Mask needed, hand wash stations and sanitizer available on site. Skate, skate board are allowed not sure about bikes. Owner is nice also
Discovered this spot with my daughter. Ample parking across the street. Appointment are needed. Mask needed, hand wash stations and sanitizer available on site. Skate, skate board are allowed not sure about bikes. Owner is nice also
This skatepark is mad good, it’s well maintained, I have seen skateboards, rollers blades, scooters, bmx bikes in this park, and everyone is nice and friendly, you do need to make an appointment to go in though, there’s a good amount of rails, boxes, hubus, ramps, pool, and there is a lot of space
Beautiful skatepark in the heart of cultural Miami. Just make sure to make an appointment online
Lots of ramps, quarter pipes, and even a whole pool inside. Nice looking place as well and its free (remember to reserve first).
Very much needed park! Improvements should be considered. Improvements to consider, crosswalks more prominent, water fountain, add educational elements, for example paint one the the columns with a world map to expose people to geography. This can also create conversations. On another maybe the periodic table.
Professionally run facility. Make sure you schedule your appointment.
Amazing park. Tons of fun and controlled access post Covid-19 makes it almost feel like you have the park to yourself.
Much bigger than i expected from viewing other reviews, so I tried to take a ton of photos. Free skate park open to just about everything it seems, just no metal pegs. We saw scooters, roller blades, and skaters of course. Visited at 11 am on a Saturday and while there were plenty of people there I wouldn’t say it was crowded. For reference my 4yr old was able to navigate around people on his trick scooter for an hour. There’s pay by phone parking right across the street for $2.50 an hour. Oh yeah, the best part is it’s all shaded bc it’s under the highway.
I wish this existed back when I was a teenager. Great place for skaters to have fun and not have to deal with security kicking them out of places. There is still room for improvement however. Skaters get thirsty, there should be water fountains to avoid pollution and lost drinks. Also places to park and lock bicycles for those who travel there on bicycles. But overall great park and good for the community. Skateboarders are finally recognized.Edit: They added the water fountains.
Fist off you can tell who reviewed this place just to get the Google Local Reviewer clout so dont take their word for it lmao. And secondly, the park has been the best thing to happen to the Miami skate scene in a long time and frankly everyone is enjoying it. The dudes at SKATE FREE who designed and did most of the work to get the park up and running and continuously keep updating the park with new additions. From the heavily demanded water fountain, to hearing out from the locals on replacement or new obstacle changes. Its grown the scene a lot more and intriguing newbies to give skating a try which is great to see. The park is big enough for even crowded days but you just have to avoid the little kids who dont know any park etiquette but thats not really the fault of the park and we can teach them how to behave accordingly. But if youre not into that, there is always space really early or later in the afternoon. All in all the park is great and with the constant attention its getting from those who helped make it possible and the locals, its sure to last a long time. BTW dont contemplate going, just go to it its worth it.
Amazing spot to shred in downtown. Nice little half pipe to play on. Super smooth surface for the park, nice variety of ramps, curves, steps, boxes, rails. Whether youre a pro or a beginner check this place out.
Pretty awesome place to skate.
Truly Incredible skatepark that puts Miami on the map when it comes to sick public skate parks. Open late and covered from rain and sun. Obstacles for every skill level spread out over a football sized course. Thank you to the skaters of Miami for making this happen. We need parks like this all over the world. Lets make the world a better place.
Its a really sick park.. busy, but really sick. The concrete is super smooth and the layout is awesome. Its my new favorite park that Ive ever been to in Florida. Stellar vibes with it being under the bridge too.
A great place. Weekends is a bit crowded with little children and their moms. Conveniently close to Governmet Center Station: two blocks west.
Honestly I was there when it was raining so only some sections were open to ride but it was still one the best parks Ive ever been to. Its amazing.
Been skating for 15 years and this is probably the most well thought out skatepark Ive been to. Has a bowl, lots of hips, plenty of hubs and other grind spots, ramps for beginners, intermediate, and pros, they have a Manny pad/grind area for flatground stuff, and a 3 or 4 ft miniramp in the back. Plenty of wide open area for plenty of people to run the same line too. Very impressive park, its gonna be my main park now.
Empty in the mornings and night, and perfect for polishing skills before the midday rush. Free parking and public restrooms.
They now have a water fountain. Best park in south Florida
Chill environment, since its right under the highway the sun isnt beating down on you all the time. Only complaint is the smell of weed is too damn strong.
The best skatepark in Miami
It was an awesome skate park. But if your interested in riding like a bmx its a bit difficult because of so many ppl. Definitely made for skate board or in line skates
Awesome space for people of all ages. Love it!
