For my 41st birthday we went on a diamond heist! This was more amusenment on Miami Beach than we expected! We are fun South Beach locals and wanted to do something new, different and lively. We were 2 adults and our 7 year old daughter….ALL 3 of us loved the clues, the game was super entertaining, a real scavenger hunt, and we are still talking about it. We are going to plan birthday parties here for our next visit!! It’s a great experience and we highly recommend it for groups!

Such a great place to play with your kids. I found this incredible place by accident. I am very grateful that I was able to find this place for my kids. Alex was on the front disk, and He assisted my inquiries quickly. He was a well-mannered guy and spectacular for his jobs. A five-stars satisfaction rating for you!

Loved it! My boyfriend and I did the BlackOps room and it was challenging but Taylor helped us get through successfully. Their rooftop is a great hang out while waiting. They have a decent drink selection. Cant wait to come back!

This is a great combination of Escape Room and Bar. Its on the rooftop level and so before or after the Escape room you can enjoy a variety of drinks on the outside rooftop deck. What a fantastic combination!As of Jan 2019 there were 3 rooms,: Diamond Heist, Black Ops and Panic Room. The rooms are all multiple area rooms without any climbing to get from one to another. There are some really great practical puzzles as well as words puzzles and numeric puzzles.We did all three on a day where we had some time to waste. 2nd room was $20, 3rd room was $10 ! Bargain!We escaped Diamond Heist with 13 mins to spare, Black Ops with 7 mins to spare and narrowly missed getting out of Panic room.We had a lot of fun. Between each game we relaxed a bit on the deck with drinks - they do a variety of beers and juices etc, but the only food available is chips or nuts.Danny and the team looked after us very well - great team!We *really* enjoyed this combination of escape room and bar.

Great atmosphere, nice staff. We went to all 3 rooms they have and enjoyed every time we visited the place. Its not just a room escape place, but also a beautiful rooftop lounge! Very romantic, with nice views. They have big jenga and other games to spend some time after or before escape. And fair prices

This escape room was great! My wife and I did the Panic Room by ourselves and we did escape. There was nothing overtly scary about it, but it did have a good creep factor at times. It had more combo locks than I normally like, but it was very straightforward and there was always something to do.

The staff was very nice. So nice, they gave us extra time to finish the puzzle. It was ton of fun! In a great location as well.

The panic room escape room was really good and even with only three people we got to the last step!

Highly recommend. I called them at the last minute for a birthday party for a 15 year old and changed the plans at least a dozen times. The staff was incredibly patient and responsive. They offered a great deal of options and their prices are reasonable. The kids had fun and even want to go back for another room!

We went for my birthday and had so much fun!!! Our guide, Alexa, was incredibly helpful and the amenities were really the cherry on top. The outside area was very pretty and the inside’s decorations were satisfyingly themed. We did the Black Ops room in under the hour we were given with about 10 people. I cannot wait to go back and try their other rooms!!

The last escape room we did elsewhere was high tech and completely different. Its called Fox in A Box Miami. The Lincoln Road one is bare bones and doesn’t feel like you are immersed in an environment. You can hear the radio outside the door and people. If youve done a lot of escape rooms youll be really disappointed.Positives:- Priced well. 10% off with code Sobe10.- Good location on Lincoln Rd- The magnet puzzle was very clever!Negatives:- just wasn’t exciting. It felt like a south beach 2 bedroom apartment converted into an escape room- There’s no music in the room. You can hear everything outside the doors including the radio on the other end. Just adding a nice sound system with some period specific music would help a lot. This is the first one I ever did without creepy or themed music. It adds to the drama.- There are blinds in the room concealing south beach outside. (I’d board up these windows or have really good blackouts)- improving the communication for clues not using radios. TVs etcThere’s great potential! I hope the ownership will invest in some technology and improve the experience!I’ll be back to try the others someday if they make improvements.

