Really easy hike for young kids. The boardwalks are in really good shape, and provide amazing views. You feel surrounded by nature, which is so relaxing. There is a play area, but I think its meant to be closed due to covid. The mastadon bones are a big hit with my toddler though! I was unsure where to park at the eastern trailhead because it looked like residences, but the western trailhead has a very definite parking lot and porta potty. There are some cool little adventures just off the path to explore too, in the woods (for little kids mostly - the fallen trees make awesome pics though!)
Loved it! Although it was 90° when we went it was still a very good time. We stumbled upon a baby deer (we didnt touch him/ her just took a few photos) and I spotted a baby frog. The only problem we had was the wooden bridges covered with bumblebee bees. Im not afraid of them but they were everywhere. They dont bother you much but they do fly at you and scare you. The view from the bees bridge is gorgeous though!
Nice to bike thru if people dont walk their dogs on both sides if the path! Use your proper side!!
A somewhat interactive walk, lots of info provided along the trail as to nature and area history. Not a long trail, a nice well maintained one for all the family to enjoy.
Beautiful place for a walk.
Awesome and refreshing view
Well maintained walking path with views of Lake Abram marsh in the boardwalk as well as wooded areas.
Part of the Lake to Lake trail, Lake Abram Metropolitan Reservation is a nice stretch of scenic green spaces. It is tucked away from the main road which makes the walk all the more peaceful. The trail is well maintained and opens up into a wide bridge and viewing area. Great for a run or casual walk!
Great path to walk my dog . shaded areas benches. To sit on along the way
The trail ended way before the map says it does and it goes right into traffic
The perch dinners are fantastic
Great place to go for a walk.
Beautiful park. Easy walking trail. Saw several bikers and joggers. Nice, quiet. Definitely recommended.
I walked the Lake to Lake Trail. Beautiful nature preserve and well kept grounds. No running water, being plenty. Outhouse style bathrooms at each end of trail
I like how nice and peaceful that it feels
Less than a mile but youll stop at least a half dozen times to take in the beauty.
One of my favorite walking trails in the area. The agriculture there is awesome. Has a small park for the children at one end with swings and a slide.
Such a beautiful area to walk
Quiet. Good walking trail.
Nice hiking trail
The path is very nice. It was a nice walk for my dog however there wasnt much visible from the path. There was a very nice overlook on a bridge, but other than that, just a nice path to walk on.
Good place to walk.
We rode are bikes and a turtle and a water snake. Also met two new friends.
Gorgeous, challenging bike trail. Feels as though youre in the everglades!
I was with .....
I love the Lake to Lake Trail, which runs north from Lake Isaacs to Eastland Road. Lovely wetlands, well maintained paved trail with scenic bridges. About 5 miles.
Great for a short run/walk and get some fresh air in a green belt. I gave only 4 stars because its a relatively small area and not connected to the other rec areas.
Love the wide path
Serene surroundings. A little kids park with a small number of swings, dinosaurs fossils area; some picnic tables as well. Wildlife habitat not so visible though.
Wheres the lake? Yet an impressive reed expanse.
Small but great little park
Awesome trail, beautiful! Several pokestops and gyms
Nice little stroll after a meal/ movie nearby- knock those calories back off
