Great insight, guidance, and service. Definitely your go-to place for skateboards, accessories, and skateboarding too. The coffee shop smells amazing but we havent sampled those items yet.
Got a new board today and they set it up for no extra charge. Also got some coffee while I was there and it was delicious! I will continue to go there with all of my skateboarding needs. Support your local skate shop!
Filled me up in no time. Service is consistently great. The bill was appropriate. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I liked to visit.
Offers a great choice of obstacles for both beginners and more advanced skaters. Awesome atmosphere, loved it!
Googled skate parks in Memphis and this one popped up. Glad that we decided to stop on in. The kids needed a break from riding in the car for 5 hours and this place was well worth it! $10 a person, and for a few hours or all day isnt bad at all for some fun. Great place, and friendly staff. Awesome coffee bar as well!
Surprise gem! Love the vibes! Great cappucino and dirty chai.
Definitely one of the best places in the area. This place has an awesome atmosphere.
I love this place. It’s one of the most eclectic spots in Memphis: a top-quality coffee shop, an indoor skate park, and a skate shop which carries boards, sneakers, etc. This place is clean, well-managed, and very cool. It’s got a lot of heart. I come in the mornings and it’s always quiet. It’s a great place to enjoy conversation or just get some work done. And even though I have no attachment whatsoever to skateboarding, it’s a lot of fun to break away in the afternoons to watch the skaters enjoy the park, many of whom are very impressive all the way down to small children learning to skate for the first time. The barista is excellent, the baked goods are delicious, and...I just can’t say enough about this place. It’s also located in a neighborhood of Memphis that is experiencing revitalization (shops, restaurants, etc.), but a neighborhood that also has that distinctive Memphis grit. This is definitely one of our city’s gems!
Signed my 6 year old up for a lesson for some variety in our social distancing activitiesaactivities I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff is 13/10, they handled my 6 year old and all her questions with the patience of a saint. We will definitely be back!
One of the best Memphis coffee shops to work and hang out. The staff is so friendly and kind. The set up is beautiful, and there are skaters coming in and out hanging out all day. I love that the barista seems to always be baking up a brownies or muffins when Im there. This place has a great Memphis atmosphere. I love co-working with friends as well as hashing out work alone. Thankful for this addition to the Broad!
Its really great, except for the college kids who come here and sit in the coffee area and think they dont have to wear masks. I wish the staff would tell them to GTFO.
Great place...great staff...best coffee in Memphis!!
So glad we stopped! My son would have stayed here for our entire trip to Memphis. The place has a super cool vibe in the coffee shop, and the kids have a safe and fun place to burn off energy and work on their board tricks. Definitely recommend this place!
Amazing coffee shop and skatepark! I am vegan and ordered an oat milk cortado. Not all coffee shops can make a great dairy-free or vegan drinks but they nailed it. I am from southwest Missouri and first stopped by Society on my way through Memphis. The skatepark was so much fun and the atmosphere chill and welcoming. I now look forward to the next time I get to pass through Memphis!
Best place to skate; especially when it rains! Keep it up guys!!!!
This place is awesome!!! Really nice chill spot. My son had a great time, truly enjoyed it very happy and thankful. Highly recommend!!!
While traveling through, good spot to take a break and let the kids stretch out. Plus a coffee bar for the parents.
This place looks really cool. I cant wait to go went by there to check it out. They have a pretty neat little program bear with step bar on the property along with the coffee shop cant wait to take my grandkids there next weekend
My son and I recently visited this park which is only minutes from our house. The park just opened up in December 2018. The park is located in the heart of the City of Memphis in an area known as the Broad Arts district. Its a skate park, skate shop and coffee shop all housed under one roof. The street section area has fun boxes, ledges, pyramid banks with two rails and several quarter pipe ramps book-ending the street area. The ramps create a lot of speed for skaters to set up for their tricks on the street features. My teenage son loves the set-up.There is also a 16 foot wide, 3 foot tall mini-pipe that is perfect for kids to learn on. This section is safely cordoned off from the rest of the skate area so kids learning on the ramp wont get hit by flying stray boards.I am an old school skater so the 10 foot tall, 30 foot wide half-pipe left me in awe. There are only a handful of half-pipes like this one in the country! The pipe surface is smooth but not slippery since it has a birch wood surface.Inside the skate area is a quiet upstairs room with tables for parents and people to watch the skaters/their kids and/or surf the web while enjoying their coffee. The skate shop layout allows skaters to hang out and watch videos. Lots of boards, shoes and skate equipment and apparel to chose from. Zac, the skate shop owner can definitely set you up-especially if your kids are new to skating.I had a cup of their Ethiopian brew. Hands down that was the smoothest tastiest cup of coffee I have had in the area!.... with a perfect subtle fruity finish. Wow!The place is clean and has a friendly welcoming vibe. I see many more sessions happening here in the future. Check it out!
