It is a peaceful, serene & beautiful place.

Back to its natural state. Years ago I was up just after the dam was removed during a dry spell.. The old lake bed looked like a scar. Today its proof nature can recover. The river was flowing nicely and its sound comes up out of the dells as a perfect relaxing background noise.

You gotta hike down to the river

Not much parking..Great overlook of the river. Nice walk in the woods. The park down the road is a typical county park...not much there.
