I complement the Management of Windyke Country Club for providing an excellent Country Club Experience.I have been a member since 1982 ( except for a Ten Year membership at Southwind) The condition of the course is very good and they do an excellent job of managing the very heavy play !I play very early on Weekends and practice most weekdays ! Having such an excellent driving range andTop Notch short game range is a big plus. The pace of play is usually 3 hours 15 minutes for our foursome.We usually eat Lunch at the Club and the Food Service is very good. Finally we have a group of members who support the Food Service Operations, which are all excellent.I also use the Windyke Lawn Service, who has given me the Star Yard of the neighborhood. In summation I am most satisfied with my experience at Windyke especially the great attitude and performance of all of the enployees,

Recently a new member but Classic Memphis Country Club. Two solid courses. Par 3 course. Good practice facility. All around good experience so far here.

Joined for golf.2 generally well maintained 18 hole regulation courses and an 18 hole par 3 course.One regulation course allows walking, and walking course switches every week.18 hole par 3 is often in poor shape, particularly the tee boxes and greens.Pro shop carries most, but not all, major club brands.Golf staff is efficient, if not particularly attentive.Food and Beverage staff is very efficient and attentive, and food is very good.

This club has a great staff all-around. They go out of their way to remember your name and face (with masks on). The environment is welcoming. For golf, there are plenty of choices from two 18-hole courses, an 18-hole par 3, and many options for practice.

The course is always in great shape and I always find wildlife while playing

I.have been a member of Windyke C.C since Earl Dykman built it when I was a teenager.In addition, my son of 38 years has also played many a rounds there growing up.All the staff know their job and make you have that “home feeling. If you need a little help in game, all the pros are at your service.Great merchandise and excellent food is available.

I had Thanksgiving dinner with my family. The food was great.

Fantastic courses. The East and West courses are uniquely different in appearance and layout, but they are both extremely well maintained. They are challenging, yet fair, with immaculate greens that roll fast and true. With the two championship courses, a separate 18 hole par 3 course, tennis, pool and all the other amenities, it is impossible to find a better deal when it comes to membership.

Windyke Country Club is a great place to play golf. With 2 regular 18 hole courses and a par 3 course, there is something for everyone. Also the food is excellent! The administration and staff are all outstanding to work with. That proved particularly true during this pandemic. My only issue is that it would be nice to have more grass in the fairways. If it were available, I would have made this review 4.75 stars.

I like everything about WCC! I have been playing golf there, off and on, since it opened in the early 1960’s. It had been a cornerstone of Memphis golf for over 50 years and has consistently set a very high standard of excellence. The course is always terrifically maintained and almost every year improvements are made to the course as well as the clubhouse and other common areas. When the FedEx St. Jude qualifier was held here, the PGA pros would often comment on how wonderful our greens are, many said as good as any on tour. And what a treat to have 36 championship holes as well as a very nice par-3 course. It’s a bonus to be allowed to walk for those members who enjoy that. Other local clubs frequently levy an assessment but that had never happened at WCC, another bonus for its members. And last, but certainly not least, is the terrific staff that serves us. Everyone who works here, from the kitchen staff, to the office workers, to the maintenance crew and to the golf staff, just could not be more professional nor more accommodating. They all clearly are well trained, enjoy their work and are a joy for the members to be serviced by them.

The Golf Tournament was Amazing. They have a two beautiful golf courses. The staff was very professional; knowledgeable and friendly. It was my first time there. I truly enjoyed myself and I would recommend the Windyke Country Club to everyone

Incredible country club experience. 36 championship holes (plus an 18 hole par three course) Tennis, swimming, Excellent dining and facilities. Knowledgeable staff. But for the golf purist, the thing that brings you to Windyke is the condition for the golf courses. The greens are outstanding!The best kept secret in Memphis is the apparel selection in the golf shop. Not just golf and tennis, but, a full line of clothing and accessories. Highly recommend.

Hallmark of a great club is the golf course conditions. Windyke has the best greens in the Memphis area, and the courses are well maintained and constantly being improved. 36 holes, 18 executive holes, swimming, tennis, and even pickle ball! Combined with a strong focus on family participation, this is a great place.

Simply the best value for a golfer in West Tennessee

This is an absolutely beautiful course, clubhouse, facility. You do need to be a member. We play our school finals here and enjoy it the small par 3 course.

I volunteer here for a tournament every year and its a beautiful course.Facilities are clean and staff does a great job and makes everyone feel so welcome.

Went for OLPH Womens Guild luncheon today; the food was exceptional. I had salmon, but chicken and vegan dishes were also served at my table. Everyone was pleased with their selections.

Windyke is a great value for families who have active children as well as for those who are retired and only play golf. Multiple use and payment options are available and the quality of each of the facilities makes the cost one of the best values around. The staff is friendly but not over-bearing. I have been a member for 40 years and would never consider changing to another club as long as there are no significant changes in value for me.

Windyke Country Club has now spoiled me in that I will compare every future round of golf to the past two rounds I played on Friday and Sunday to the immaculate condition of the West and East course. From the clubhouse to the greens, I could not have had a better experience. Their greens are the smoothest putting I’ve ever played on - very receptive and roll like a billiards table. There are so many different shots and shapes to make that no hole is the same and I used every club in the bag. I am not a scratch golfer, I’m an 18 handicap, and can say that the course is challenging but extremely forgiving in that shot selection (not taking driver on every box) made for a much more pleasing round. It is easy to see why this course is so highly rated and recommended, their management from the course to the pro shop isnof the highest caliber. Thank you, Windyke, for an amazing golf experience. I’m from Nashville but if I’m ever within an hour driving distance, I’ll be sure to bring my clubs!

Very impressed with the courses, the amenities, & the prices in the pro shop. Three courses to accommodate all golfers (including a Par 3 course). The East course is a real challenge.(FTR Im not a member.)
