Popcorn was cold. They do not card for minors to see rated R movies. We had several teenagers under 17 without parents acting like complete idiots in the theater. Even after two complaints to security they did not remove them.

This is the kind of go -to movie house that runs in the city. A perfect place for couple to have romantic alone, for family and with perks to binge watching. They served a variety of movies different genres with a big screen that you can fully enjoy your stay.

Juan Suarez you should not give them one star for not being able to sell food. Its not the theaters fault--- its a state of Florida regulation since we are in the middle of a pandemic.

This theater is way better than one in dolphin mall and regals down in Kendall drive. AMC has recliner seats in all rooms and is so comfy. Prices are reasonable specially on Tuesdays when all tickets are $5!! Employees are very friendly and theater is so clean. Make sure to bring a blanket because sometimes it gets cold in there. Also has great selections on food and drinks for everyone.

Became an A-list member in January 2019. Theater has leather, power recliner seats. Theater was kept in very good shape every time we went. We got busy, so we stopped going since August. Tonight (11 Jan 2020) we finally made it back for a movie - what happened??? The place was TRASHED!!! Womens restroom did not have soap, papers all over the floor. Then in theater 16 to watch Jumanji 2 - old food and trash on the floor AND the seats! Was obviously NOT cleaned between showings.Notified management of the horrible condition. Lets hope he backs up his promise to make sure the theater gets minimal cleaning and maintenance from now on, as it used to be.And, not 100% his fault, as trashy movie-goers are truly the ones responsible for making the mess; sat in between a few of the trashy movie-goers; one lady showing her young kids how to act rude and pirate movies. I wonder if she ever found her backpack?

Movie in the afternoon. I recommend you watch the movie and may the force be with you, only in AMC TAMIAMI 18, because is the best place with the most incredibles confort.

The theater was not cleaned from the showing prior and I slipped and fell in the bathroom. Pro tip: discount movies on Tuesdays. Once got into the theater I realized it had not been cleaned as there was food everywhere and I had to hunt down a supervisor which was difficult because there was no one around. He came and cleaned it himself which I appreciate but shouldn’t have been necessary in the first place. When I went to use the bathroom I slipped and fell on my back because the floor was wet and there was no sign indicating a wet floor either. Staff your place with people who can take care of it or wait for your next lawsuit.

This Place is awesome. Sofa seats that recline. Need I say more. We sat in second row and was still enjoyable. I will be visiting again soon.. also has a full bar for alcohol drinks..

This is my new favorite theater. From the ease of buying my tickets on the app and using the stubs membership to get discounts and free popcorn (which by the way I highly recommend you look into it). The theater sizes are perfect, the reclining chairs are super comfortable and the surround sound immaculate. I used to go to Cobb theater at Dolphin Mall but in all honesty if I could go back in time and watch all the movies I did at Dolphin and watch them in this AMC, Id do it in a heartbeat. Come and check it out for yourself. You wont go home disappointed.

This used to be a dump now I cant stay away from the unlimited soda, Macguffins bar and recliners in every theater. Wine and a movie without paying for that dine in experience! A gem, truly!

Boring. They can not sell food. Sucks. Movie without popcorn is not the same.

This place has become my default movie theater. Is not the closest one for me but I like the AMC concept of comfy seating with small venues. They also have ticket discounts if you catch a movie early, and you only pay $5 on Tuesdays. There’s a great loyalty program called AMC Stubs where you can see up to 3 movies weekly and other perks for a monthly fee.

Has been completely overhauled with a bar, reclining seats, free refills on soda and the theater is completely clean! This place used to be a theater you would steer clear from but is now one of the hidden gems in Miami when it comes to theaters. Not many people realized it went through a complete renovation so it is relatively empty unless there is a big release. Definitely recommend over Dolphin Mall if you appreciate a quiet theater.

I think this movie theater is very organized. I like how they have someone right at the door scanning your ticket. They also have a full bar inside. The seats are awesome and big and they have free refills on drinks.

The theater has comfy reclining chairs with footrests! And you get to choose your seats when you buy your tickets. Very enjoyable experience

I have been a AMC stubs premiere for more than 2 years. This Monday I tried to buy tickets under my account, but the system was down and I end up paying the convenience fee with the hopes to get a refund, which was not the case. I was told that they do not refund the convenience fee, not even ic their system was faulty. Very unhappy costumer because of a convenience fee.

