We had my daughters baby shower at Allied Arts Guild during COVID-19. Not as many people were able to attend in person because of the virus. So we set up a Zoom meeting so others could attend too! The in person experience was great! The staff was quick, courteous, and professional. The food was very good too!Unfortunately both the WiFi at Allied Arts Guild and 4g cell service is poor at best. The experience on Zoom was not acceptable. Ended up our Zoom guests had an OK time chatting amongst themselves but didnt get to see much of what was going on at the baby shower.Allied Arts Guild really needs to improve their WiFi before any sort of video conferencing could be used successfully there.
The gardens are nice and very well maintained was there during the restrictions . So did not get to see all that it has to offer but plan on returning soon
This is a great little place in Menlo Park.I think its a good place for weddings as there is a photo everywhere and everything is so beautiful around. I love the art stores, the flowers in the garden, the trees, the pottery Barn and the barn doors. They make a great setting for any celebration. Love the staff who make everything work so perfectly well. This is a true gem in the area. For a photographer, this is a golden place because its so easy to compose your photos. Im a true fan of this place.
We used this for a styled shoot - this event venue is highly photographable, with gardens and lush greenery everywhere! We set up a small 6ft table by the cafe and shot all detail shots, a cake table on the lawn, and the couple all over the venue. Staff is very lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend!
There’s so many lovely shops with fine jewelry, leather work, pottery, stationary, consignment vintage housewares, gifts, cute socks, beautiful bed linens made from Indian Saris. A great place to take advantage of local shopping and supporting artisans rather than corporate greed. Profits support Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital.
Idyllic small Spanish style compound with nice gardens, a few artisan stores, and a cafe. A great spot for pictures or a quick relaxing stroll.
Very nice and quiet garden (weekday)with abundant flowers.
I attended a family wedding at this location. The gardens are beautiful and many flowers are in full bloom. I was amazed to see how large the park was. There are many little stores containing interesting objects of art, plants and even what looks like a music rehearsal space. There were a couple of restaurants there as well. Lastly, there were restrooms available throughout the park. It was the perfect wedding venue!
GREAT FOOD AND OUTDOOR SEATING FOR LUNCH
Beautiful and special gem. Flowers, fountains, benches, paths, artists spaces. Gorgeous.
Lovely place to visit. I feel like it’s a free version of Filoli
I didnt even want to go, but Im glad I did. So many great photo opportunities, but here are my favs!
A beautiful place to spend a couple of hours! The guild is fun to explore and the artisans are always friendly. Great shot for photos, too -- would recommend for family photos, etc.
Food was delicious and ambiance was beautiful!
The Arts Guild is great...a rich history and beautiful grounds.
Hidden Little Gem Tucked Away in The Cutest Neighborhood in Menlo Park, With Lots of Cute Places to Roam. I often like to walk the grounds & enjoy the gardens, artwork & shops. It’s a great place for weddings, business ventures or just to enjoy a cup of coffee. Haven’t eaten at the restaurant but I’m sure it’s amazing.
Gorgeous, peaceful place with lots of seating for picnics.
A beautiful historic house and an artfully arranged garden with a cafe and some adorable art shops in a very quite neighborhood. Its a little gem in Menlo Park, go visit it.
This place is beautiful and has some great artisan shops. Perfect for l breaks during long medical days at Stanford. Check it out
Amazing cafe, beautiful garden, very covid safe
Beautiful garden to walk. A couple of small stores
What a treasure this place is. Several great little shops with unique and delightful items. Plus the Cafe Wisteria restaurant with outdoor seating and delicious food. The hydrangea and roses and mediteranean architecture make it a little wonderland.
Our son had his wedding here which was executed really well. The location is lovely with flowers all over and interesting historical installations.
A great venue. Beautiful gardens and delightful food.
A hidden gem. I have been living in the area for 10 years, and I just discovered this place. Absolutely lovely for lunch or a stroll.
This is a group of artists in a park like setting that sell there wares. This in a somewhat hidden part of Menlo Park. There is a good restaurant there. The grounds are nicely landscaped. The barn has a furniture repair shop, and they do refinishing. A good place to spend an hour or two.
Allied Arts Guild is so beautiful! We love to go there, but it was bad today, first of all not enough bread for 5 of us even we ask, second the waitress who is a fat Mexican lady automatically add 20% tips without asking, we feel it was rude.
A great quiet spot to walk around and visit shops with items made by craftsman. I had lunch in the Wisteria restaurant, nice but a little pricey.
Quaint gardens and cute artist cottages as well as a cafe.
Beautiful traditional Spanish / Moorish Architecture and exquisite gardens. Restaurant was good enough.
Wonderful treasure tucked in Menlo Park. Beautiful environment. Quaint. Great food cafe.
Nice place to shop flowers, art, eat and drink a cup of coffee, walk and relax.
Love this place!Very serene and laid back.
If you like to be in contact with nature. This is a beautiful place to visit!
The food at the restaurant is good. Everything is full of art here. Old world charm.
Not recommend for wedding. 7000$ for site rental fee only which includes poor tables and chairs. The reception place looks messy, dark and poor which needs a lot decorations. 175$/person for poor food...
