Super motivated staff. Friendly, organized front ticket desk lady, I wish I remembered her name because she was so sweet and kind. The theater was clean. Movie previews were brief. Prices of outrageous so make sure you eat before you come and grab a big popcorn for everyone to share! This theater is nice and big and cozy

Seats could be a little wider and a little more comfortable. Prices however need to be changed. I understand paying the price for the movie, however I cant justify paying the prices at the concessions. It should not cost me over 6 dollars for a drink and the popcorn shouldnt be as much. The prices should be cut in half. I do recommend this place though as the movies are great and the staff is very friendly.

Took consumers from a job there and the staff at the counters was very helpful and patient with everyone. When one of them had an accident in the bathroom theyre way more accommodating and respectful than I would have imagined. Thanks guys!

Yesterday, my wife and I went to see the new Bad Boys movie. It was the first time that I found that we needed to change our seats due to another patron obstructing the screen by sitting in front of me in the line of sight of the closed captions showing on the screen. There were many closed captioning instances. Trying to maneuver my head so as to be able to read the captioning got old very quickly. I suspect that the patron in front of me and interfering with me viewing the closed captioning was not aware of what she was doing and did not intend to interfere with my enjoyment of the movie. I hope that I have never interfered with anyones enjoyment of a movie. In the future, I know that I will be conscious of my potential to interfere with another patron viewing a movie and will check to ensure that I do not do interfere! Regarding the movie, the movie was good and the AMC staff were very responsive to my inquiries.

Clean. Workers could of been more friendly. One worker pushed a vacuum into theater we were leaving with the cord dragging behind. And Im on a walker. She almost tripped me. And didnt care.

This is one of the least attractive AMC theaters Ive ever been to with old, stained open seating. Definitely in need of a remodel. My last choice for a movie but itll do in a pinch if were nearby.

Fairly clean great popcorn and friendly staff...seats could use upgrading but overall roomy and doable. Better to pay concierge because automated System take longer..go figure

Not updated like most of the theaters have been lately. Ticket sales was as expected and concessions also suitable.The reason for my 4 stars (rather than 3) is due to an excellent staff member. I had left my kiddo’s back pack under my seat and didn’t realize until I got home. I called and they made a special trip into theatre (that had previews started already) to check and retrieve it so I could run back for it. Thanks guys!

Love going here to see all the latest movies. Only downfall is that the prices for snacks even the pops are way to expensive!! If they can change that it would be perfect! And keep the bathrooms cleaner

Great staff. Good food. Very minimal selection of candy. Prices high. I have a family of five and even on Tuesdays we spend at least $100 on just the basics and tickets.

They need to upgrade the theater like they are doing all the other AMCs. Like the one in Lombard, IL. You can order food and dessert. They even have a bar. Indiana is always the last ones to get anything.

Now I realize why we go to the theatre only twice a year! 1:15pm showing on a Sunday. 2 adults. Tickets were $19! Large popcorn and 2 large drinks were another $26!! Now I know why Netflix and Redbox are so popular!! Great theatre but as far as Im concerned, way over priced!!

It was a regular movie theater. I would have preferred the seats to be a little cleaner and roomier but thats too be expected.

The employees have always been friendly however 90% of the time its always a mess at the concession area. The counters are a mess, floor is sticky, its far from what it should be. I understand it gets busy but when you see the first movie of the day it shouldnt be like that. The prices are high. Even with the premier card its still expensive if you want snacks.the refillable bucket however is a DEAL!

Worst theater Ive been to in a long time. The seats sit at nearly a 90° angle. Of course at a theater you have to sit in that for the whole movie. Absolutely ridiculous, update this place already, its been too many years. The only good thing was the drink machine with every flavor out there.

They keep the place clean! Everything else was great too. Except for the seemingly endless half-hour of commercials before the movie. But Im guessing this is true of movie theaters everywhere. Also, the volume wasnt deafening.

Its been at least 5 years since Ive been to this theater... And I could not believe how dirty and run down run-down it was!! The theater smells and the seats are filthy!! And also the popcorn was stale and the sodas and snacks are so expensive!! How do you even stay open?? Will never go back there again!!

First showing in the room and it wasnt cleaned. Pop corn, sticky, drinks, and napkins everywhere. So 1. The audience was disrespectful and 2. The staff didnt clean the room the night before. I had to throw away drinks and popcorn from the last viewing.

This was my first time going to this theater, and I was pleased with the service. I was not happy with the seats, though. Judging by other theaters I have been to, this place needs an upgrade asap! The sound was good, the popcorn was good, and the food was on point.

Okay, I tried to go to a movie and it was at 4’o clock, but you see, the policy says after 4’o clock you have to be over 21 and it was at 4 so I should have been able to go to the movie and 4’o clock is outrageous and the age 21? Horrible

Great theater. Always clean. Lines are never to long to stand in. I can expect great movie quality. I enjoy their pop corn and they have a standard selection of candy. I hope they get the chair upgrades soon, and this will be even more fun.

Staff needs to do a better job cleaning throughout the day. The popcorn buttering area was an oily mess because one of the machines didnt shut off when you let go of the button. Also the mens restroom was disgusting (I dont fully blame this on the staff). The theater we were in was very clean which was nice to not walk into a theater where the floor was sticky and full of popcorn.

My girl and I popped in after dinner to see John wick 3.. the lobby was a bit dim wasnt crowded tho that was a good thing. The theater we were in was small but we got good seats.. the experience there was ok

Dirty wall to wall. Filthy movie seats. A lot of seats were visually broken from where I was sitting. Actual yellow caution tape was down the center of one section of the seats.

