Mesa Arts Center is always a fun and more intimate setting for shows. The newer venue makes it convenient and accessible. We just went to the OK-GO show recently.Show was great, very entertaining and interactive. There was a point during the show that was especially interactive - audience participation requested!Pics are from the merch table and one of their more well-known songs, Here It Goes Again.Definitely recommend the show and MAC.

Nice facility with small and larger venues for performances. They have adequate dressing rooms. There is also a facility for a variety of art classes. Summer includes an art camp for children off from school. The art museum is small and not always suitable for children due to content of some art. Gift shop is nice. There is a nice water feature great as a photo opportunity.

Amazing choir & orchestra performance by MCO is worth at least 5 STARS. I love the environment in this beautiful building and the sound is worth coming back each year. The ordering of the tickets for MCO performance is really slow over the phone. Getting hung up on after a really long wait is normal. They fixed their online Ordering experience to only take 3 minutes and it was a dream compared to the past.Definitely going back each year!

This was the first time out to the Mesa Arts Center and it is quite the impressive complex. I will say that the venue organization for this particular event - Kenny Wayne Shepherd & Beth Hart Band, seemed a little awkward as far as the opening of the doors and entry to the theatre. The wait was until just a few minutes before the show was supposed to start before they started allowing patrons into the theater. My seat was in the Balcony row B seat 46, which left me with a view of about 2/3 of the stage unless I stood up - which in turn impeded other’s view. The sound system and acoustics was excellent. There is parking on site in a lot and covered garage along with nearby parking on the neighboring streets in the downtown area. There are a few eateries and watering holes within walking distance for before or after a concert as well for those traveling from out of town.

The Mesa arts center is a neat place to walk around, but definitely make sure to stop in the art gallery to take a peek at what local artists have on display. Good venue. Seating is staggered so you can see pretty good wherever you seat. The thing that wasnt good is if youre seating with a railing in front of you - its about the same height as your eyes as you sit back so, you have to sit leaning forward or at the edge of your seat to see good. Acoustics are great. Ive sat down front 3rd row and another time up in the balcony - sound was good everywhere. Comfortable seats but, up in balcony (in your row) you have to stand whenever someone is coming or going from their seat, the walkway is tight.

This is the best place in Phoenix to see a concert! At only 1,600 seats everyone has a great view, and the acoustics are perfect. We saw Dennis DeYoung and the vocals sounded amazing. Two weeks later we saw Dream Theater and the super heavy guitars and drums sounded awesome then too.Parking is convenient in the garage next door. They offer refreshments including adult beverages, and the ladies rooms were clean and without a line. This just makes the whole event experience that much more enjoyable, and the ease in which we were able to get out to our car and on the road is another reason we love this venue.

Had an amazing night last night having the privilege of seeing David Byrne (Talking Heads) in his utopia tour. The sound in this place is always well produced and mixed but last night I admit it was a bit muddy. Regardless, the MAC is just the perfect venue. Its well directed (people everywhere helping you) and well serviced. Its clean, beautiful, artistic, and well designed. The parking - cake and cheap. The bar and drinks are high-end, well poured, and you can bring them into the theatre. The inside theatre itself is stunning and I caught myself just looking up and around at times. Bathrooms are spotless and never crowded. A place like this can anchor a whole community and you can already see the impact in the stores and shops around it. It feels safe, clean, and classy. I cant imagine the cost of a place like this nor how it was funded - I probably dont want to know. I will say that regardless the cost, it is spectacular and a perfect place to see a show.

-Kevin O Leary show, and expensive food!-When visiting here for the second time since I moved here (to Arizona), I wasnt expecting an auditorium quite like this. It was very large, and could fit enough fans of Shark Tanks Kevin O Leary comfortably. The event itself was meh, they had a few paid promotions for real estate, and stock trading, but seems the most anticipated event was Kevins story. He was raised to a working class family, and learned the value of money through a series of hard knocks. While the event itself was ok, and the auditorium amazing, I cant believe the food prices! 12$ for a hot dog, 6 nuggets, and a drink! I felt like I was at the re- release of Marvels Endgame. I had to fork over my money, due to not wanting to miss Kevin.Great venue, unexpected prices on food; yet to be fair I shouldve expected as much... 4 stars!

My son had an unobstructed view of the show and the area where our seats were had no one to either side of us, nor in front. They were perfect seats for us. The only thing that would need improvement are the signs that are permanent, routed to the wrong box office to pick up tickets. Would have been perfect if an usher or security would have removed the drunk lady that kept yelling Minnesota... it was like a junior high girl that wants to be the center of attention and ignoring the problem didn’t work.