Cute place. Looks like an old house that was converted, but apparently they built it to look that way specifically for this center. A lot of cute shops. We stepped in to look at things when we were there, but we were at the center to attend a friends wedding. I dont know what it is like on a regular day, but there didnt seem to be a lot of people there that werent attending the wedding. Im not sure if its busy on a regular basis or not. Im not sure we would go back as we dont normally visit places like this, but it was very nice and pretty.
The first time that I was brought to Cafe Wisteria for lunch I recall being very impressed with meticulously manicured grounds bursting forth from this kind of secret garden hidden in a sleepy residential neighborhood along side the creek which runs parallel to Sand Hill road. Its a quick getaway without traveling far off the beaten path. Its grounds are filled with a variety of flowering plants that theyve somehow orchestrated with the seasons so that there are always flowers blooming from under foot, climbing the walls and dangling overhead. (though spring and summer have the most). Its refreshing to slow down from a busy day and just enjoy chrisp air filled with the pleasent melody of birds singing and the bees hard at work. If your having lunch, I recommend asking to be seated outside on sunny days. If available, the tables which line the edge of the cobble fountain, shaded by a gnarled and knotted giant Oak are my favorite . The Café menu rotates seasonally & Im told is geared towards utilizing local & fresh ingredients as much as possible. The Dungeness crab eggs Benedict is rich and creamy with fantastic texture and balance. Im also a fan of the french dip sliders on mini toasted brioche, filled with tender slow-cooked brisket and served with a Tangy Au Jus.... delicious!
Beautiful landscaping. Great venue. Wonderful food. Superb artists.
Park and Artifacts for fun and amusement.
Superb setting and delicious crab benedict
Good place for children.
Beautiful facility, amazing gardens. Highly recommend
Worth visiting if youre in the area. Located in a quaint Spanish country house style building. There are some stores selling art and handicrafts for different budgets so I recommend taking a look if you need to buy a nice present. Theres also a café with good food and a very nice atmosphere
Wonderful place
Feels a bit worn out, with great exterior and not so good interio
This place is so beautiful, the garden is to die for.
Friendly local artists. Nice for walking around on the weekends. Pretty courtyards and gardens. Tucked away in Menlo. Also a great little cafe for lunch.
Enjoy spending a few hours here when I visit the South Bay. Lovely neighborhood to walk around. The Rose garden is beautiful and fountains offer a quiet place for meditation. The Portola Art Gallery is fun to look around.
Very tranquil place I had no idea about even though I live less than a mile away
Cheery gardens, giant ornaments in the trees, fine art.
Hidden gem of my fair city.
A shadow of its former self. Café pleasant, and food/service are about average. I think it is relying on events. The entire venue has changed beyond recognition. Shops have closed or moved away. Christmas is no longer a major event. Sad.
Escape the city in the wonderful gardens well cared for by knowledgeable staff. A great cafe on premise makes for a pleasant outing.
Nice and beautiful place for hosting various events
Beautiful gardens and a great place to hold parties/ceremonies.
One amazing place! Great little shops of local artists, amazing food, and great outdoor places to walk and breathe the fresh air. The gardens are amazing!
Great place for lunch and to buy art, paintings, clothing, etc. All sales benefit the Lucille Packard Childrens Hospital.
Its too bad that this place isnt what it used to be where there were artist showing their crafts that were beautiful and not overpriced now most of the artists have gone and all thats left is cheap things to sell. The restaurant was uneventful as it wasnt a pass it was great. But it seemed the waitress had other things to do rather than wait on the people in the dining room.
Its nice
I deliver for Urban Botanica located in the Allied Arts Guild. They create the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen! The staff is fabulous!
I love bringing out of town guests here, to admire this oasis with its gorgeous architecture, tranquil gardens, and amazing galleries.
A nice place to visit, even if just for window shopping.
The Allied Arts Center is absolutely remarkable example of the value of skilled trades. In particular, the florists at Urban Botanica are absolutely amazing and gifted in the beautiful aesthetic they provide with the highest end plant products available in the Bay Area.
This is such an amazing place for a wedding. Everything makes you feel in the dream. I will definitely plan my wedding here!!!
Wow great lunch, beautiful gardens. Quiet and friendly.
Wonderful restaurant and shops
Quiet venue for a private function, located on a shaded side street.
The woman was extremely nice a created 3 options of plants for me in my price range!
Beutiful place to visit clean and quiet but theres not much to see.
Went to a book release party here one evening, absolutely gorgeous grounds and buildings
Beautiful park to take a stroll and interesting artsy stores.

Gorgeous place, awesome staff, nothing negative cam be said.
Near Stanford? This is a must see. Nice gardens and small stores with local works of artist.
Beautiful garden and some interesting little artisan shops and workshops. Also hosts Music Together Menlo Park, which I highly reccoment.
A beautiful oasis where you can enjoy art, flowers and food.
A small but lively relaxing place
Had a cane chair repaired
Great place to walk / read in a quite and beautiful garden... that you didnt have to do the hard work to maintain ;-)