Nice place. Deaf friendly! There is open caption on the movie. If you like OC, ask the manager. He or she will inform you the date and movie title. I recommended this for everyone

$10 for a large pop corn and $9 for a large drink is just absurd. They cost pennies to make and maintain, this is just robbery.We were also deafened by the previews.... Like cover your ears loud...But credit where its due, movie was fine.

Inside is great. Seating is state of the art recliners. Outside shopping mall is a little more run down compared to movie theaters.

I come here often when I’m in town as I’m an A-list member and this location has recliners in all the theaters (as opposed to Sunset), but they’ve really got to step up the maintenance. The drink station is always sticky and messy. As is the bathroom. And sometimes, you’ll get a seat that doesn’t recline! That’s why I come to this location!! And since it’s reserved seating, if you’re in a full theater there’s nothing you can do about it. Ugh. At least being an A-lister is a good deal.

The theater was really dirty, from the main entrance to the seat, the staff working at the shop its very rude, they dont even smile, floor, desk, walls, fountain machine (with many flavors out of service), restrooms and the theater room was dirty.P.D. The seats are really good, maybe one of the most comfortable theater seats in town.

This is the best theater Ive been to in Kendall. Its newly remodeled and there is a FULL BAR. The recliner reserved seats are huge, comfortable, and spacious. If you have not been here in a while, its time to visit again. This is officially my new theater.

Really nice theater with comfy chairs. The kiosk to buy tickets is quick and easy. Unfortunately half of our popcorn was small bits of burnt, and the prices were a little higher than anticipated. But all and all well be returning!

This AMC theater in it of itself it’s quite accommodating and comfortable (fantastic recliner seats!) and the staff is friendly. But, the location at a strip mall doesn’t give you much to do afterwards.

I give one star because AMC Tamiami is one of the only theaters in SW Miami-Dade with recliner seats, but that is the ONLY thing good about this location. This place is filthy! The management team here has absolutely no concept of team members routinely sweeping and cleaning the theater throughout the day. This includes the lobby, the drink area, and the restrooms.

Movie was great, seats inside are awesome, comfortable, electric lazy boy style chairs. Love them!Im not sure if each theatre is the same. The inside is visually nice and clean. The outside of the theatre, especially the mall entrance needs a bit of TLC.Its tolerable. The focus is on the movie experience right? Thats right on! This movie theatre is easy, quick, and local. Its my go to place.

The seats are amazing and super comfortable, the staff was very nice, the only problem is the mall its in and the parking not to mention some shady people that we saw. Would return only because of the seats and the fact that they are assigned.

The theatres are nice and comfortable, with the reclining chairs. The staff can maybe get a bit of an attitude boost, the women that I felt with at Concessions wasnt exactly the friendliest, and when they served me popcorn, it was as if they got from the bottom of the bin; Super salty, burnt, and just pieces that looked crushed. The theater interior looks spectacular and clean but the outside looks likes its a rundown movie theatre. Understandable that this is an old building, but if youre going to be in an old building, at least spruce up the outside. Add some colour, maybe even plants or something to give the place more life.

Its nice because of the comfy seating and the fact that not a lot of people come here during the day but the location is kind of off and they could make it more modern. However, it was still nice to seat in those recliner chairs.

There screen and the sound were perfect, but the reclining chairs were pretty wobbly, and loose. It made getting up and sitting down annoying. Theyre not the worst, but its something you need to be aware of, to avoid spilling your $16 concession combo, or falling into your chair.

Great theater! The seats are very comfortable. The seats have to be reserved ahead of time because they typically are sold out. The people who go are typically very respectful of the movie experience. The only negative is the parking. It always seems like the parking lot is full.

Attended sunday 645 showing of DOLITTLE at Tamiami 18 theatre. Was disappointed with the audio. Not sure if it was the theatre sound or the movie itself. The speech clarity of Dr Dolittle was lacking. Maybe it was the english accent thing. Otherwise awesome theatre in a horribly ugly, unkept shopping center.

