I had a really good time! This was my first time roller blading and it was a blast. After going through the learning curves I was able to go smoothly around the rink. It’s a big rink and allows for a lot of movement room. The owner also had some fun games every once in a while that gave prizes to the winner. Anyone can have fun here beginners and professionals. There’s snacks to eat, drinks to get, and it’s a great place!

NEGATIVE 5 STAR REVIEW! GET CHECKED FOR MOLD EXPOSURE! Just went here for my cousins birthday party! The woman who runs the place kicked us out after an hour after we paid for 3 becuase it didnt work out for her becuase she had to turn on the heat. We asked for a refund and she refused. She ONLY TAKES CASH SO MY 100 IS LOST! She proceeded to say she did my family a favor for even opening. The floor wasnt even suitable for skating and there was so much dust everywhere! I honestly cant believe that we were even trying to be nice about the fact that the place looked abandoned. If you werent asthmatic before you will be after visiting here. The Woman was very rude and left my cousin crying on her birthday. Not only a WASTE of money, it was a TRAUMATIC experience. The Health Department and Better Business Bureau will have more of a word Im sure.

Place is cash only and a little smaller than roller rinks. Located at the back of a building off the main street. Good music, fun games, Id come back for sure.

Small place... equivalent to a duck pin bowling spot. Not for ADULTS or older teens looking for fun. Floor is an issue...doesnt feel like its a welcoming format for New beginners.

This place needs a serious remodeling. I took my three year old here and at most skating rinks, they have a walker for the younger children to learn to skate, this place did not my son was too scared to skate. I came with a friend and her son was also to scared to skate . We were there for less than 10 min and the owner refused to give my friend her money back even after she saw the screaming scared toddler.

Kids have a lot of fun! The game they play with all skaters is fun.

Time travel back to the 80s with this awesome spot! Owner is so great and we love the open skate on the weekends!

Fun spot but the owner doesn’t let you enjoy she’s extremely rude and after everything you pay for a private party she still rushes you out my daughter loved it but unfortunately we won’t be back their ! Definitely needs new management and it can be an amazing spot !!

Truly a fun time. I brought my Doughter and her friends. No worries about obscene music with curses coming on or anything inappropriate. The games were so fun!!The owner is pleasant and gives great customer service. The place is old and needs a few repairs in some parts. Overall the experience we had was so great we don’t mind it. Just want to keep going and contribute so that she can keep this Gem open for us to keep enjoying. The owner creates a great environment in the place. God bless her.

I just had my daughters birthday party today. It was the worst experience and I did not enjoy the birthday party at all. The lady rushed the entire thing and is pretty rude when she talks to you. She turned the air conditioners off half hour before the party ended and everyone was drenched because it was super hot today! It also smells really moldy.. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN OR HAVE A BIRTHDAY PARTY THERE AGAIN!

Old school roller skating hidden away on Main Street! The owner/operator is amazing. The kids and adults are always having a blast. Very reasonably priced. Birthday parties too. Check it out and lace up! Support an old time treasure.

Nice little place to spend a couple hours. There are some things that could be improved but overall not bad. Not really busy so its good for those that are learning to skate.

Havent skated since I was kid so thought Id go with friends and take my kids, it was a fun experience but beware the skate rink floor is quite wonky in a lot of places and your skates tend to snag up.

Its a very fun place to go with your kids..The owner is great but...I think they should have Air condition instead of fans that is only blowing hot air!!! My daughter loved it but she almost passed out cause it was to hot in there and we where only there for an hour!! I still think Ron a roll in Vernon CT is better!!!

The website schedule said that the rink was open, but when I arrived, no one was there and the sign said closed. I proceeded to take my daughter the next day and encountered the same situation, except this time, I decided to call. The woman said that they open at 6, but by that time it was 6:30....she put me on hold but somehow we got disconnected.I decided to wait about 10 mins before calling her back, but she didn’t answer. I waited outside for about 20 minutes to see if anyone would show up before finally leaving.I have skated here before and had no problems but it seems that the establishment is not consistently open and completely dependent on how many people show up. My daughter was rightfully disappointed and confused as to why we were only sometimes allowed to skate despite the publicly posted schedule.This is completely unacceptable and not conducive to people looking to actually improve their skills or teach their children to skate indoors.YES the place is super dusty, YES it seriously needs to be updated and remodeled, YES it is the same price as larger more updated rinks, YES it smells like mildew and YES it’s likely you will be kicked out early if not enough people show up on that particular day.(which I have also experienced) Despite all of those things, I have never felt the need to leave a cautionary warning because Im not much of a complainer.The owner had always been very nice overall, but for me it’s not worth the trouble when simply trying to look for a fun bonding experience to enjoy with my daughter.Proceed at your own risk...you have been warned.

This place is adorably retro with fun lights and good music. The attendant s very nice and the shares were in good shape. But there was no ac, and although they were running a ton of fans it was still very very hot and smelled really really musty. The floor also was not plank wood floorboards like other rinks we have been to, but some sort of cork or textured lineoleum tiles which did not make for smooth skating.

The Middletown roller rink is one of the better-places for kids to come to hang out in groups or for birthday parties. During the midnight on main event their open all night long.They run roller games and events like the cube game, adding just a little bit extra excitement in the small roller rink, it was rather crowded the last time I showed up and yet it still had the same feel it did when I was young surprisingly

The place is a bit run down. I paid to have my daughters 8th party here. My family and I were standing around and a mouse runs out in front of us. After speaking to the owner my husband and I found out that the party who arrived before us had 3 mice running around. The owner tried to say that the mice ran through the door that day but judging by how poorly the venue was taken care of, I doubt that...I will not be coming here again. Thankfully my daughter still had a good time.

