We did the national treasures room and it was hard but we had fun. Nice setup and 3 other rooms to choose from. Nice price as well and due to the virus (I think) each room is a private room. Will be back as the other 3 room sound like fun also.

It was good. Boards can use a little love. Ours was a little shredded/broken and the axes wouldnt stick sometimes. Other than that, friendly people and there is a score tablet to keep scores and they can be viewed on a big monitor.

Axe throwing is really a fun group or family activity (older kids). The person assigned to our group of first time throwers really had some good advice. I suggest at least 90 minutes if youve never done this before. That gives you enough time to try different axes and try multiple techniques. PS You can bring your own food and drink.Went back a year later and it was still fun.

We had a really fun time axe throwing. My only complaint is that I didnt realize you had to/could bring your own food and drink. Next time, well come prepared.

Showed up and was promptly greeted. Was explained the rules and set off. We did the museum heist. It wasnt easy. Lots of fun and difficult. Will definitely be back.

Went tonight to Escape and did the Wizards Chambers. Was extremely disappointed. The noise from the axe throwing was so loud in the room was not able to hear the clues. When asking for a clue we did the thumbs up and it took about 5 minutes for the clue. So dim in the room was very hard to read items. Over all very disappointed would not recommend.

Really nice staff clean new escape room was very challenging, ax throwing was fun. BYOB and bring your own snacks/food. Try to use the same axe every throw to get better at it.

Good place to have fun with a small group of friends. The escape rooms are challenging and have a good setup, although a couple could use a little more light. The axe throwing is fun once you get the hang of it - folks with less shoulder strength might take a while to get it to stick. We have been back twice and want to try all the escapes.

We had a great time. Staff super friendly. We did the escape room and Axe throwing. Well worth the price. The Axe throwing is fun and just takes a little while to learn the proper way of throwing it, staff is well trained in showing the proper technique and they are there to make sure you will be safe.

Our group had a fun time at the Escape Room Mentor! We did the Board Walk Escape Room and escaped with 10 minutes to spare!! Then we did a 90-minute session of axe throwing. Great, fun way to get away from the office. Our host, Nick, did a great job explaining the games and running our different games. We were able to bring in our own food and beverages, so it made for a perfect after-work outing for our team! Cant wait to go back with a different group in December! Thanks!

I liked the experience but man the props need work. A LOT. Specifically the audio puzzles. I wont spoil anything for anyone who does the Wizard one but the audio button prop does not work when you find it. We did the same thing for 15 minutes straight and it finally worked. Just felt like we should have had more time added on for the puzzle not working. There is no way we could have done that room in 60 minutes with a malfunctioning prop. I mean. We tried the EXACT same thing. There was no way to move on without doing that puzzle. The game staff was very helpful and its not their fault, its the designers. Ill definitely be back for the axe throwing but wont be back for another escape room.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and we did the wizards chamber which was one of the hardest rooms, and it was so much fun! That was our first escape room ever so for beginners we didnt do too bad I think we got about 60% through! The second time we went was with my whole family and we did the boardwalk room, it was a lot of fun and we actually escaped that room it was one of the easier rooms! The staff is so friendly and informative during your visit and I highly recommend!

Just did the national treasure room it was a great room. Well put together! All the clues flowed together it was so much much fun. Great and friendly staff. Best escape room experience Ive had! Also had the chance to thorw some axes defentily a must try! it was a great over all experience!

I am an escape room addict and I have been to this location and played almost all their games now. I think the decor is pretty good. The only thing I didnt enjoy about the rooms was the open ceiling, which can get loud if teams are in other rooms nearby. The puzzles were all pretty unique and home grown, which was awesome. We got super frustrated with mechanical parts that werent working any more that were no longer part of the puzzle flow, but were in the room. They called them red herrings, but that was just a bummer because they would have added to the room.

Who knew axe throwing could be so fun and stress relieving. Jon was our instructor and a good one at that. Had such a great time with my family. Would definitely go back. A must try! Thanks Jon!

I booked my birthday event at Escape Room mentor and Axe Throwing and I’m glad I did! My friends and I had an awesome time. It was beyond my expectations for sure. Our coach, Jerome was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and by the end of the session, we were doing trick shots! This was one of my best birthdays yet!!!! Thanks a lot guys!

Besides having some of the best Escape Rooms around they also offer Axe Throwing. It’s so much fun and they have special offers for date nights. It’s such a great alternative to typical date night ideas. I highly recommend and if you don’t take my word for it you should check it out for yourself.

