I don’t see why this place has any bad reviews, it’s the best gym in northeast Ohio and the amount of equipment it’s offers is like no other. There is no wait for machines because there’s 2 more on just about every floor so that’s an upside and I’m not sure why I’m seeing anything about equipment not working when I have been going here for the past year and have never seen one thing that I might need to use not working. This place is awesome and for $50 a month that feels like nothing if you take advantage of it and go 4 - 6 times a week.
Simply the best gym around, Ive been coming here for 20 years and will be coming here until Im a geriatric. The owner is amazing and sincerely wants to provide the best experience for all those who attend. Kudos to her for all of the amazing changes and new high quality equipment shes constantly adding. Facility is always clean and well cared for, staff is friendly, my daughter loves coming during child care hours and always has a great time. Im a proud member!
A great club with all the extras! Look forward to the reopening!
Ive been a member for 3 years now and like the place. Im 60 and it has everything I need to workout or take in a sauna or steam room. The addition of the golf simulator is a plus! They are helpful and always cleaning the areas. Its a above average price membership but you get your moneys worth I feel.
Clean and up to date equipment.
Very big and clean. I went here for a aerial hoop class. So much fun! Great workout.
Well, they filled in the pool, which is the main reason I even went there. Who wants to pay $50 per month for now, pretty much what something like Planet Fitness offers for $10 per month?? I’m really disappointed. It’s HARD to find a place with a decent pool without paying an arm and a leg.
Great gym. Clean and wonderful. Would defiantly recommend.
Owner is very rude. She wouldnt let my 7 yr old watch the basketball game that was going on, because there was a new no kids rule when we have been going for the past year to watch the games. I explained to her that we have been coming here but she didnt care to explain why there was a mistake or whatever the case was because I was confused why all of a sudden my daughter couldnt watch..she walked away and told one of her employees to get us out..They said I had to buy a membership, so I agreed and then they changed there mind and asked me to leave again!! Membership is over priced anyhow.. There are better gyms to go to with better customer service. Also,The Owner also has people leave fake good reviews to try to weed out the bad.Poor ownership.
This place is absolutely Amazing!!! Rob the GM there is doing a fantastic job. The facility is always clean and the staff members are knowledgeable and always eager to help.
The gym itself is fine..however literally nothing is ever cleaned. Never see any of the employees ever cleaning equipment let alone the locker rooms. and the womens bathroom has more toilets that dont work than do. Other than that the only issue is the rap music always playing with full profanity and f words.. there are kids that come here.
Highly recommend everyone to go here. Its awesome, basketball leagues, indoor track, multiple weight rooms, jacuzzi.
Good place to have a work out. I especially like the fact that its right next to Big Creek Parkway
I loved coming to this gym until I had to deal with Angela (who is the owner). She’s very rude and makes me feel uncomfortable. I will be switching gyms!
Great place but are you guys open now
Frequented this place since the mid 90s when it was the Omni. Unfortunately, under new ownership the entire place changed and not for the better. A lot of issues with machines not working properly or too old to be in use. The music being blasted from the basketball court was like attending a rap concert, front row. Interfered with workout and overall concentration.I couldnt even hear the person next to me talking. Everyone in the cardio area was very unhappy to have their workout interrupted. Told management about the noise. They didnt come up to deal with the situation until ten/fifteen minutes later. The clientele seems to be more druggie/street thug like. I cant believe what has happened to this place. It used to be like a home away from home. Not anymore. Would never go here again. And if you are working out on the 2nd floor expect to have your workouts interrupted by rude people and very loud music. So disappointing.
Awesome gym! Had the opportunity to meet the owner, Angela, and you can tell she cares about the place.
Best gym in town. Some say it cost too much but they have more stuff than any other gym in town. 4 floors loaded pool sauna steam room and hot tub. Indoor track and all the free weights and nautilus. Cardio machines galore. Many classes free to membersBasketball courts and roomy locker rooms. Opens at 3 am 365 days a year. You get what you pay for.
I have been going to the gym every Sunday. My brother was upstairs playing and the guy wouldn’t let me get him to use the family plan. I drove from Youngstown. I will never step foot in the gym again waste of time and gas
Stopped coming here a couple months back because it was never clean and equipment was broken for months before it was fixed. Gave it one last try today and the new management has done an awesome job cleaning the place up and fixing equipment. Recommend it now
The gym isn’t bad but if you are a parent and the daycare is one of the reasons you are interested I’m telling you now it’s not worth it. The daycare is NOT RELIABLE! They claim they are open on the weekends but usually it’s nobody there. This is the fifth time I have come in on a Sunday and they don’t know if anyone is in to cover the daycare. Why advertise it if it’s not open. Not worth it.
Very good. But I do miss the pool
Best gym around! Tons of equipment and friendly staff. Been going for about 2 years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great place if your a serious lifter or a beginner too. Sells pre workout and all kinds of bcaa’s, protein shakes and other supplements. It’s also nice to have a hot tub, pool, sauna, and steam room.
$20 just to play basketball and had to sweep the floor ourselves and had a dead spot on the court!
