Good park, nice views toward Miami Beach

If you are looking for an organic Farmers Market; outdoor yoga class; a playground for kids; basketball court, small dog park area; and space for picnics you will not be disappointed. The only down side is the market can be somewhat pricey so it feels more like a tourist trap than something beneficial to locals. Overall, I had a good time and would return for theSaturday market or weekday return to nature, to clear my mind and enjoy sunshine.

Its a great place to hang out especially with the pandemic theres a lot of distance between people and for me very relaxing i go everyday then to Starbucks.

Really nice little park squeezed between US-1 and the bay. They have a small farmers market on the weekends with vendors selling produce, meats, clothes, food, jewelry, and other products. Its a nice area for walking or picnicking by the bay. They also have tennis courts, stationary fitness equipment, and a soccer field. They are building a really nice childrens playground which is almost complete as of December 2019. Dog friendly. Its a nice little slice of peace in a busy part of town.

By far the best dog park in the area. We even drive 20 minutes almost 4 times a week to take our dog. The grass makes a big difference and there are more dogs and more space for our pup to run around. I would recommend not going early in the morning if you have a longer haired pup as the dew on the grass tends to get our dog really muddy. Sometimes we risk it, but around 9am the dew burns off and she can roll around no problem.

I went to this park this past Saturday to check out the farmers market they have.It turns out that it’s a great park, it has free parking but not for too many cars, and I enjoyed walking around this park because their outdoors was great.At the end of this park, you can see the water of the beach or Bay and that was so beautiful.There were two soccer team playing and I think it was so cute to see and hear of the family cheering for their kids.

Understand, I was there illegally!But I have nostalgic reasons for my 5 stars.This was always a safe and quiet placeNow it is in disrepair.And sadly, I think at night it gets a little rancid. I see trash everywhere.Not the way it used to be.Also boat ramp is in shambles.Only go if you are grasping for the good old days and expecting to find them in your memory!

Great place to bring a dog that is 100 percent ok with voice commands. Beautiful trees and fairly private areas to really spread out.

What a beautiful park! Tennis, soccer, view of Biscayne Bay, volleyball, basketball, large area with a path and trees, farmers market?!?!!!!! Free parking free entry and a community center with bathrooms, free books and computer access for the people! This park is amazing!

Great well maintained park. One thing to note is that it closes at 9, not 10 as the sign states so be careful not to be locked in!

Would have been a great waterfront location for a Houston’s steakhouse...Used to walk our dogs at Legion park growing up in the 90’s.. would throw coconuts and the dogs would jump off the dock/pier thingy to retrieve and paddle back...Also used to go to the American Legion w my dad when I was a kid. I’d have a bowl of stale popcorn, he’d have whatever he drank.It’s a shame the waterfront park couldn’t have gotten picked up by the city or county as a designated public area....developers...this is why we can’t have nice thingsOnly an out of state buyer would ruin such an iconic and historical “ish” site w construction and development.#boohoo #lifegoeson #loveumiami

New to the area. This place is a very nice place to get away and feel the bay breeze. A bit noisy with all the construction, but I can tell this will be an enjoyable safe place to bring the family. I hear the farmers market is great on the weekend

Save this park. Great location! Plenty of parking. Good for your health. Let the kids run free and workout while they play.

What an amazing park! I love that it is kind of hidden. It has a dog park, outdoor gym area, basketball courts, tennis court, rec center, and lots of wide open space. And to top it off? Its on the water!! It is so nice at Legion park!

There are a variety of organic products: vegetables, fruits, smoked fish, bee keepers stand w/a variety of honey. Organic soaps and creams, essential oils. Fresh coconut water, juice freshly made on the spot! etc.awesome!

Great local park right on the water. Being renovated for the kids. One of the best apartment buildings in Miami being built right beside it.

It was my first time i was driving by with my wife and they had a festival. It was great they had people duing yoga. Lots of things to eat. We walked to the bay i really enjoy my time. And the good thing they are going to have the festival every other week so if you are bored all you have to do is get up early morning and enjoy.

