DO NOT DO IT. I WAS ROBBED. I paid for my two sons to start the training with elite sports right before the pandemic. They, of course, never got to start because everything was shut down, which is totally understandable. However, this company delivered no updates on their status after things have started up again. elite sports has started back up again and i have attempted several times to contact “Junior” for more information on when my boys can get the month that i PAID for with no response. Ive asked for a refund twice. The first time i asked, junior told me they would be starting up in a few weeks to which i agreed to wait and never received any updates or information in the weeks that followed. The second time i asked, after waiting patiently to be added to a parent group chat that Junior promised to add me to, giving details about practice times,etc. and never added to it, i messaged him and asked for a refund again and have yet to receive a reply. I’ve called all available numbers for Junior and his business with no response. Basically, I have been robbed of $350 DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They have several complaints in the better business bureau. And i will be adding another one.

We signed up back in August at the end of Summer. We have a 6 year old and a 11 year old.Very convenient and love that all Games are indoor as well. We have tried multiple Programs in Kendall and other areas for our boys but we have liked what Elite is doing. Happy to found this place.My hat goes out to Junior the owner who has great experienced trainers and his structure is awesome. Great things also is that Elite is also year round program which means our kids wont miss a beat of training. They also play in different leagues and tournaments so that the kids get the most of the experience and also learn.

Great program. Great training and indoor facility for the kids and families. Great job to the owner Junior who is very dedicated to the kids and families and actively involved with them all. Junior also helps get sponsors for low income kids which is awesome. Love the league and atmosphere.Coaches are also certified trainers with experience and the kids learn fundamentals and develop their skills. My son has been with 2 other programs and even lost his motivation for the game and sport and we gave Elite Youth Academy Miami and Elite Sports Miami a shot and he loves it. Their schedules are convenient, fair to all and dedicated to help the players learn, develop and improve on and off the court.

Elite Sports Miami has an awesome program. Reading reviews about the owner and how they bash him is truly unfair.Junior has been a great and stand out person from day one to my child, family and everyone in his program. He has paid trainers, high School coaches and certified trainers. He takes his teams to tournaments and local leagues to compete and is always at the office to greet all parents and players and is beyond respectable. Elite sports Miami is a great program and you will see for yourself. Indoor facility and awesome training by knowledgeable coaches only. Not parent or volunteer coaches. This is my 2 boys first time playing in a basketball academy and they love it. I like how practices are, location and it is very organized with parent group chats, they do events with the Miami Heat court amd games. They also play in local Leagues which is convenient and as a sponsor in am beyond proud of this program. Great work to Junior G the owner and what he does for the community making sure no kid is left out regardless of the financial situation in the area. Great Job! We have been with Elite youth academy since 2018 and can’t begin to describe how great they are. They have multipleLocations, awesome trainer and experienced and none of their trainers are just volunteers orParent coaches. They have paid trainers only with a vast amount of skillsTraining and coaching experience. The owner is very respectful, awesome to the kids and parents and very dedicated. They are year round which is a big big + and they do tournaments, leagues, and practices are open for team practices and they also let you train 2 times per week for skills training! We’ll worth the $$$! Great job and we praise You Junior and coach Steve! They also get sponsors to help the kids and community and help with uniforms and fees for travel teams and tournaments! My 2 kids have been playing since they are 7 years old. We have played for multiple teams. We joined Elite Sports Miami and Elite Youth Academy Miami this year in January and its the happiest we have been thus far.Junior the owner is very attentive, kind, respectful, cares about the kids and program. Bad customer service which would not refund the money back for summer camp and uniform. My son didnt really learn much from this organization. only played one game for 11u team for the entire 3 months (not what the advertisement stated). He was 9 year old at that time.

Great environment for the kids. Clean and open facility. Year around teams for the all ages. My daughter loves the 2 practices a day and game on weekends.

Coaches work very well with the kids and the new indoor location is great! I had to take my boys out because it is kind of far from my home and my kids always have a lot of homework to do. I will definitely being enrolling them again once we near summer!

My son and I love this league! Weve been with them for 3years now and we wouldnt trade them for anything. Ive seen how much my son and his teammates have grown in this league. It is very family oriented. I love the fact that the kids learn so much from their coaches and how games are mostly indoor. With all the “leagues” out there to choose from, I speak from personal experience as a parent who has enrolled my child in several different leagues in the past. Yes, the others provided a place and time to show up with your child for practices and games but never did it feel as if it was a tight nit family who strives for the development of my child on and off the field.Gladly, I cannot say the same about Elite Sports Miami.Elite Sports Miami has provided an incredible outlet for the youth in local communities to come together and have a place where they can feel a sense of true sportsmanship and most importantly, provide them with a fun and safe family style environment. Absolutely love this league and its not just because Im a fan of the sport! How many times have you attended an organization but you arent even sure whos behind it? The people at Elite make sure that you know whos teaching and looking after your kids, theyre super cooperative and always friendly.The Sunday games gives you a chance to watch your kids hard work during the week and they are always full of energy offering a great atmosphere.

