Something profound happened here...worth the drive!

This is a nice mound. I drove here and parked in the parking lot, which was good. I walked up the stairs to the top of the mound, which had a nice view. You could see the neighboring golf course, some houses, and the skyline of downtown Dayton out in the distance from the mound. The stairs that lead up to the top of the mound weren’t in the best condition, being cracked and uneven. There were some picnic benches under a roof available to sit in, which was good. There was also a playground in the park. All in all, I had a good experience here.

Its quiet, its beautiful. Go at sunset if you can, the view is amazing!!

Fun clean place to have a family picnic the mound is cool maybe a little exhausting going up to the top and back down but its a nice open Park

This is a beautiful mound! Probably only survived because it is so huge. Sits in a park. Large area, picnic places, large parking lot.The mound itself has been partially excavated. There is a stairway with 100 stairs to the top. There are no guardrail on the top! Fantastic view and you can understand why they close this spot (if you can imagine what it was like before the invasion)If you appreciate mounds, this is worth a stop to see
