Enjoyed my 1st lesson with Mark... He covered a lot in an hour... Using visual technology - he helped me with shallowing the club in the downswing and hitting better pitch and chip shots around the greens. Went to hit a bucket of balls immediately after the lesson and had my most effective controlled practice session. Looking forward to the next lesson and to transferring improvements to the course!

Its been 10 years since I took lessons from Mark. His help still doing work after taking a few years hiatus from playing any golf. Heading back to him to get fitted soon. Super excited to see Mark and help me get in the right club for me at this time.

As a coach of another sport I know one of the most difficult things as a coach to do is to communicate the details and fundamentals of skills in a way that people who aren’t accustomed to doing them understand. Mark does this incredibly well and then gives you the drills and tools to build the muscle memory for a repeatable swing. My game has improved vastly in 3 lessons. Couldn’t recommend more!

I really appreciate that Mark took the time to figure out how I learn and what worked best for me during the lesson. The feedback you get from all the technology made the lesson really productive. There was no guessing about what I was doing. We had all the data from the TrackMan, video, and the foot pressure pad for every shot. He gave me some great simple drills to work on between now and my next lesson. I highly recommend Mark and I cant wait to get back for another lesson.

Mark is a great guy and an even better coach. He has every piece of modern technology available and constantly improving his place. He knows so much about the swing and can help pros all the way down to beginners. Most underrated coach in the area by far at cheaper rates than every other coach in the business.

Mark has only been working with my 16 year for a couple of weeks. My son was already a decent high school golfer. Mark immediately noticed that the equipment he was using was not quite right for him. We made that correction and a couple of tweaks to his swing and are already seeing good improvement. The best part is my sons renewed enthusiasm and confidence. Mark has also been very generous with his time and understanding with the new equipment. We had what we thought was very good stuff. He assured us that it was very good, just wasnt what my son needed with his particular swing speed. So far, this change has been for the better. We look forward to continuing to work with Mark!

I am 63 years old and have over the years taken lessons from different pros in the Memphis area. Mark is by far the best teacher I have worked with, he has a great understanding of the physics of the golf swing. He is also excellent at club fitting, i recently purchased a complete set of clubs and Mark fitted every club to my swing. Could not be happier. If you want to improve your game or buy new clubs go see Mark.

I went to the Thursday open clinic last night that Mark runs. Unbelievable! In 10 minutes we were analyzing my swing on the computer and identifying improvement areas. Immediately after, we were doing drills to fix them. Cant belive how much we got done in an hour! Excited to go back.

Mark is a great teacher. He took me from shooting a 190 over 2 days at the Memphis Public Links to shooting a 162 in less than one year. I have also broken 80 multiple times. I realized I never knew what the golf swing was supposed to feel like until my lessons with Mark.

I scheduled a fitting for a set of Mizuno MP-18 SC irons and the fitting was done in a very comfortable setting where Mark tested a number of shafts and also the MMC and JPX 900 club heads to ensure that I got the best club to go with my game. It turns out that the MP-18 MMC irons I hit during the fitting felt quite a bit better than what I had come to be fitted for. As Mark narrowed down my shaft and club head selection, he switched back and forth between shafts to ensure I got the right one. I have never had a formal club fitting and Ive got to say that the one I got with Mark was thorough and very enjoyable - I even got a few tips to help my swing. I couldnt be more pleased with his expertise and the overall experience. It has been a month since I received my fitted set of Mizuno irons and I couldnt be happier. I regained some of the distance I lost with my previous set of irons, my accuracy has improved and my scoring has steadily gone down as I have adjusted to the new irons - now if I could just get that putter to cooperate. Thanks again for a great experience.

Im a 38 year old guy who has only played golf for a little over 3 years. I spent that time reading the quintessential books that every beginner reads like Five Lessons, and as my desire to get better grew so did my consumption of information. When golf eventually became a full on obsession, I started diving into different swing techniques by different online instructors. Id find something that seemed to fix what I thought was the current problem I was having and for a couple of weeks it seemed like it would work. Of course I was only remembering the good shots instead of the bad ones because in reality nothing really changed. I was still hitting the ball below my potential even though I would hit a few per round that both felt good and produced the desired result. I mean, after all isnt that what we are all in this for and what keeps us coming back? The crux of all this is that I am a frugal man with a wife and two children. And no matter how much I love golf, I have always found it extremely difficult to justify spending large amounts of money on what is essentially a hobby being that I am never going to be good enough to rely on golf as a source of income. My thought process from the beginning was this: I am fairly athletic and relatively intelligent. I should be able to utilize free video instruction to the point where I am a decent enough golfer to have fun and be good sometimes on those really good days where everything works. And after three years I now see how naive I was. After all of the free online lessons, working on drills, and doing things that I thought were right, I had a moment when I realized that after a couple of years of really working, I was still posting scores of well over 100 to high 80s. The high 80 scores would lead me to believe I was close, but in reality I never really was close at all to what I wanted to be... enter Mark Grace.I went to Mark, walking in a bit of a skeptic but still open to the possibility that he could help me get better. There was always a part of me that thought, What can an actual in person instructor that I have to pay for do that someone giving me videos cant? Well Mark answered that question FAST. Like a doctor would do (my wife is a doctor), he set me up and video taped my swing as well as used TrackMan (which I expected). Then we used a foot mat that records pressure to visualize my footwork (which I did not expect). Then after I told him about some scoliosis I have, we moved on to a mobility test to diagnose if there was some physical limitations I had that might prevent me from from getting to where I want to be.After all that with a little bit of time left, he gave me a basic framework of what to work on for the first week. The best part was that he actually put his hands on me and made me feel what was supposed to be happening through the swing. That type of feedback you cant get on YouTube. My grip was changed, and it feels more comfortable. By putting his hands on me and actually showing me the action of how my hands are supposed to work with the grip... its just... man... it made so much sense. I started with just half swings (half backswing and half a follow through) and in that time I was striking the ball closer to the center of the clubface and with more effortless power than I can remember. I never felt like I was fighting to get the clubface in the right spot. However, even after all that, I remained skeptical. My thought was, How much of this am I going to remember and integrate? When I leave here, and go to my home course and practice, how much is going to stick?. Well I can tell you right now that a LOT DID stick. I went straight to the range at my home course (which is a good 40 min drive in the car) and loaded up. I pulled out the same 7 iron and tried swinging like I remembered him telling me to emphasizing the key points. I found it to be really easy. The swing still felt effortless and good.Overall this is the best decision Ive made since starting to play golf. Thank you Mark.