Worst experience I have ever had with an escape room - here is why and what you should be aware of:I wanted to have a good experience with three of my good friends. I booked the escape room (diamond heist) online and couldn’t wait to get there. BUT when we got there we suddenly got teamed up with two strangers who had to be in the escape room with us. The two strangers solved more than half of the challenges and me and my friends got no chance to get the good experience that we expected. ... even though the strangers joined our booking the escape room still charged us the full price!! So if u expect to get a good experience with your friends without strangers joining your escape room - then don’t book this place. (according to their website they are allowed and they will fill the rooms up with “strangers” in order to profit maximise their business)

It was sooo great! We were in the panic room, took us close to 80 minutes to get out - enjoyed every minute of it! Was great!!! Highly recommended!

An absolute winner! The crew at SOBE were fantastic - quick to respond, easy to work with and flexible with scheduling and our whole group. We had 20 people for a Corporate team event, more than half of which had never done an escape room before - and people are still talking about it! The venue is one of the best Ive seen as far as set up, the atmosphere is great and the rooftop patio is beautiful. Great for a small or large group. Highly recommended!

First, you have to figure out how to get in, and then how to escape. A totally hidden gem, right above busy Lincoln Road. You need a buzzer code (provided when you reserve), and to enter it on the smaller keypad on the right. Take the elevator up to the top. There are 3 excellent escape rooms, a bar and rooftop outdoor lounge.Over time weve done all the escape rooms. They are challenging, but hints are available and we have been lucky getting extra time.Excellent value for South Beach. Super friendly staff.

Staff was great, very friendly. It was my boyfriend and I first time doing an escape room. The staff was very helpful without killing the fun!! I am not from Florida but I will definitely come back again when I visit.

This place is great!! It’s so mind boggling and you really have to get into it but that’s what I love about it!! You have to use every part of your brain to figure things out but once you get something it’s a feeling of proud you get! I’ll definitely be back!!

Great place to go, located in an ideal spot. There is a parking lot right next door, and Lincoln road is near by as well. A good place to experience an escape room, and to also be in an excellent location for a meal or more.

Very low key in south beach but was a lot of fun. I would definitely come back.

What a hidden gem! Awesome rooms to go through and they even have craft ciders and beers! The outdoor deck offers amazing views of the city and overall extremely relaxing place to have a couple drinks with friends!

My husband and I were alone for their hardest room. Our hostess stepped in when she had to but didn’t overstep. I can see why a bigger group would be lots of fun and helpful with solving clues, but we still had a great time.

The host was very rude. We didnt even complete our room because of the bad experience. I booked three days in advance and when I got there she said another party was running late and we had to do a completely different room. Whats the point of booking early if we cant even do the room that we choose? And on top of it she lied saying that she has to close up at 11 when they dont even close until 12 at midnight! We would have definitely had time to do the other room. She also interrupted US during our time in our escape room saying were being too drunk and belligerent. We were just trying to have a good time.

What an amazing fun activity! I went to South Beach Escape Room as a team building exercise for 30 of my coworkers. The second that door shuts and the clock starts to tick down, all the stress and thoughts of work go away and you are 100% in the moment. Loved to see the group dynamics and how everyone worked together to ESCAPE! I would highly recommend this as a company outing or just a fun group activity! Also a big shout out to the team at South Beach Escape Room. So nice, friendly and helped a ton to make it a successful event for us!

First time at an escape room, so not much to compare to, but it was a ton of fun. The customer service was excellent! The price was great. We had such a good time on the beginners room, we came back the next day for the harder one and set the record for a three man escape. :) Rooms were a great mix of attention to detail, physical puzzles, and brain teasers/problem solving. I highly recommend this company.Oh one more thing to be aware of for people from out of town, parking in South Beach can be hard to find at times or expensive if you use a lot. Drive early. FYI

We just had our 9y olds party there - from planning to execution the staff was great and very attentive. The location itself is great and rooftop terrace is bonus. They were great with kids - highly recommend.

