First of all, I apologize for not having better pictures. I was so excited to be able to something outdoors after all this quarentine time that the first thing I did was jumping into the water. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Everyone here is wearing mask and disinfecting from pens to life vests.Affordable prices for 1 hour of fun. You can rent paddle boards, kayaks, sailboats and windsurfing. One of the best parts of this is that I only drove 30min out from Baltimore. The water is nice, not cold at all. There is enough room for plenty of people to be either paddling or kayaking. Make time and come visit the area
It is a perfect place to take kids that are a little afraid of the water/beach because the water isnt more then 3-4ft deep (unless you go past the bouys) so most kids can stand in the water. This place has a bunch of water sports to do there like jet skis, paddle boards, canoeing, wind sailing, etc. If you are looking for a beach to really swim in then this is not the right place. Theres signs around stating that you can NOT swim there because there is no life guards. Its a beautiful place. There are some water snakes that like to stay along the shore line but they are harmless.
Nice beach. It makes it hard to believe your in Baltimore County not far from civilization. The downside is that its closed in off season.
Small but clean. You can walk out pretty far in the water and still stand up. The water sports looked like fun and the pizza looked good...but I didnt partake
It’s a very nice place, clean, not too busy and I would like it very much, if you could be sure that you can enter the water. We’ve been here a couple of weeks ago and there were lots of people in the water, it wasn’t a problem. Today we were told not to go (try to explain that to a toddler!).If it’s because there’s no lifeguard, you go at your own risk - as in so many other places. It just doesn’t make much sense to me, especially since reviews from a few days ago still show, that they were splashing. So confusing!
Small but relaxing! No swimming allowed! Just for water sports.
Perfect place to go on a hot day. Parking was accessible near by, easy walk to the beach.
Enjoy relax on the beach. Distance from others was prefect. Will revisit
Rented kayaks and stand up paddle boards. Super fun, friendly, helpful staff
The activities are on the expense side but its a nice beach.
Nice and cool waterfront with playground for kids!! You can rent kayak!!
It was a wonderful place, I had a great time
Sat on the swing awhile, looked out over the water, watch the birds fly around. Is a nice park
Has been cleaned up good and was very relaxing
Forest area and beautiful places
Nice place on Chesapeake Bay
Clean, great view, easy to get to and theres a small playground!
Nice and quiet, clean beach.
Small clean family beach with water sports
Not a swimming beach, kayak and paddle board rental available.
Nice little beach to walk on, hidden walkway through the marsh that is pleasently natural, mildly populated during the week. Good place for a quick get away, would love to have it open on the weekend.
Small park. Perfect for a quiet time at the beach. Beautiful scenery and small playground for the kids.
Nice beach for a quick swim if you live in Baltimore. Could be cleaner though
Beautiful place. Loved the clear blue water! Great people and awesome hospitality.
Great place to walk the dog, long boardwalk into the marsh. Several side trails to try when its drier.
Only bad part is its closed during the weekends. But other then that its a great peace place to go to. Its got a mini park for kids and a hiking trail as well. Tables to sit at and bathrooms that are never open. Its nice place oh and there a spot a pot in the parking lot... You gotta go you gotta go. Lol but its nice no trash at all hope to keep it that way tho too.
My review is based from my experience & DISAPPOINTMENT several yrs ago.For those of you younger than I, Miami is nothing near what it was like when privately owned in the 60s & 70s!!I was so sad when we visited & being a fond childhood memory Im always bringing ip yo my husband how sad it makes me to think how its changed.Beach full of duck poop, buildings & surrounding area filthy! (How about chartering youth groups, unemployed, Scouts etc with maintenance!!). I shld post pics of what this place looked like when private owned!Pavilion with many many picnic tables, concession stand, nice & OPEN bath house (not where its currently located), CLEAN BEACH, NO DUCK POOP. Oh my, the memories!! Im from PA but it was a Maryland Gem....guess Ill take my husbands advice & embrace the memories.Too bad a group of investors cant buy it back!!
I didnt have an experience because it was closed. What the hell is that. You are a beach and are closed on the weekends...clock out. Oh and btw, stop calling yourself Miami Beach. That is an iconic beach. You arent even open and are barely even a beach with your dirty ass Chesapeake BAY, not ocean, to swim in.
Quiet place. Only open during the week.
I come this way to visit my Great Uncle with my momNice area, good place for kids
Nice
Lovely place to anchor up and take a dip in the bay
Its just a nice place to Chill!
Yes Melissa its a great swimming spot. Grew up here and also rocky point is around the corner from Miami beach also a nice spot
Quiet .no trouble kid dog friendly
Nice place I would go again
The view is nice but the water is dirty and you cannot swim in it
One of my favorite places
People dont clean up after their dogs. Theres dog poop everywhere. It ruins the experience.
Only open during the week until nightfall
Just a nice relaxing place to relax and listen to nature
I enjoy the quaintness of this park.
Beautiful, clean and rarely crowded
Cute little beach with a nice little playground for the kids
Typical Baltimore County Park. Not maintained and not open weekends. Seriously what park is not open weekends when people are out looking for outdoor activities? This is an example of how poorly managed the City and County Parks system is. You should be ashamed of how you mismanage tax money!!!!
Looks beautiful can u swim here
Closed. Appeared abandoned.
Best kept secret in Baltimore County
Nice park along the water
Run down
The best water not clean but nice little beach
Nice view
Nice little beach
Ok for a free beach . kinda dirty
Very quiet and relaxing
Very nice
Nice and peaceful
No swimming and closed on weekends.
Baltimore County web site states you cant swim there as they are doing a shoreline restoration project.
