A very comprehensive history of the bicycle - a traveling exhibition in September 2016.

Theres always something interesting to see at The Henry Sheldon Museum but you need to know that theres a very small admission fee to see any of their exhibits unless you are a member of the Museum itself in which case the admission fee is waived.

Inexpensive slice of history. Volunteer was incredibly sweet and enjoyable to talk to as she was very passionate about her job. I didnt enjoy the local artist displaying their stuff in the middle of the museum and felt it was very unnecessary from a patrons perspective. Definitely worth stopping in for only $5.00 and enjoy the surrounding shops

Was in Middlebury for a wedding and stopped in to the museum on a walk around town before the festivities. The museum was adorable. There was an antique train display that was pretty cool, and all of the other random historical items were interesting to see and read about. The gallery portion of the museum was also really neat. My husband and I loved the artwork. The staff was also extremely warm and friendly!

Nice display of local residents who served in WW I .

A wonderful, secluded, and yet conpletely in-touch museum focusing on the beauty, splendor, and vibrancy of Addison County history. Focused on both public exhibits and active archiving projects, its a gem within the green tapestry of Vermonts gorgeous landscape. The curators are engaging and informed, filled with both a passion for their work.