Great place to go to the movies! The seats are amazing and the food is decently good. The seats recline and are in pairs. You by your ticket specifying which seat you want so you dont have to get there super early to get a good seat, you just have to buy the tickets early which you can do online. The bathrooms are super clean and they have plenty of mirrors and stalls. The location is nice and its in a good plaza. There are restaurants and stores you can wait on your movie at. Once you get there it is easy to get into the movie theater. I would advise from go a little early for the sake of parking, though.

This is it, the best theatre in my miami area. Its rarely hugely busy. the seats are amazing. Staff is quick and nice.You got drinksI knock it one star because the parking lot is such a shady place. Theres a bunch of good places in the plaza, I just wish theyd fix it up, add more lights and what not.

The staff member at the concession stand last night was awesome. The theater was clean and the chairs are amazing. The restrooms need to be checked more regularly as there was pee on the floor. Normal in the establishments in that area. We will definitely go to this theater again.

GREAT SEATING ARRANGEMENTS

We are AMC Members. The Miami Location gets very busy so we have to book our movies ahead of time. The lines get a little long at the concession. We love getting the personal pizzas which taste great. We have seen so many movies at this location we always leave in good spirits. The bathroom could be a little cleaner but in all its an all around good experience.

Definitely, the best movie theater in the area. Quick service, comfortable seats, good drinks.

With all the new renovations, I will never go to another theatre . The comfort is at a whole new level! I come here every Tuesday for $5 movies & the $5 popcorn/soda combo & it’s really the best. I always bring a blanket in my purse & I legit feel like I’m home watching a movie. It’s great. Service is good & ive never had an employee treat me badly, experience is always pleasant !

Its much better since it was bought off by AMC and was remodeled. This theater was once owned by Regal and it had the worst chairs. Now they have those new state of the art reclining chairs. Worlds of difference. Thank you AMC! Definitely one of the more affordable theaters in Miami. Best bang for your buck! How this helps.

Small theater rooms the size of a big living room, not joking at all. Overall its your standard AMC with full bar and food menu, location wise its in a dilapidated shopping center, you wouldnt think to go there from the outside appearance of the theater.

This whole ordeal started because the inept staff sold me a ticket for the wrong day. When i presented it to the security in the front, they ripped it in half and told me to proceed to theater 15. I guarantee that these people don’t even read the tickets handed to them. When i got to my seat, a woman started yelling about how i was in her spot and she reported me to the front desk, even though i calmly offered to go with her to guest services to iron out the mistake. I even showed her my ticket to prove that i wasnt lying (and that i had no malicious intent). To make matters worse, the AMC staff had the audacity to send a SECURITY to escort me out of the screening, despite the fact that i was only in the wrong seat because of THEIR error. The whole experience was exhausting and aggravating and i dont plan to ever return to this theater. Save your time and go to the AMC in Hialeah or Sunset.

It is a nice theater. Parking is always nice and the theater is always clean. I wish the chair buttons werent so sensitive. My seat was always moving back and forth. What I dont like is that I spent 15 dollars on a hot dog and a large Coke. That is utterly ridiculous but nowadays expected. Over all we like this theater better than other normal ones.

Never had any problems going here. Love the recliner chairs, reserve seating availability and the cheaper ticket prices over the competition. From what Ive heard, the 3D theater screens are a little darker than regular screens for 2D movies. Not sure if thats a 3D movie standard or not. I personally saw this issue at another theater when I saw a 3D movie. I just avoid 3D movies all together. And I also dont buy concession stand foods or beverages. Cant provide comment on that.

Dont be fooled by the old looking, outdated shopping center this theater is located in! Once you step inside from the entrance to your seats you will be mighty impressed! Very much like the AMC location I went to recently in Sunrise! I think its safe to say AMC has won a loyal customer! Im really surprised how well clean the cinema is taken care of and everything is laid out in a neatly organized manner. You can purchase tickets electronically at a booth, or go to the counter and have an employee help you out! Overall its a brilliant experience for a good cost! This theater location does not include the bar that they have at other AMC locations! Ive been told we should be expecting that addition very soon! Highly recommend this theater if youre in the area!

The movie was good but the place was nasty, dirty messy and didnt have fresh popcorn or working slushie machines. This was a beautiful theater when it first reopen and now I cant believe what it looks like. Very disappointed in the staff and management to let this place go like it has
