Top notch facility that understands the importance of keeping everyone safe and healthy! This YMCA is not only super clean, the variety of cardio and weight machines are just what you are looking for in a fitness facility. The group exercise instructors are great motivators and make your movement so fun - you dont even realize you are actually exercising!

I like the classes for older adults. I enjoy the opportunity to walk the track. I hope to take pool classes in the future. The facility is close to my home. The staff are friendly and helpful. The participants are fun to exercise with in class.

Like the place. Been going since 2012. I like the diversity of the crowds: Single people to family people. I dont like going to gyms that have only 1 demographic: like just people between 20-30. Feels like those people have too much stress. Some gyms play too much loud music and I find that annoying, because I want to listen to my OWN music. Not have to blast my own music to override the gyms music. You know what gyms Im talking about. The YMCA doesnt do that. The facility is clean. They have all that I need. Free weights can get crowded during rush hour times. Same with any gyms. So really up to you. Best of luck!

Love all the morning swim classes. Matt is a gem. His aerobics classes are always packed. Aqua Zumba with Dalilah is so much fun. Laurel has a great joint effort class that has great music and lower intensity.

Love this place. Friendly staff. Not too crowded.

I enjoy various classes they offer, specifically yoga, Zumba and body pump, child watch is great too.

I’ve been there before but some staff members need to be a little more respectful and decent considering how they yelled at my friend for asking his dad if he could get us in. They made all of us feel so unwelcomed and annoyed because of the front desk lady who wasn’t respectful or patient, she looked at us like we were reckless teenagers and kicked us out. Like if some staff members could be decent for once it’d be a way better, and more enjoyable experience

I work for Alto-Shaam which is also in Menomonee Falls WI. I have had the pleasure of working with Aaron Miller and the staff with team building activities such as Build a Bike and Build a Bear. Aaron opened up the YMCA for us to use for these events and we were able to donate the items we built to children in Menomonee Falls. We were able to present the bikes to the children while at the YMCA and what a touching moment because not only did we give back to the community but we gave the bikes to 4 children who never had a bike before. What an experience.Aaron and the facilitator coordinated the entire event and I am so appreciative of what the Tri County YMCA of Menomonee Falls did for us as a company. Thank you!

Broad programs and exercising equipment/facility available to the family. Pleasant helpful staff. A good place to meet down to earth people with similar interests.My wife and I frequently use this YMCA. It has had and continues to have a positive impact on our lives.

Sadly my experience today was completely opposite of what the Tri County YMCA has posted on their website. They have stated that:“From the friendly staff to members connecting with one another, you will find a welcoming atmosphere at the Tri County Y. “Yet, as an away member I was told that I could not bring my 3 year old granddaughter into the YMCA. The lady at the desk made me feel like a 2nd class citizen. She said that I am already considered a guest at this YMCA and I am not allowed to bring my granddaughter in. To my surprise she would allow me to “Check her in” to their child watch, after a long processes of Licence identification, pictures of both of us, etc., which in my understanding is taking much greater liability and stripping both of us of any Grandfather/Granddaughter bonding and memories. This YMCA in Menomonee Falls has NOT demonstrated a welcoming atmosphere in this visit! I do understand that this was only one employee, but if that is how they are trained it is sad! I visited the Oconomowoc YMCA as an away member and they welcomed me and both my granddaughters giving me a guest pass for each of them. That was within the past year. I can only hope that if the Tri county YMCA is going to post “a welcoming atmosphere” that they also do some training to improve their presentation, unless it is their policy to treat away members as 2nd class citizens and deter them from using their facility.

I like the friendly staff, the clean facilities, and the fun atmosphere and equipment. I also appreciate the vigilant presence of life guards.

Great swimming lessons, my kids have really grown as swimmers under the instruction here.

This location needs to change their name as they do not follow any other YMCAs in what they do. They don’t offer day passes, members of other YMCAs cannot bring guests, the financial aid membership form is different from the other YMCAs. So upset because the YMCA used to have good values and was for the benefit of the public. This location has turned it into a private gym rather than one where everyone can feel welcome and comfortable.

Closed on Memorial Day . Ugh. And most holidays . Family changing rooms are small and always dirty. Meanwhile the two huge under 18 rooms go unused . Wish I had a dollar for every time the family pool or slides were closed due to lack of staff . Going to quit soon

We visit this gym 2-3 times a week. When my husband and I walked in, checked in members were asked to take a free Granola Bar for Membership Appreciation Day 3/15/16. We were checked in and werent ask to take one however the family behind us were. I didnt think much of it and just thought maybe she forgot to ask us. However when my husband forgot his headphones in the car and with his membership card being in the locker, he had asked the staff if he could go out to our car and come back in. That staff wasnt being very friendly about him asking her. After returning from the car, he got in line to confirm that he had already checked in and saw that the staff again asked everyone else to take a Granola Bar besides an African American Family. He was quite disappointed about how that staff had treated other families different from White families. My husband is not one to complain but it really bothered him. He then mentioned another occasion with the same staff when he came to the gym alone. That particular staff was on the phone and typing. He was trying to be kind and waited patiently for her to be finished. When she was done, she didnt acknowledged his presence and continued to type not checking him in. After 2 minutes of waiting and the arrival of others, she finally checked him in. He again didnt think much of it instead just thought she might have had a bad day. Again my husband is not one to be confrontational or a complainer. But by the time he mentions it to me, it is really bothering him and since it is, we are considering a different gym despite we enjoy working out there.