Celebrated my daughters 14 birthday and it was the best decision I couldve made. Owners are very personable and nice! Indoor space provides lots of comfort while you wait for the players or even just to hang out afterwards. If you prefer the outdoors the patio is AMAZING! Again they allow for a lot of flexibility with your party and the staff has an A+ attitude. They are very accommodating as well. I will return in the future! Everything is clean and organized. This a great place for team building events. Everyone had a great time. This venue as a great atmosphere and it was really cool that they had tables and a roof top area to interact with coworkers. The employees of the Escape Room were very helpful and accommodating as well as cheerful. They were great to work with.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This was my 2nd escape room, the 1st for my husband, and our 17 & 19 yo sons. We did the Block Ops room.We were challenged, and needed several hints to get ourselves unstuck, but the puzzles were solvable, with a LOT of brain power.Had a beverage from the bar afterwards, and enjoyed the evening out on the rooftop patio. A fantastic evening!

I went to the South Beach Escape Room yesterday and it was an awesome team building experience! I went with 11 of my coworkers to take on the Black Ops escape room challenge. This was my first time participating in an escape room and I was very impressed with the level of difficulty we faced. It took us nearly the whole hour to escape, but we did it successfully and it definitely accomplished the team building goal. Each of us had to work together to solve the many puzzles we were faced with. I would definitely recommend this for any company outing or any group thats looking for a nice challenge!

If you and a group of friends are looking for something different to do in Miami then Id try this place out. The building is easy to find. I came with a group of 7 and we did the panic room ( the most difficult). It was fun having to work together to find a way out of the room. It kept you on your toes. Prior to starting the game you needed to use the bathroom and put all your things away in a locker, once the game starts thats it. It was fun, exciting 60 minutes. I would want to try the diamond heist. The only thing I find disappointing is that there are only 3 rooms to choose from. Once you do all three thats pretty much it. I didnt ask, but Im assuming maybe next year they will start creating new rooms.All in all, try the place out. Its fun

We did two of their rooms back in February 2017, good puzzles overall and friendly staff. The view from the lounge area is great, being a couple of stories up.

With all the hype about room escapes I was a little skeptical, however this experience lived up to the hype. I came with a group of 10 (the maximum allowed), and we did the Panic Room (the most difficult room), there is also Mission Impossible, and Diamond Heist (the easiest). The room was incredibly well organized and explained, and tough enough to keep you engaged throughout the whole time. Overall a great experience, and a lot of fun! Definitely worth trying out.

Wonderful time! I went for my birthday with a couple friend and we loved it! The staff is awesome and really cooperative. They were really excited that we were there and excited when helping us through the walkie-talkkie. We played the Panic Room which was suprisingly challenging. Totally recommend this room escape! The place itself looks great and is well decorated!

One day like I had not enough, for sure you need several days to enjoy this precious city.

We have been to many different escape rooms around florida and this was very well done. We did the Diamond Heist and Black Ops rooms in one trip as a birthday (4 adults, 2 tweens) and had a great time. Black ops was definitely more challenging but we made it out with only one hint and 14 minutes to spare.

Went there over the weekend for a girls trip and found this place on google. Very fun experience and nice staff

We booked Diamond Heist for group of 5 men. We were having bachelor getaway weekend. We are all Deaf and requested staff ahead of time to accommodate 1 staff in room with us due that we are unable to hear on walkie talkie if we need hints/clues. The staffs were so friendly, patience, and willing to assist us. The Diamond Heist was so much fun and we didnt made it out but allowed us to complete the game in couple seconds after 60 minutes out. So close! Since we had so much fun on the first game, we requested to book next available slot game called Panic Room. The panic room was also fun and we made it out with 19 minutes left! If I ever stop by Miami Beach again, I will come back for Black Ops!

My group did the Panic Room and it was super fun. The woman who introduced us to the room was Taylor. She was super amicable and this was by far the best escape room Ive been to.

Came here about a month ago with a group of 7, I always wanted to try it so im glad I finally did it. The building was easy to find. My group did the panic room and we escaped but with the help from the people that worked there. The room was challenging but it was really cool to do, I like how they setup the rooms. It really makes you think and use your brain and its a fun experience with friends. They also have a really nice balcony with a great view at night. I hope to come back again and try the other rooms.

I want to thank the staff soooooo much for all of their help, assistance and hospitality. Recently (well over the weekend) my husband and I celebrated our birthday and it was soooooo Amazing! We rented all 3 rooms and rooftop was just awesome.The entire group had a Great time trying to solve the clues! It was tough and absolutely fun at the same time but we made it.