Very disorganized. Owner told me to pay online the registration prior to the first class. Big mistake. My son is 4 years old, was told the class would be with children his age. When we arrived to the first class, he was the only little one. His class was held in the midddle of tryouts for older boys. My son was extremely distracted. Tried a swcond class to see if there would be a change, but there wasnt. Same thing again. Impossible for a 4 year old to learn like that. I expressed my disatisfaction to the owner and asked for a refund. Its now been 3 months going back and forth with him on email and him pretty much lying to me that he was going to refund me. Still havent received it. Not recommended for little ones and definetly dont pay before trying the class.

Already officiated one day in this league and the difference compared to other Miami youth basketball leagues is huge. The owner is there all the time, they have grown extremely fast and I can see why. Theyre not just it in for the money. I was even allowed to pick my own officials to referee the games. Owner is easy to work with.

If you want your kids to advance in basketball this isnt the league or organization to come to.The practices are basically in whatever park they can find that is free and they cant play full court, theres only one coach for the entire team who doesnt work on shooting or dribbling skills but only on half ass defensive position...no dribbling, passing or shooting ever done.If you just want rec for fun go to i9 sports if b you want competitive and actual organized leagues this isnt it.Sucks...coach quit in the middle of the season

I had the pleasure of dealing with Elite Sports over a month ago as I was inquiring information for my son. They had a super quick turnaround rate to any/all questions and were extremely professional.

I refereed the league for one season and it was a big mistake. Traditionally, I like to take Sundays off to rest. However, since it was very close to my residence and I had control of basically all referee operations (which I had at no other place I work), I said why not?At first, I was getting paid and my referee partners were getting paid as well without issues. As the season (Spring 2016) went on, we began to receive bounced checks until it happened to literally every one of us. We ended up getting reimbursed in cash.Needless to say, however, for the last 2 weeks of that season, I have yet to be paid myself and reimbursed everyones money. To make things easy for the owner, I offered to pay my guys upfront and him just give me everyones money so I can pay them myself. It worked at first, but ended up costing me.PLEASE CONSIDER THIS COMPLAINT BEFORE REGISTERING WITH THIS LEAGUE. WHEN YOU DONT KNOW WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING, THATS A BAD SIGN!!! MORE THAN LIKELY, THEY HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY ME, BUT THEYRE KEEPING IT FOR THEMSELVES!! I WOULDNT DOUBT IT***THEY HAVE 2 CLOSED COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB. WITH ME, THEY WILL SOON HAVE A 3RD.

This league has a lot of basketball talent in all age groups. They have kids coming to play from all over Miami DADE County. I am a basketball junkie so I enjoy coming every Sunday to see the kids play and sometimes I stay to watch the next game as well just to see the talent. This is what I like about the league. What I dont like is some of the parents, coaches and at times,the management. The league allows some of the kids to play in a lower age group than what their age really is and thats a no no. Some of the coaches will not play all the kids on their team. When they do they play the kids that ride the bench for 3-4 minutes and then sit them back down for the duration of the game. The coaches that do this I feel only care about winning and have an ego problem. Some of the parents have a snooty attitude and then only want to sit with their little group of parents. This league needs help. Their needs to be transparency as far as the rules governing age. What I find in this league are some selfish coaches with an ego problem and always have some kind of angle to screw up the integrity of the league rules. I find that the management allows certain things to go on and dont put a stop to it because theyll lose money the following season. I find that some parents can be rude and disrespectful to other parents who just want to be with their group of parents because all their kids start. Its a real shame for me to see that the problem is with the adults in this league not the kids. Im talking from the coaches on down to the parents! People forget that at the end of the day, this is for the kids and NOT FOR THE COACH OR THE PARENTS! I have been paying for my son for the last 3 seasons and unfortunately this will be my last. I pay the league to have my son play not to have him ride the bench. The practices are far from where I live and I dont complain about that. Me and my son make the ride out there and spend lots of toll and gas money but I dont complain. My son tries his best in practice and on game day he plays 3-4 minutes for the entire game and HE DOES NOT COMPLAIN!! The part that angers me is how this coach seems to think it not a big deal. He doesnt talk to me or my wife about this and I even asked him once to please allow him to play longer and to no avail! He didnt even play him. I feel that kids weather one is more talented than the other should play. This is why I stopped coaching because of the BS that goes on but Ive never seen it like in this league. I drafted parents not kids because i wanted parents that care about the team not just their kid. I honestly would have loved to stay here but due to all these factors I cant. Very sad ....If your son or daughter is already in a team and have a coach its a good league to join. Because you can bring your squad and coach to play the season. But if you have a son or daughter and are not in a team, theyll fit them in some team but the problem is that the team has their kids already and your son or daughter will see very limited play and that sucks....