I visit the Y 3 to 4 times a week. Staff is courteous and professional. Instructors are knowledgeable and provide health info for students. The facility is clean and inviting. Members hang around talking with each other. I love it!

Do not come to this gym! I’ve been a member for years and go to the ymca in west bend, Pabst farms, and Milwaukee. They all give us towels and sweat towels. But this at this gym I have to pay for this stuff! They said that I’m an outsider! WTAF! Unacceptable service!

The instructors for the pre-school aquatics classes are exceptional. They work with each of the kiddos and focus on each of their strengths and weaknesses to improve their abilities while in the water.

Today my family went to the menomonee falls Ymca and experienced racism and harrassment from one of the staff members that works there. Highly disgusted and disappointed that they allowed their staff members to treat people in such a manner. I will never attend that location and I am really reconsidering my membership with the Ymca!

Ive been a YMCA member for over 20 years. I recently moved to Sussex and have a family membership at the Manitowoc YMCA. I was told that my membership is not valid here and that I would have to purchase an ADDITIONAL membership to use the facility. When I mentioned that I was confused because my membership has been accepted at numerous other YMCAs in the state and in Michigan (Iron Mountain, Stevens Point, Waukesha, and others), the man behind the desk belittled me and made remarks such as its all my fault because I make all the rules I also make the no towel rule, do you have an issue with that? and other similar comments. Only after I told them that I will find somewhere else did they try and cooperate and work with me. I have never been treated like this at any facility and thought that the YMCA cared about their guests more than the money they can make off of them.

Was a great place until Waukesha took it over. Since then they got rid of all the Les Mills classes so now instructors have to make up their own routines. Because of this most of the instructors left. Because of this they had to cancel many of the classes... On top of that they got rid of towels for people to use while working out and other things like that.They took away every reason I had to go there so we canceled our membership.

The other members and staff are wonderful in my experience. However, they spent a lot of money revamping the entrance but neglected to provide private showers for male members. The female locker rooms do have private showers, however the male locker rooms do not. Perhaps this was fine in the past, however I have seen a rise in a priority of privacy and I feel this choice greatly hinders the YMCA from becoming a good gym. I do go workout and shower often, but this poor decision makes me feel a lot of younger members will go elsewhere. I contacted the spokesperson of they YMCA for Menomonee Falls, and he told me its something theyve considered, but isnt the entrance really inviting? Im sorry, but I feel the YMCA has lost touch of the changing culture, and despite my continuing attendance, and being a member for 30 years, i feel like they are now wasting money and I myself am looking to change gyms.By the way. Im agnostoc, and pro LGBTQ, but isnt denying a private shower denying freedom for these individuals? I understand a fresh entrance is appealing, but so is being tolerant to everyone, something the YMCA clearly doesnt care about.Additionally, I was in the locker room about 1-2 weeks ago. A man collapsed in the showers. A witness (upon seeing it) pushed the emergency button right next to the showers. It took more than 5 minutes and two men to run out of the locker room screaming for help to have 4 women respond to an area where at least 5 naked men were attending to someone. I myself am a nurse, I had just arrived, but was assessing the situation, however I felt it was a very inappropriate response time and by an inappropriate team.Based on recent visits, and visits in the past back to the early 90s, I would never allow a grade higher than 1 star, and feel even that is generous

I love the Tri County Y staff and their newly updated facility! They are absolutely the place for our families.

Worst gym you could possibly go to. Hours are ridiculous. Who closes a gym at 5 on Saturday and Sunday? Some people actually have jobs and work 8-4 on weekends too. I got there this morning at 7:15. I listened to the voice recording on there answering machine and it said Saturday:6am-5pm. Closed. No one was there. Staff is unfriendly and rude at front desk.

Ive been going there for the last 10 years of my life, a lot of people complain about how the y has changed since it was taken over by wakusha, I havent noticed any differences except for the hours. If your just looking for a gym to lift at its meh, but if you use the swimming pool and gymnasiums and classes, its pretty nice.

I go to several different right YMCAs they made me feel unwanted when I attended this one because my membership was initiated from the Milwaukee Ymca. Not the best customer service.
