Great prices and friendly staff. Everytime I go for fish stuff, I get healthy fish and tons of advice. This past week I got some ideas for a new project and talked one on one with the manager on how to accomplish it. He never seemed rushed and answered all of my questions. Even threw in lil bits of advice that I never wouldve thought of. They dont compare to other pet stores. They care about quality over quantity of customer service. I will be coming back for all of my aquarium needs from now on. Thanks for the shrimp tank help!

I went here to get some shrimp and guppies for two separate tanks. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and the shop itself is very well maintained! I strongly recommend shopping here rather than the usual chain pet supply store! The customer and staff sometimes get forgotten in our huge corporate culture. Ive always had amazing interactions with all of the staff and trust them without question to do what is right for EVERYONE (human and animal) involved. I would seek out this Groomer/Store Owners advice, suggestions, and expertise in a heartbeat and trust her to always make the right call. This small local business has my support and West Carrollton is lucky to have them.

I took my 2 miniature schnauzers here for a grooming and cut. The girls did a great job on them both. I recommend them highly and will be taking them back for their next grooming. I will even start taking my Shih- Tzu there as well.

I would give zero stars if I could. The customer service is terrible, staff is rude, and they discriminate against certain dog breeds. Also very dirty and unsanitary. To top it all off, they don’t even do close to a good job with grooming. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, there are way too many places to take your pets to ever spend your money here.Responding to owner:Nope, I sure meant to put this review for you guys. I love this place! I have 15 different reptiles and 2 dogs so I am constantly visiting for feeders for my reptiles, accessories for their tanks and just about anything you can imagine. The owner has been extremely knowledgeable of any questions and concerns I have on all my animals and always eager to help. There has been times hes even went above and beyond to help me test my equipment (which wasnt even bought at his store!) to make sure my reptiles are in top health. If youre someone who has reptiles, you completely understand how hard it is to find live feeders and hearty crickets so this place is a miracle to us!

When I took my dog here they such a nice job grooming her and were so kind. They have awesome prices as well. My dog was very sick from a certain type of food I was giving her and I told the employees about it and they recommended a new food and my dog loves it. My new favorite store! It has exotic fish all types of aquariums and Pet items water dragons and the owner Bill is super nice he will tell you all about your fish how to take care of them and even gives great prices . If you’re looking for well-kept animals and great knowledge this is definitely the place for you I highly recommend it .

I go here all the time to get my dogs nails trimmed. Theyre absolutely great and always willing to work you in. Oh and the prices are super reasonable. I tell anyone with pets about this place.

Unfortunately, our experience was not as positive as other reviewers. We took our dogs in for grooming. When we picked the dogs up from being groomed, the dogs were just simply shaved. I had requested a schnauzer cut; however, the dogs were completely shaved. The dogs were not matted and are well behaved, so honestly, I was shocked. Whats worse is that there was a clump of fur on top of the schnauzers head that was just left there uncut. Lol. When I brought it to the attention of the groomer, she said, Oh yeah, I saw that. But he was squirming, so I just left it. Seriously? Paying $115 to have two small dogs groomed, I would expect that the groomer can perform the expected cut and certainly not leave a clump of fur on top of a dogs head. She did not even offer to fix it. Even an elementary student is expected to color within the lines, but apparently this is something not stressed in grooming school. At a minimum, they should have apologized, offered to fix the cut, and given some discount for the poor quality. Oh well, live and learn. We will never take our dogs there again.

Lots of selection, reasonable prices, and some very cute toys and accessories for pets. Great service from the staff here, and Bill will probably help you with heavy items if you ask nicely. Miranda is a very careful and experienced groomer who will really care for your dogs and give them the love and attention they need. Added bonus is being able to come in and visit the sweet adoptable cats in the store from the Humane Society.

A great place to buy mice for a snake .

We have been coming here just a short time since getting my son a bearded dragon last month and rescuing another this month. They have been incredibly helpful and frirnfly. Great selection and pricing! They have quickly become our ho-to spot for all of critters! Highly recommend

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was so excited to come and get my baby’s nails trimmed because of how many awesome reviews it had and the nail trims only being $10 literally WHAT A DEAL?! No wonder they were so cheap! My dog and I came in a few hours ago to get her nails done and I was told on the phone by a very impatient, monotone woman I HAD to come before 4pm if I wanted them done. I explained before she started that she would be very anxious since this is the first time her nails have been trimmed by anyone but her vet and I walked away. When I got her back her eyes were red and teary from crying. I immediately looked at her neck and it was BLEEDING from how hard she was handled by her choke collar. As she was handing Meera back to me she told me how difficult she was. News Flash: do not telling a customer BEFORE they pay and/or tip how bad their dog was for you (hint hint you WILL lose money) I was so irate, I asked if the woman had left it on when she got her nails done by the whole minute and a half she was back there. She insisted that she took it off. ( there’s no way she could trim all twenty nails take off the choke collar and put it back on within a minute duration.) a man came following after me when I walked to the counter and slammed a twenty on the table to pay. He insisted he would take care of the bull. I tried two more times to pay before taking the money back which I did appreciate. I showed him her neck and he told me there was no way that woman would’ve kept her collar on. Well there’s no other way my dog would be bleeding. He started asking me questions like if she was fighting me while walking to the back as if it was my fault. I wanted to buy her treats, toys, and a sweater for winter. I didn’t spend a dime in that store, nor will I ever again. Such a disappointment. I don’t know if we got treated differently because my puppy is an anxious pit bull, or if it was simply garbage customer service. Best piece of advice I can give, don’t come here to get your pets groomed. The price is amazing, but the respect and treatment is subpar. I wish I could identify the woman that treated us so badly, but she didn’t even introduce herself or have my dog welcome her properly before taking her.

I usually dont support/ try not to support pet stores that sell live animals for the simple fact that they tend to be $ signs instead of living creatures. But Pawsome is completely different, whether the owner is there or your helped by an employee Ive always gotten the help that I need from them. Ive gotten a rabbit, lovebird, and a ball python from here and theyre the healthiest pets I have, also if there was something up with them I know I wouldnt be lied to so I would buy, they are very honest to say the leaste. I love that this is a privately owned store so they have a very detailed understanding of the animals care, current habits, and history, rather than the typical oh we just got them in and I think they eat this stuff that you find at bigger chain pet stores. They will also order specific animals and food/other items that they dont have usually if you dont find what your looking for. This is also a great place to go to if your just getting into fish tanks, the owner has extensive knowledge and years of experience with all kinds of different fish and tank setups. Its a one stop shop literally, you can get your pet here, get their new home and accessories, their food, and enough knowledge to last you quit awhile weather your new or experienced. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I go in like once a week and have never seen dead animals or smelled anything bad. He is wrong. I will only go here for my pet supplies and grooming and love supporting small businesses!

It was friendly. There were a couple dead fish in the tanks and I came right before their shipment of product came in. The worker knew what she was talking about when I over heard her talking to another customer. They had the basics of what you would need. The tank prices are a bit high though.

Animals were in horrible condition. Dead mouse and sick rats with respiratory illnesses. Looked like they were using pine bedding which is horrible for small animals. The store smelled horrible, too. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