Good place to rent skates or blades and skate with your friends for about an hour. Kinda small, but for a local roller rink its great!

The place smelt like mildew and my mom had to complain to the worker who was there. my mom told me the worker was very rude to her. also, the place left me sick and since i cant breath out my nose, i had to breath through my mouth and the place left me feeling sick to my stomach and it left a weird taste in my mouth. the skates didnt even work, and i had no fun because i couldnt even skate. we had to drive for almost two hours just to get there, and then its all just a waste of time because the place is a dump! i dont get how the health inspectors didnt close down the place, yet closed down other places that arent even that bad. the place was horrendous. bad service, and the bathroom didnt even have a door. you just walk into the bathroom and the stalls arent even tall enough, so you can literally see the face of the person in the stall. the place looks awful and run down from the outside. it said it was closed on the door, but inside it was open. it gave me and my mom a really bad feeling while we were skating. overall, it was just awful. also, it looked like the place was just painted brick with a wooden floor with just a bunch of tables. then the rink wasnt even fun, it wasnt even big. i didnt like the music, and the place looked like it was just decorated with christmas decorations. it is JULY. christmas was a long time ago, yet they still have christmas decorations. plus, there were NO REFUNDS. so my mom couldnt get her money back. i hated this place, wouldnt come here again

The floors feel like train tracks and the lady that works there yells at you if you fall. 10/10 do not recommend. kicked us out after only an hpur with no refund because nobody showed up to skate.

Very sweet place. recommend inline skates and it was much easier then regular skates. I have not skated in 40 years. Trust me it took some time but I did it! HahaPlace is Old but nostalgic. Owner is sweet.

This place is a roller rink people.... chill out! What is everyone expecting, the Hilton??! Was here today with a group of us (7 adults) and our kids (8 kids from 3yo to 13yo). It was perfect. Pretty current music, some organized “games”, and the woman who was there (the owner? Manager?) was extra friendly and hands on. She helped the kids learn and took a genuine interest in everyone’s entertainment.

A nice small place to have some fun and listen to some good music.

Its been there forever and it is largely unchanged in the 38 years Ive been alive. Very nostalgic with Americana decor. Not the cleanest place youve ever been but nothing to wrinkle your nose over. Extremely family friendly with accessible parking. Beginner skates as well as regular ones. Cash only but there are ATMs if you forget.

If cheese stimulates the mind like a bottle of chunky milk, then the stars may align within your inner self. Buttered biscuits for breakfast are always good on Tuesday. Food for thought.

Yikes... I will start by saying that I had a lot of fun here, however I was not impressed by this venue at all. Very worn down - clearly no one is maintaining the place. Ceiling tiles are boarded up/falling out, there are holes in the wall, and dont get me started on the bathroom. The entire place just needs a LOT of TLC. Owner does not take credit cards, and when we went to the ATM to get cash, she didnt even have change for us. I love the concept of an indoor roller skating rink (it took me back in time) but the execution was so so poor here. It was just... okay.

My daughters and their friends had a great time..me personally the place is very small. I remember when I was a kid we use to go to one in Plainville and it was 7 times bigger and had a ton of games and food stands. But the kids enjoyed it and thats the only thing that matters

(DONT GO HERE NOT WORTH THE MONEY)Old looking and musky it just smelled really bad. The lady working there was screaming at someone on the phone most of the time we were there. Prices high and to top it all off the lady kicked us out because it wasnt worth staying open for 4 people but we payed for a 4 hour session and 2 of the 4 people didnt even skate because they were alergic to the mold and gosh knows what else in there. We only skated for about a hour yet we payed for 4 hours.this place doesnt even deserve a 1 star rating!

I planned a date here with my girlfriend and got to the rink around 6:00pm when the rink opens. We, along with a crowd of people, waited an hour and thirty minutes and no one showed up to open the doors. I called the number on the door and was told by an employee that the owner was refusing to pick up her phone and that it was not worth waiting for her to come.

Me and my daughter wanted to come to skate, said it was open but when we got to the rink, it was closed and we had driven for half an hour for no purpose. Don’t waist your time here

They have a brand new floor as of mid October 2013. The interior is like stepping back in time 30 or 40 years. It is inexpensive and children love it. They have 2 options regular skates or inline. Ours that they provided were in good workable condition.

Skated there over 30 years ago competitively and judged many figure and dance events

This place smells horrible! The owner was rude! She wasnt friendly at all. The skates were in really bad shape. The actual skating floor was uneven and partially destroyed. There were holes in the wall from people crashing their skates into it, but it was covered in grey duct tape. Just a bad experience! My kids werent happy at all, and neither was I. Condemn it, or..tear down and rebuild, but they wont get a penny from me again.

I was thrilled to discover this place existed. Its like going back in time to 1984. The only problem we had is the VERY strong mildew smell throughout the building.

I hadnt Skated in Over 20 Years and I just found out that this place existed and we had a GREAT time. Its very Old Fashioned. The woman who operates the place was VERY nice and accomodating to us. The Music was great and the skates were in fine shape. I will keep coming back for sure!