The only wooden thing is the miniramp
Best park in Miami! Has something for everyone. Even had a pop up pizza truck!
Awesome world class skate park. Beautiful open design. Great asset to miami skate culture.
Very good place to skate, however its missing some things
Cant beleive they built this here in downtown miami use to skate alot when i was younger glad to see the skate community is only growing
It was pretty cool. i had a good time and the vibe was high.
Great place to meet up. Central in miami accessible to all.
Best park ngl. But they need a mini ramp and a quarter pipe.
This is THE BEST spot in town ! At this moment the skatepark is not officialy open but you can ride, no problem.Good vibes in there !
Worth the drive from Orlando. Best park in Florida!
Just opened. Great bowl. Lots of space. Wish it had a half pipe
Great family skatepark...excellent lines for all levels!
The park is amazing however some things could be added such as some astroturf to wipe the dust off your wheels and shoes also alot of parents let their kids run rampant with no respect toward all the skaters waiting in line to hit some spots and then the parent get mad when you try to ask them to move to avoid hitting them that is the biggest issue i have ITS A SKATE PARK NOT A WHEELIE PARK NOT A SCOOTER PARK A SKATE PARK RESPECT IT!!!
Very nice skate park, its on a shade and its open late.
What an amazing place. Looking forward to taking the boys on a weekday.
Theyre setting up for Art Basel tonight
Finally South Florida has an iconic skatepark
Excelent skate park near downtown
Miami finally got the skatepark it wanted!Bring a water bottle and come early, less people at that time.
It is a really good place for skating
This skatepark is off the heezee.
Good spot, Great people putting this project together for the community. Stoked to see it grow and looking forward to the full real park when its complete. Best part about this location is its in the SHADE a rare find in South Florida for outdoor parks. Super easy to get to as well from the freeway. In time this will become the best outdoor spot in South Florida for sure.
Best park ever
Might have broke in a noodled around, lots of open space, different grades of ramps, huge bowl. A1
World class skate park.
Great place for skateboards and bikes
Very clean good food
Great,awesome
Water. Only thing missing is a water fountain
Great bowl
Park is super nice and isnt too crowded. The placements are for a beginner-intermediate skater with a halfpipe. Although the placements arent impossible, there arent too many altogether. Still, really nice park.
Best skatepark in florida. Outstanding obstacles. Don’t go in the morning on weekends because there is a bunch of parents that do not use their brain and sit on the obstacles. If you tell them to move they act like 5 year olds. Besides dumb parents, this park is the perfect place to train SKATEBOARDING.
Cant wait to see what lot 11 ends up looking like after they re do it.
CLOSED AND UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! ONLY THING LEFT IS THE WOODEN SMALL HALFPIPE. SNUCK IN YESTERDAY AND RODE AROUND FOR A BIT.
Lit asf
It was my first time visiting that kind of a park. The feeling was great! A real fun!!
Always a good spot to park on.
My son loves it..best place for a small skating skateboard park. .great pile of kids and teens all around..good eveiroment
Awesome environment, grand opening was sweet
Very cool. Shot some b-roll here.
My 15 year old son loved it. Safe place during the day for sure.
Gritty, authentic and a great use of underpass space. Downside - youre under an overpass.
New set up is super dope
It had alot of variety in ramps and poles to do tricks. Its pretty to to anyone to go there. The only thing is that the floor is a bit dusty. Other than that its great
Fun place to be, wish they opened in the morning but hey what can we do this is mostly privately funded and they got a life too, make sure you dont park where Google maps sent you as that $6/hr and parking here at lot 11 is free under the expressway
New place in town to skate free
Its a cool spot but Miami Dade county so cheap with it, could have built something better
They stepped it up this park is insane
This parca y s the best friend parcial in miami it’s lit
This park is a good start. Cant wait for them to build more to it! (Edit)I cannot belive what what a great job these guys have done. They actually built Miamis first free skate park. So much repect to skatefreeFl. We are waiting for the opening date which is still yet to be decided. Ill upload pictures soon.
Great place to share, bike, and hang out, kids and adults practice many times a week, very cool spot, very safe
Covered skatepark in Miami, its nice. Ramp48 in Fort Lauderdale is a million times better, but its a nice park! and FREE!!!
Fun place to be able to go all out. Just enough of everything
It said it was open but it was under construction after a 20 minute drive terrible
V Tite. Fav diy park so far.
Great!!!!!! Love this skatepark
I’m learning to skate and this was a great place to learn.
As someone who rides BMX and fgfs. The locals dont seem to be very bike friendly but that didnt stop me from getting some good clips in
Cool park to skate and chill
Great vibes
Lot 11 is right where Google maps says it is. Its a free skate park and its got a lot of features. Come through, come through.
