Metropolitan Dance Theatre I s top notch. I danced at MDT for over 10 years and the dedication and talent this studio offers is awesome and exciting. Every year the recital is a showstopper and to watch everyone grow in class year round is a amazing. MDT is the reason why I now call dance my passion and am getting a college degree in it.The time and dedication that the staff puts into each and every dancer is astounding. The environment is always positive and loving, a great place to dance all styles and make friends along the way!

Metropolitan made me into the confident dancer I am today. Mrs. Jaune and the dance instructors are encouraging, kind, and talented, and give personal attention to each of the dancers in the class. It is a positive community of people that encourage talents and a love of dance through positive feedback. I have been to several studios and have not found an environment as wonderful as MDTNO. I found my family there!

Jauné has created a positive, supportive environment where every student is encouraged to shine. Her infectious love of dance is evident in every class, as well as in her former students, many of whom continue to dance either professionally or recreationally long after graduating and moving on. There are lots of studios in New Orleans where you can learn to dance, but if you want to learn to really PERFORM, Metropolitan is the place to be.

The teachers and staff are absolutely incredible. I’ve never been to a more welcoming and loving dance studio. The classes are full of new music and amazing choreography for students of any age and level. Also, these students are taught to not only just dance, but PERFORM, something I find unique to MDTNO.

I danced here for 12 years and loved every second of it! Mrs. Jaune is such a talented and caring teacher. She is passionate about what she does and makes class fun! The studio is such a welcoming and friendly environment, like a second home. Some of my best memories were made with my MDT fam!

So many factors went into finding the right dance school for our family. At Metropolitan Dance Theatre there is a great balance between technique and fun that keeps my little one learning and engaged. We appreciate that classes and costumes are age appropriate. We are so grateful for the professional and nurturing environment at MDT.

I cannot say enough about MDT! I had 2 sons that attended for many years. Jaune and her team are supportive, loving, understanding, and incredibly talented and creative. You not only learn how to dance but you learn to love dance.

I danced with MDT for 6 years and still love to help with recitals and visit with the classes, even in college. The MDT studio is such a fun and uplifting environment, promoting self expression and confidence. I grew up at MDTNO and have now graduated from college and returned home to the studio. Miss Jaune has a wonderful understanding of so many areas of dance and that is passed on to her students who become well rounded performance professionals. MDT is a very special place that many call their second home and I consider myself lucky to be a part of it.
