Five stars for the ability to have dinner and catch a show right on South Beach! Tickets are inexpensive and the theater puts on some great performances! Recently I saw The Cubans. Our seats were in the very front row and felt like we were sitting right in the room with the characters. They sell concessions including wine, beer, spirits
We were intrigued as to the approach taken to the famous story of Anastasia. What was presented was a exuberant and highly entertaining take on the most famous child of the last Czar. The production was excellent resulting in brilliant sets that segued seamlessly from one location to the next. Colorful throughout, the players were marvelous with most engaging characters.
Great small theater on Lincoln road. Went to see cocaine cowboys - show sucks it was a political bashing of Cubans and trump which I get that from CNN everyday and I rather not pay to hear it at a show. But anyways, the theater is very south beach small and with nice decor. easy to park at the Lincoln road parking lot $10 for the night and walk to the theatre it’s only 1 minute. Staff was friendly and drinks were strong. Bathroom are small so expect to wait if you have to use them.
First time attending a play here and I was impressed with the theater. It is fairly small so all seats have a pretty good view of the stage. They have retained the art deco design from the 1930s which gives it a certain flair and glamour. Another plus is that its located on Lincoln road so you have access to a wide variety of restaurants and bars.
Excellent shows in an intimate venue: The Cubans, the life of Louis Armstrong amongst them. These were produced by Miami new Drama. Love to go there!
Great location, get there early to find a parking space. Theatre seats are centrally designed so no bad seating. Excellent Theater.
Saw a great performance of Chamber Music Society here. Seats are a bit close together but the acoustics are good especially for chamber music, not too cavernous. Overall very good listening experience.
We went to see The Cubans. It was good, not what I expected. I think I went with Que Pasa USA in mind. But overall, it was a great experience
Ive been seeing shows here for years. Its an excellent intimate venue. The talent is outstanding.
A wonderful world show was great!, amazing cast, direction, and production. I love the venue, small, cozy with excellent acoustic.
Brilliant original works being produced here.Highly recommend!Bravo to Miami New Drama.
The Colony Theatre is a small beautiful intimate theatre in a Landmark Building. No matter where you are seated, youll always have a great view of the stage and the acoustics are fabulous! Sometimes if a new play is being tested for demographic response, the director/producer and or writer will be there and introduce themselves before the show begins and request audience feedback afterwards. This is a lot of fun! (Its like a behind the scenes gathering. You feel like part of the family)!I Love It and go everytime I can! If you like theatre...DEFINITELY GO!!!
A lovely venue showing a cracking premiere of a Louus Armstrong musical that I hope gets a wider audience, it wd be well deserved
Great job restoring the place ! Excellent attention, clean and comfortable. The 3 shows We have seen since moving to Miami all superb!Excellent option for a weekend. Many restaurants around for after the show.Bring more shows, will continue to go. Thanks.
Saw Cocaine Cowboy. Loves the place. Loved the theater. Great seats. The only thing I would change is the bar. Way too long a line and inconvenient placement.
Cozy theater, but youll get surprise how good is the acoustic.
Not a bad seat in the house..only problem seats are small and a little uncomfortable.
Beautiful theatre with an amazing season of productions by Miami New Drama.
I like this place. Is just a little tough the parking. Just arrive early to take your time finding where you can park.
Beautiful Art Deco theatre in Lincoln Road, with a really solid programming of plays and events.
Loved the place, the show and the inside is spectacular!!!! The best of the best: Jonathan Costa!!!!!! Thanks for everything Jonathan
Good actors and very well organized
Beautifully restored intimate Deco-gem in the heart of Main St. Miami Beach. Not a bad seat in the house.
Great shows and a wonderful time
Amazing theatre with word class performances! Great programming for Miami! The historical art-deco building was first opened in 1930s as a one-theatre Cinema, and was restored in 2006 as a multi-purpose performance space!
Great place to see best show and theater performances.
Excellent intimate setting set off Lincoln Road great place to see excellent plays
Great place but the play (En la vida hay amores) was delay for 25 minutes!
Not a bad seat in this intimate little theatre. Loved my experience!
This historic Lincoln Mall theatre is one of Miamis most beloved acting houses which have shown films such as Rocky Horror Picture Show in traditional manner. Quite a fun place
Audio was really bad. The p lay, so so.
Great venue for performance.
Classic. I wish they had more real music events like the South Beach Jazz festival
It’s a great place. It allows you to connect with the performers. And it’s great to go out and enjoy Lincoln Rd
Pleasant space - good acoustics - very relaxed staff - positive and enjoyable experience
Family friendly even late in the evening. Very pleasant staff.
The best theatre in Miami. Michel Hausmann and Miami New Drama are doing such revolutionary work. 50 years from now will speak of them in the same breath as Steppenwolf, Wooster Group and the Moscow Art Theatre
A place to be only for the perform, or musical, thats it, nothing interesting. The 1800 do not help, the (concierge) window have a sign That said I will back in 15 mnts, but could be two hours. No parking
Nice old theater - corporate event there. Nice venue!
It is a quant Deco style theater that takes you back to that era. It is small to wherever you sit you will get a great view of stage. And it is large enough to enjoy the show.
Small theater but very cozy. Any ticket would be ok to see the performance.
Little, nice theatre.. cozy... well aired and comfortable.
An incredible facility in the heart of Miami Beach! You are guaranteed to have an unforgettable theatrical experience!

Awesome place
Wonderful intimate theater
Deplorable conditions and awful programs.
Great venue, very intimate.
Very impressive building
I started a refund for a double purchase and the representative said it was processed and would appear as a credit. I have called 5 times to follow up and the manager is always out or busy. It has been two weeks since the refund was supposedly processed. This is not a good way to do business.
Shows independent films and some classics