My best friend and I went to see What a man wants today! I go to this theater quite often. It’s close to home and never to crowded! Over all always happy with my experience!

Classic means they didnt want to spend the money to renovate the theater. Old seats, cant buy tickets on-line, filthy bathrooms. Need to update the theatre and get people to check the bathrooms throughout the day.

It was ok. I like Cinemark more. Prices at AMC are much higher. Popcorn is very bland

My husband and I enjoyed our date nite except for the kid that wasnt ours that kept having to go to the bathroom twentytrillion times because the mom bought him a big sluggish.

This theater is always clean and often packed. The staff is pleasant and responsive almost always.Wish they offered indie titles.Down side:. Stubs program which lists express line for members ... They dont even pretend. You have to just get in line with everyone else. :)Overall, great movie going experience.

Its convienient they have decent prices I like the 5 dollar tuesdays so if your of work that day go in early and see a 5 dollar show, the staff is also pretty nice, and they keep it pretty clean, however sometimes the younger crowd can make viewing a movie undesireable as they talk and laugh through the whole movie sometimes even adults do this, other than that i would give a five star review. But not until they put a lid on the viewing disturbances

This theatre is filthy! Shoes stuck to the floor, trash everywhere in theatre #1, smells like fried food and stale beer. If you can get past that, they have a good choice of movies. Spent over $50 for two tickets, 2 drinks and a small popcorn.

I hate that they and their website refuses to show times for morning matinee movies. Even though you purchase your tickets online, you cant just check in at the kiosk. Everything else is good.

Good location. Good seats, but could be more comfortable. I didnt get food or drinks, so I dont know how that is. I went to a few different showings in the last few weeks. I went once on a Wednesday night to a 7pm showing of Mile 22 and had the entire theater to myself. I would think that is rare for a night show, but I enjoyed my special viewing!! :)

The movies stay in theaters for a long time, the food, (mainly popcorn), is good. The candy has nice variety and movie selection and rimes are good.

Came here to watch a film with a friend, the audio ended up cutting out midway through the first half. the young men at guest services accommodated us very professionally. i frequent this theater often, its quite nice.

I wont see another movie here again, too many people who have no consideration for other movie-watchers and a staff that does seem to care about much.I saw an 8:00pm movie on a Saturday and multiple times, people had their phones out (full brightness) for long periods of time. This happened even after security came in once. Loud people came and went throughout the movie. It was obvious they were theater-hopping.Toward the end of the movie, a person had a tablet out for their kid and it was blaring over the movie! Seriously, It was beyond crazy and many people were upset. I would give that tablet a better review than this theater. Ive never had a tablet with such a loud audio!I got the impression that staff wasnt that concerned with anything, which is why I wont be back.

Watched the new Addams Family movie and it was good enough for me.

This theater has a super friendly guy that takes your tickets. Hes friendly and super helpful. Hesthe only reason I give two stars. Otherwise, the service is very slow, the entire place is very unclean and very run down. The are only two reasons we go here: AMC has a great reward program and it is the only theater close to us

I like to go to this theater. But I dont like the fact that the Stubs Premier members dont get the red carpet treatment that we are paying for. Also, I dont like the fact that they took the kiosk out of the theater. When you paid for your tickets at the kiosk, you did not have to wait in line.

The staff was cooperative, and understanding. Treated us like people instead of customers. Management was amazing, watching them move between positions to help push people into their movies as fast as possible.Popcorn was amazing, and the pizza was incredible to eat.Only issue was the pop machines had run out of flavoring for lemonade and it stayed that way for a long time. Other than that, no complaints.

The service here is usually pretty good. You dont get a lot of attitudes here like you do at some movie theaters. And both ticket and concession lines seem to move at a decent pace. The auditoriums are clean and the sound is good.

I have all wonderful experiences visiting this AMC. Lines are short, employees are friendly and welcoming, and the theater is very clean. One of my favorite things about AMC Hobart 12 is the AMC Stubs rewards. I highly recommend guest to become premier members. It gives you discounts on food, 5$ off of ticket prices, and a special speedy line. Managers are always working, smiling, and trying to make the guest feel comfortable. I HIGHLY encourage people to visit this theater. Have an AMC AMAZING DAY! : )

I didnt get any popcorn or snacks so it was just a quick visit to the movies honestly. The movie price seem to be cheaper than the location in Schererville. The seats were comfortable but some of them were deeply stained. We went to see The Intruder which was ok.

I usually try to avoid this theatre. I took my cousin to see Shazam for his birthday in Avengers End Game. They were either under staffed or just not working efficiently. At one point I saw an employee bringing in a box, set the box down, take out her phone to check it for a minute, then picked up the box and continued to walk. Everyone moved like they were walking through syrup. We were in line for 35 min and missed the beginning of the movie.

I’ll never go here again!! This past weekend me and my boyfriend tried to see Goosebumps 2, a movie rated PG. We were asked for our I.D. and then rudely turned away because I was only 17 and there is some kind of 4:00 curfew. No teenager is going to see a movie after 4:00 and the theater is gonna loose a lot of money this way! But it’s all good, I’ll go to Portage 16 Imax. Way nicer and appreciative of ALL customers!!

AMCs are usually good all the way around anyways. Could be a bit cleaner, but as busy as these movie theaters are its hard to do. Depending on the day and time is how busy they are. And pretty much the rest is on the movie your going to see!
