Ive been to this Museum several times over the past year, I love the idea of new exhibits and they dont disappoint. I loved the Hallelujah Hats exhibit and now they have Women in Aviation plus they have expanded on the historical founding families of the Mesa/Lehi area. If you want to take friends or visitors for a fun stop, I recommend this Museum.

Its tough to get excited about this museum when I had just visited the Tempe Historical museum--which is free and has much better displays. This is a former school building with displays in 3 rooms. The rest of the building is not really being used well as museum space. There is an outside exhibit or two, but not much to look at for $5. I saw everything in about 30 minutes. Try the Tempe Museum instead--much better...and FREE!

Attention to detail was the Mesa Historical Museum’s sponsored tour of the Mesa Cemetery. In their presentation were some famous and not so well known Including members of the RAF (British airmen killed while training at Falcon field in WW II) and the gravesite of Miranda. (You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be ....)Unlike most national museums that remain closed during this pandemic, I’m glad there is one local, educational place the public can frequent - safe, socially distance yet refreshingly with a return to normalcy

We always visit local museums when we travel and this one was a wonderful surprise. A small museum but it tells colorful stories about local history. I loved the one room school house. My daughter was impressed with the basket weaving demonstration. Definitely a great place to visit.

I came here with my grandparents and I enjoyed watching the basket weaving demonstration. I never knew how they were made. We also got to see other kids working a spinning wheel. It’s a pretty cool place.

An incredible piece of history. The historical building is being honored in a wonderful fashion. The exhibits are small but pack a huge punch. Very detailed exhibits provide a great learning experience for any age, take advantage of this gem before the masses find this treasure.

Great little local museum full of local info. Super cool to learn about things from the early time periods of Mesa and see the neat artifacts on display. Better for older kids and adults (3 yr old was less than impressed lol). Worth the stop if you love history!

A small museum on the history of Mesa. A trip down memory lane for older people with the treddle sewing machine, old saddles and a mimiagraph machine. There is a gentleman there that is very friendly and informative, made the visit that much better.

A sad excuse for a museum, certainly they could do better than this. A couple pictures. A couple antique common household items. Believe me when I tell you I was generous with a rating of 1. Don’t waste your time. There are antique stores just down the street with more character than this.

The display area is very small, but even so, about ten times more items could be displayed there. It tops my list of worst museums Ive visited. My expectations were low going in, but I was shocked at the lack of content. Its not like they dont have more exhibits that could be shown, either. The displays were so scarce and poorly done, I suspect something isnt on the up and up with the organization that runs it. Go to the Heard museum instead. This one is a waste of time.

Worth a visit. This stuff used to be located just North of Downtown in Mesa neighborhood of Lehi. If youre a baseball fan there it tells the history of the Cactus League that was started in Arizona with the New York Giants baseball team.

We were hugely disappointed in this museum. It is so small, you can see everything & be out of there within about an hour- after having read everything in the place. There are a few interesting relics but the flight section, is wasted, laughable space. They should have just left that to the awesome big aviation museum, nearby. We felt like we wasted $10.00 to look at it.

This museum shows up in google maps in the Lehi area and they even have a sign and items in the lawn but no sign tells you it moved!