We had a fantastic time. We had a few practical lesson in ax throwing; had plenty of time to practice and got 1:1 coaching from Jon if when we needs it. Then they had games for us to play which were awesome. It was so so enjoyable; I would recommend to anyone. It doesnt take as much strength as you think so almost anyone can do it. Coming back next month with my company for a huge Corp event can’t wait!

All I wanted for my birthday was a fun escape room experience and Escape Room Mentor did not disappoint!!! A fun themed room that had the Wizard fans attention but didnt alienate those in our party that couldnt make Accio broom jokes. It occasionally got hard to hear and understand the clues due to our proximity in the building to the ax throwing, but the attendants were quick to give us the words to the puzzles again if we struggled. We thoroughly enjoyed our time

My family has done numerous escape rooms (many successfully) and this definitely fell towards the bottom of our list. First, when you come in you have to walk through the crowd of people throwing axes to get to the rest of the place. Then, the room we were in was the very first one, with no ceiling, so we were basically in the same room as the axe throwing. The group out there was so loud that we couldnt hear half of the clues or when things were unlocked. Also, whenever we asked for a clue they were very slow to respond, so Im assuming that they must not have a dedicated monitor for each room. At the end of the game when we told the monitor that we couldnt hear half of the clues, they just said yea, its busy out there. Would not recommend this place unless you go on a slow night.

Had a great time! This was our first escape room and even thought we fell short of our goal it was a great experience and we were very impressed with how involved the rooms were! Will definitely come back!

Had a great time, some of the puzzles were challenging (as they should be with an escape room). Absolutely loved the experience that me and my friend had. The two of us managed to finish the Pirate room with 43 seconds left and had a blast doing the puzzles. The lady there was very helpful and amazing at her job. Had a great time! Would recommend this place to everyone. If you want to have a great time than definitely try this out. Will definitely be coming back.

Finally!!! They opened a good escape room close to me. The games all looked awesome. We ended up playing the wizards chamber and it was by far the best game I played and I went to a good amount of escape rooms. The clues made sense, the experience was exciting, and it had the right amount of difficultly. The staff was kind and courteous and knew the games well so they knew when they needed to jump in and help out without ruining the game for us. Absolutely recommend going here!

I loved the illusionist . The clues were interesting, the decor was realistic and the challenge was just right. Not too easy but not too hard. It was so much fun. A different way to spend some time while visiting family and friends.

Very fun experience for the whole family. Our group of 10 ranged in age from 8 to 64. Each added something unique in finding items and solving puzzles. Some puzzles and steps were easy and others were a little harder . It was a great challenge!Our host Jay was fantastic. He was the consummate professional as he monitored our progress, gave hints that helped us refocus when we were stuck, and was very encouraging throughout. Been to other escape rooms but this one by far seems to have been the best! Highly recommend.

Im an operator for Avis and budget location, we flew in to Cleveland for a 3 day seminar on our last day they surprised us with a fun team building event for about 25 -30 of us at Escape Room mentor here for and outing we had a blast. It’s super organized and the layout is nice! We tried our hands at the National treasure and Wizards Chamber afterwards we convened in the lobby for food and drinks and AXE THROWING which was a blast! The Employees and management are super friendly and we are already planning our next event there in the fall! Can’t wait!

As an escape room veteran, I highly recommend escape room mentor. I played through The Wizard’s Chamber and highly enjoyed it. The room was more detailed than many rooms I have been in before, and there were multiple high-tech props that surprised us whenever we weren’t expecting it. The room provided an above-average challenge, which many such high-tech rooms don’t do. At the end of the day, I greatly enjoyed my time here and look forward to playing again.

Did the Harry Potter themed room. It was very atmospheric and very well designed. Managed to escape and had a blast.

So. Much. FUN! The game was so interactive and well planned. My group got so immersed in the story that the hour felt like it was only ten minutes. Multiple puzzles to solve that all required different strengths so no one was left out. This was my first time at an escape room and I will 100% be checking out more.

A family member convinced me to join a group to go and try. Really did not think I was going to enjoy it. I was TOTALLY wrong. It was a absolute blast and cannot wait to go again. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely something fun and different to go and do with friends.

