The HIGHLIGHT of my weekend in Miami!My sister and I made an impromptu stop at the Historic Ward Rooming House last evening and Im so glad that we did. Inside this amazing venue was an exhibition showcasing poster art created by well known African American artists such as John T. Biggers and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Looking forward to future events!

Due to the gentrification of this Historic area the Ward Rooming House is one of just a few of the historic remembrances of what was a once thriving and extremely successful Black community.