The place is decent. As mentioned by other reviewers, some of the equipment can end up having issues that takes CFC weeks or longer to address. The men’s restroom upstairs next to the tread mills, the hand soap dispenser has been broken and not dispensing hand soap for over a month. Guys go in there and do there business and can’t even wash there hands afterword. This is gross when you think that they likely get onto the machines afterword.Another unsettling issue is when they have basketball games going on it can get so loud in the basketball courts that it becomes a major distraction trying to work out in the cardio room that is right next to the B-ball courts. It can get so loud that you can hear it over and through your headphones! A lot of the basketball guys also come into the cardio room and bounce the basketballs through the cardio room. This is also very distracting from your workout.I was in the middle of a 30 minute, intense workout when all of a sudden the elliptical machine I was working on came to a sudden dead stop. What happened was a basketball had rolled out of the B-ball room and rolled directly under the elliptical machine as my leg was coming down with the machine which caused it to sudden stop. This is so dangerous beyond belief that this happened.
They re did the pool room there no longer a pool looks nice love the gym but they ran out of towels
Awesome gym to workout at and I absolutely love the fitness equipment upgrades! The owners are very friendly, the staff always says hello, and they take care of their members.
The best workout facility in Cleveland. They have everything you could want and then some. Its also kept very clean. The CFC is the old Omni for those familiar to the area and building, but everything has been totally upgraded and they continue to upgrade. The staff is very friendly and always available. I love going here and highly recommend the CFC to everyone.
I thought my membership was good and valid, but the very rude bearded kid behind the counter made me feel so little because it didnt auto renew like it should have. He had my name and info there, but kept calling me bud. Very poor customer service right at the front line. Seeing how others have similar complaints, guess I shouldve expected it. Ill never come here again, after a whole year of coming to this place. Not worth the belittling.
4/5 NEEDS WRESTLING MATS PLZ
Facility was great but the manager Jeremy is very rude and not helpful!!! I had my shoes, phone and money stolen from me and he would not assist in looking at the cameras to help identify the people who stole these items from me!! I am sure if something was stolen from him he would have found out who did it!!!
I paid my 1 yr dues November 2015 and they got Silver Sneakers in December 2015.I asked the manager if they had any Senior Citizen refunds he said nowithout a good justification.I have had my Silver Sneaker card for 2yrs..Now I cant use it until the end of November 2016.This is bad business.Good way to take advantage of a Senior Citizen.Freedom of speech! They dont even have any Handicap Access. How can you advertise Silver Sneakers.Disabled People good luck walking up those stairs,
Love the hot tub and pool area with a steam room and sauna!
Fantastic place to work out. Has all the right things. Great atmosphere. Great management. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 10 for me. Thank you.
My wife and I are the owners of the Cleveland Fitness Club. It is our goal to provide to our members and guests the best available fitness experience in the Cleveland area. We welcome you to our facility to live your fitness out your fitness dreams. We are local and we work out at the club on a regular basis. Hope to see you soon!
I have been to several gyms and this was by far the best! The girl who showed me around was really nice, everyone was very welcoming. I felt at home right away. No one stares or bothers you. They have everything i have ever heard of and it is all the newest & best equipment. They even have a workout room just for women. The start up fee was only 22. Yes $60 a month seems like a lot, but it is more than worth it.
No more indoor pool :(
Cleveland Fitness is one of the most high-end premier fitness clubs in the area! Racquet ball courts, Basket ball courts, overhead running track, juice bar, all the equipment is brand new and top notch! Sauna, Steam room, a hot tub that is HOT! Best of all, clean towels! The staff takes pride in being helpful and the place is clean! Definitely NOT the old Omni!
Used to be the old Omni for those that still remember the place and Joe. Now its be massively upgraded and they aint done upgrading. Check it out its worth your time. I like the pool and sauna the most.
Great real gym. Machines for every muscle. Entire floor of cardio equipment, entire floor of free weights and body building machines. Pool, sauna, steam room. Basketball court, racquet ball, full track and much more.
I love it. Workers are very helpful and theres lots to do for a good price.
I have been a member of CFC since it began, formerly OMNI Fitness, and I have seen many many improvements and alot of new fitness equipment there now. The staff really care about keeping the latest exercise equipment and machines, and they a variety of fitness classes available, a super daycare center, a womens fitness area, an abs room, an inside track, Olympic-sized swimming pool, sauna and hot tub and so much more... it is very much worth going there. They also have a free trial membership available too.
Really, comfortable environment. They have lots of space and equipment.
We do our best at CFC to make your training a pleasurable experience. Stop in and check us out!
I like the private womans area . I feel comfortable there . Also the daycare area is very good . Actually, I love it .
Seemed like a nice enough place at first. Unfortunately, they have a drug problem...I was offered drugs and saw weed changing hands. I would not go anywhere near this gym unless youre looking for that type of activity.
You get what you put into it. Fantastic place.
Was legit. ...went on a visit with squad....they know who squad is but its a beautiful gym
I have not signed up for this gym as of yet. I went in expecting to be able to utilize a free week trial, at the very least a free day pass and was told there are no free trials. That alone made me severly question this gym. then i was told that i would have to pay for half the month of march just to work on on march 30th, and 31st! i was willing to sign up and they were forcing me to pay for 2 days instead of allowing me to sign up. couldnt believe a business would turn away a paying customer for 2 workouts? rediculous.
Place is never clean. Hot tub is always closed. Water filters are never replaced.the dumbbells dont even have numbers on them. Equipment needs fixed and the kids who run the place play vulgar rap music at full volume.horrible since new owners....
Over priced with terrible hours!
Always great!
Spin class could be better
Awesome gym
Very nice gym
Been going there for many years and I never get tired of the place
Twas a good time.
Use to have a pass when it was the omni but now they raised the cost to $700 a year. thats crazy, ill take my money elsewhere
