had a blast. Definitely recommend!

Great location and people. We had a wonderful time at Rocky Mountain Axe Throwing. Some of us had never thrown a single axe before. I was taught this was never an option in axe safety. After tonight I am now realizing how much fun throwing axes can be, I struggled at first to make it stick in the target with the help of the wonderful staff by the end of the evening I was part of the winning team nailing a few bullseyes. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Axe Throwing.

Last night I came in to learn how to throw for the first time. The young man that helped my wife and I, Stone, was excellent. He showed us how to throw and then continually checked in to mentor my wife who was struggling with sticking the axe. The atmosphere was very nice, quite energetic and fun. Will definitely be recommending to everyone and returning soon! Keep up the good work!

We brought a group of young men here and had a great time! Honestly I wasn’t really looking forward to it but we set up a double elimination tournament and everyone walked away knowing each other better and happy that they had come to the event. The boys all said “that was so fun!”

So much fun. The person there spent time helping each of us figure out our throw and showed us games to keep it interesting.

Great experience with my coworkers! They coached those of us that were less adept at throwing axes and having real improvement and successes made the experience much more enjoyable!The experience was made even better with fun games and competitions that they suggested, I never knew there could be so many ways to compete with Axe Throwing.

We hosted our work team builder here and had an amazing time! We had some last minute changes and it was met with optimism and understanding. Our team had a blast, the hosts were gracious, fun and instructive! We will definitely be back!

This axe throwing place was awesome! We had a really fun time!! My friends and I went in a big group and they were really good at showing us lots of fun games and they were so nice! I would highly recommend it!

Update: Changed to 5 stars after management reached out to me. Original review: Rocky Mountain Axe has good prices, but poor customer service. The two young men working tonight were inattentive and frequently on their phones. Our instruction for a group of seven with five newbie axe throwers lasted barely a minute. The place was packed but employees were more busy talking to each other than checking in on customers. Other reviews seem positive, so maybe tonight was an off night. However next time I go axe throwing, I will be choosing a different venue.

My friends and I came here for a dance activity and It was SO MUCH FUN. the guy working there helped us out a ton and taught us competitive games to play. We were there for about an hour and a half and it’s fast moving so there isn’t a lot of waiting which is so nice! Definitely worth the price and I will be coming here a lot more!

Made reservations online paid and get there to be told we cant throw due to no closed toe shoes. But yet there was a girl with open toe shoes throwing axe as we was waiting to at the front desk. Very disappointing and wont be going there again!

This place is amazing!! We took a big group for a date. The place had lots of space. The two owners were there and gave us great suggestions for different games, and also little tips on how to throw the axes. Very clean, and the equipment was in great shape! I would recommend to everyone! I already planned a day to take my whole family back!

My school had our staff Christmas party at Rocky Mountain Axe and it was an absolute blast. It was fun, the staff was amazing. Its gonna be hard to come up with a better activity next year. I cant recommend it enough.

Took a large group here for a corporate activity. It was very well received by participants. After everyone got the hang of throwing there was a variety of games and tournaments. This is a fun place.

This is such a great activity for building confidence! Initially a little nervous about hurling axes for fun, but the jitters dissolved, as I experienced the safe throwing environment, the helpful instruction, and the pure delight of hucking an axe towards a wood target and eventually getting it to stick. The space is so accommodating to big groups and allows you to socialize with the people you came with. Fun activity for a date, family night out, group activity, and just about any other outing. They also allow you to bring your own food which is a plus!!! Love it and will definitely be returning!!

This place is great. Not only do they have a nice safe setup but they really take the time to help you learn the techniques and give you pointers on what you can improve if you want. Can’t wait to go again.