The service was friendly and sociable.
From it’s wonderful layout to its delicious homemade pumpkin spice mixture, Society Memphis Skatepark and Coffee has done an awesome job in catering itself to both skateboarding and non-skateboarding fans alike!I definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking to host a club or an event here. The people here are so nice and welcoming! :)
Great concerts, people, coffee, and skating always love to stop by
This place is cool for skateboarding. The atmosphere is clean with cool designs. However, the event we had here wasnt a good fit. Everything seemed fine with prior planning, until we arrived on the day of. The staff wasnt welcoming and were ready for us to leave the moment we walked in. We even received a message from the ownerabout having leave at 10 when we passed out flyers and promoted the event with an ending time at 12am. Thats because other staff members were contacting the owner behind our backs, instead of addressing any issues directly to us. I dont know what the issue was or what we did wrong, we were pretty much out of the way until the DJ arrived, but I felt like things shouldve been said days before and we couldve taken our business elsewhere. If the event was an issue from the beginning, we shouldve been aware of it days prior. We didnt show up making anyone feel uncomfortable, we just wanted to have a small party with local artists performing but the staff had a personal issue with us without reason. We definitely will not return to this place, but if youre a skater, this environment is for you.
Really nice people that answers your questions. No adult skating classes for new people, but its coming soon. Its was neat watching the skaters skate
Best coffee!
The vibe is lacking but the skatepark is pretty cool. The coffee isnt as strong as some places but it was perfect for me!
Great place with super chill people
Great place with great atmosphere, love the culture and kind employees. amazing coffee. this is what memphis needs more of!
Awesome spot for the kids to get a skate session in while the wife and I grabbed coffee and got some work done. Their muffins and homemade rice crispy rectangles are massive and delicious!
Super cute place I cant wait to do a skateboard class with my son.
Exactly what the city of Mempis needs and the location is perfect. By all means necessary, Society needs to be supported by not just the skate community but by everyone else. The owners have put a ton of time and energy to start this special place, not to mention another cool businessadded to the many other cool places that helps continue to make Memphis... Memphis...
Kids had fun
Support local businesses !! This place is fun and great with caring employees . Viewing room upstairs to watch the skaters. Kids skate there sometimes too. Good brownies in the coffee shop .
Great safe fun
We wanted to check out the vibe and its a nice place to visit. We met Mark-nice guy. Great place!
We took our 12 year old son after BMX racing at Shelby Farms. Everyone there was extremely friendly and inviting to him. This is a top notch skate park. Location can appear to be sketchy but we were by no means in danger. Don’t let that hold you back. So glad these owners invested in something for young people to attend.
I love everything about that place. Everytime I go up there its always a blast! Apart from the skating they have the BEST COOKIES Ive ever tasted.
Great atmosphere, and they got a cool espresso with OJ drink.
It was a good park but to much for a membership but 12 bucks isnt bad for a day
Great coffee. Amazing environment. Helping Memphis grow by giving back. Support local!
Great atmosphere, nice park flow, and decent shopping section with a good selection. Zac (one of the employees) is very kind and knowledgeable.
Great coffee, nice people. Good place to skate or just to watch skaters on the observation deck!

AMAZING People and service. Espresso was great
It was fun and the staff and other clients are very knowledgeable and welcoming.
Really nice inside
Love this place. Good mix of street skating, mini ramp and vert ramp
Cool place. Nice workers.
Great cup of coffee
Great service and really good coffee
Lauren Bart crushed it with a fresh mug of Burundi and direction to the dad zone so we could watch some skate tricks. 10/10 will be back!
My only complaint is that this place would have come sooner... as an ex skateboarder, and coffee lover, this place is heaven!
Ive never actually been here but they said I could bring my longboard and I will hold them to it
Very opening and welcoming place to be yourself.
13 for one day hell no and they dont allow ripsticks
Super sick place. If youre in Memphis and you skate its a must!