Very nice park with dogs place, fitnnes equipment and Bayshore view. The farmers market at Saturday mornings has many options to get, food, vegan options, vintage clothes, etc.!

My neighbor are grateful for the City of Miami staff everyone, the police and the persons dispensing the sand. God bless you and your families.

Lots of peace, nostalgic, and waterfront ocean views here. Basketball, exercise machines, Tennis, and soccer are the main activities here! Great place to chill out. Especially near the ocean!!

I love Legion Park. Especially on Saturdays. Theres a little market and a free yoga class at 10am on Saturdays. Bring your mat and comfortable yoga clothes with and enjoy yoga class and the day.

Lovely park to visit with family and friends. Great place for kids. Safe. Conveniently located near Biscayne Blvd. Nice view of the water. A good place to go for a picnic, meditate or do some outdoor activities.

This park is great. There is a lot of space for kids and free yoga. I highly recommend to take your family here.

Really clean, nice set up, very serene

Farmers market on Saturday is always worth a visit. Picnics are great here. Needs a PADL station because the access to the bay is perfect for paddleboarding. When that and the new waterpark playground under consttuction is done then Ill give five stars.

I really like this space. Always parking available, great guys on the bball court for pick up(?) games. Plenty of space. They even have a farmers market every Saturday. I just hate they are building those high rises around it. Why didnt they opt for single family homes instead? This area is going to be so congested

Best outdoor experience in South Florida

Would have gotten 5 stars if the bathrooms were clean.The kids love the park. Nice open space to play. The basketball court is great. Added bonus is the farmers market open on the weekend.

Saturday farmers market is the best time to go enjoy Legion. Amazing local produce, fresh juices, quality meat and eggs, and varied vendors. Bring a blanket and relax under the trees with your kids and/or doggos. Theres also a little workout area and the water view is nice.

I love this park! I am in my early fifties now and I started visiting this park since I was eleven. Beautifully kept, tons of excercise options, stations and machines for a quick sweat after work... Tons of memories.. Tons of ways to keep healthy.. LOVE IT!! Check it out!!!!!

Great park! Good for family events. Either indoors where you can rent the hall, that has enough space for about 150 people, it has a full kitchen, recreation area, and good floor space. Or outdoors where the beautiful trees, and Bayfront view sort of demands recognition. Shaded playground area for the kids, BBQ grills, outdoor fitness area, B-Ball court, Tennis court, Soccer/Football/Open field. And of course the glistening ocean waters, warm sunshine, and the bay breeze all endulging your spirit. Walking distance from Hotels, Motels, Holiday Inns (Sorry got carried away) great restaurants, public transportation shopping outlets, and gas stations. This is a park you will not regret visiting.

It was a great park with enough space for playing soccer or football. Also there were two basketball full courts. The major takeaway was that court floors were very hot. It melted my shoes. But great atmosphere and barbecue section. I had a blast with the youth group from my church Eagles Temple. It was also Free admission.

Great open park with lots of shade. Used to be super sketchy, but cleaned up alot with an ever-growing farmers market on Saturdays. Playground for the kids, tennis and basketball courts and right off the bay. Also has yoga on weekends and afterschool program for kiddos. Oh and a dog park at the entrance. Nice place!

I love this Park. His trees, vibe and fresh air. Saturday farmer market is awesome too.

I love coming to this park to play basketball, it also have a lot shade so you can sit and enjoy your lunch or spend time with friends and family.

Park is half the size it used to be. Developments are taking over.

Nice place for jogging, walking, tennis, basketball... Good for kids and families. I like it. Has got nice views and a brink of sea. The playground for kids is awesome my daughter did not want to go home after coming here. I will for sure come again and again.

Family friendly, clean and spacious. Multiple full court basketball, bar-b-que pits and a walking trail to keep your family active and entertained.

Not too big, but has a little bit if everything: basketball, tennis, playground, exercise equipment, soccer, farmers market on Saturdays, bathrooms, dog park and it is on the water. It also has an amazing tree canopy.