What a great night! We did the museum heist for my friends birthday with a bunch of the guys,and it was an adventure. We did the medium difficulty room and completed it with 5 minutes left! Jay was an awesome host/ hint master. Overall it was a great time, and youve gained a return customer.

We had a BLAST! We have done many escape rooms, so when we arrived at this location we expected it to be a typical escape room but we were wrong! This is unlike any escape room I’ve ever been to the rooms are amazing! And the game we played (The Wizards Chamber) really forced us to work together and use our noodles to get the job done! We strategically had a plan prior to going in which helped maximize our outcome. The customer service was great, Tiffany was a great game master!The room was themed so well with great clues. We enjoyed the this experience so much that we are planning on doing it again!

A lot of fun, but after two rooms, there were 4 obstacles that didnt work properly and made things more difficult and/or time-consuming. They just need to make sure everything is fixed up and all will be great!

Good escape room challenge, but NOT ideal to have people not in your party joining your group to solve the challenge. The escape room was very clear that unless you purchase all the tickets that the room could hold (up to 10 people) others could be added to your group but I did not expect that we would have that since most of the rooms were not reserved that evening. But of course, our group was paired with another. It really hurt the expereince not knowing the other people and with a group of 10, people were working on many of the puzzles all at once and it hurt our chances to successfully complete the challenge. I guess if we do this again, I will not make reservations ahead of time.

My group had such a blast at Escape Room Mentor! We had a few people in our party that were running late, and they happily accommodated our group to go at a different time with no fee or hassle. Tiffany and Austin were so nice and I will definitely be returning.

This was one hour of pure fun. We had a group of four and each of us solved different parts of the clues. Great way to spend time with good friends or family.

My companion and I did The Boardwalk. The theme was different and fun. It had a lot of puzzles that were generally fun and challenging. There was some obscurity in the room; however. For instance, you need to put something here but here was some specific place in a rather large spot. There was actually a time where we had the puzzle correct but the spot wrong, and the gamemaster didnt even know it was the wrong spot and had to help us progress with the game as she, too, thought something wasnt functioning properly. Escape game participants want to figure out puzzles and find things...not get frustrated when something is skewed from the right spot. I would try other rooms when back in the area.Several months after my initial review, I revisited to try the Wizards Chamber with a friend of mine. It was a very tough room - their toughest. I have successfully escaped very tough rooms before in my typical group of 2 escape artists, but that happens with a little more help from the gamemaster friend. Pursuant to the rules at Escape Room Mentor, two minutes were deducted from the clock in each of those instances. So, in the end we spent less than 60 minutes in the room and were multiple puzzles away from enjoying all of it. Because I want to enjoy all of it, I tend to lean toward places with hint systems that allow me to do that. I would encourage places to use hint systems that would do that. For instance, add two minutes to the overall escape time but dont decrease my time in the room. The other suggestion I would have for this particular room is to include audio cues when solving a puzzle in one room opens up a new puzzle in another room. Often, its not clear if the solution is correct and you then waste more time trying different solutions on an already solved puzzle...or if simpler, allow your gamemaster to cue the escape artists that the puzzle is solved and to look in another room for what was unlocked.

So frustrated at not solving the room we went too.... We are now addicted to escape rooms.. amazing place

We went here for an office team building outing. We had such a blast! A lot of work and details went into the rooms and the owner is very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend, even for couples (may need marriage counseling afterwards, proceed with caution). We escaped!

This was the best escape room I’ve ever been to!!!! I took my girlfriend to Escape Room Mentor for her birthday and we did the museum heist room. It was challenging and fun, it was incredibly nice, fun, and enthusiastic.The room is made for 8-12 people, but since we went on a Tuesday at 8pm we were the only ones there which made it much more challenging, but we were soooo close to solving it.At the end Austin ( our game keeper) also was able to tell us where we went wrong/missed clues (since we were the last ones there) which made it so nice and I wasn’t leaving and wondering what the rest of the clues were, which would have bugged me until the end of time.Again, this was the best escape room I’ve been to. If you find yourself in mentor wanting to have a fun and challenging adventure, make sure you go to Room Escape Room mentor!! The place is first class all the way!

Friend told us about this place so we drove all the way from youngstown Ohio.This event was AWESOME!!! We had 8 people between ages 12-52 and all of us worked together. It was very exciting and worth the adventure !

Did the Boardwalk game and was unimpressed. Staff and clues seemed good, the equipment however failed to the point of having two staff members figure out switches. Difficult as it was, def a terrible experience.
