Lakeview Park

Excellent little park with a brand new playground for the kids. There is a hiking trail that surrounds the lake and is a great place to walk your dog or ride a bike. There are several picnic shelters and many picnic tables and benches spread throughout the park. There are several RV camp sites on the camp grounds. Fishing can be done in the park from the shore or a boat can be taken out on the lake.

Wonderful and affordable place to rv camp. There is only electric available, but the cost is only $10 per night with a 14 day limit. Camp host is friendly and helpful. You are able to fish and kayak on the lake. Many fishing areas. Birdwatching and great area to walk the dog.

Its a great place to take your lunch break and look at the lake. My daughter now still will grab fast food and go sit and eat. It also holds many memories of both of my children when they were younger and playing on the playground.

They have NO common curiosity towards ppl or their property. They just park their tracked equipment where ever they want. And run over ur decorative blocks. Real professional company. NOT.

Lakeview has a great playset for the kiddos, a fairly decent little campground for tents or campers, and a very nice paved walking trail, as well as lots of wildlife and of course the beautiful lake!

Fishing sucks. Not very many places to fish from the bank. If youre in a boat theres not much structure or grass for fish to hangout in. Lake is also pretty shallow. Teal lake is alot better if you have a boat.

Lakeview Park is a picturesque community park. It features a lovely fishing lake with a covered, handicapped accessible dock. There are three covered shelters for gatherings. Thete are restroom facilities located near the largest shelter. This park, also, has an RV/Camping area with electric set up and dumping station. There is a nominal fee to use the RV/Camping sites. Lakeview has a well-maintained, fully-paved walking path that encircles the lake. The newest addition to the park is the renovated play area. The new play area features many interactive play areas and (while not completely handicapped accessible) is handicap friendly.

Love the new park! Great walking path for the kids to ride bikes and to walk the dogs. Visit multiple times a week

Im going to give this park one star, merely because there is a paved walking path and playground. Fishing, which is my goal, is pointless! There are too many anglers, I guess well call them, that come there to fish. My guess is that since its a city park, there arent any regulations to size so, lots of people taking with no regard to the fish population controls normally seen at Missouri Conservation Areas. I do still enjoy going there to put in the kayaks. If youre just trying to get outta the house and relax, go for it.

Beautiful peaceful park. Big fishing lake. Nice park and camping area. Several shelters with bbq grills. Walking lane around entire lake that is paved. Boat ramp. Eagle watching.

Fishing NO. Lakes needs to be dredged you can walk across it. It has shelters for gathering. A new playground for kiddos.You can watch the Geese and Squirrels. Not a bad place to just chill.
