The service was great. The establishment was very clean including the womens restroom. The food was very good for the most part. The mac and cheese was very bland but not everyone can have seasonings. The seasoned veggies were awesome, the chicken fried chicken and the ribs was superb. The shrimp street tacos were seasoned awesome and had this kinda spicy sauce on them that was really good. The live band playing that evening was really good as well.

It was really fun, we got there around 3:30pm and there was live music it was great! Food was good they give you a lot! It moderate prices drink! Good service had a good vibe! Enjoyed myself!

Omg!!! This place is amazing!!! The food is to die for, the food was seasoned extremely well and thats always a plus. The drinks were on point and the band was really good and very friendly to us. We even got a chance to met B.B Kings granddaughter who was in the building dancing around and meeting everyone. She was really friendly! We really enjoyed ourselves.

New York native whom stopped off in the South and listen....it was professional, delicious, not too costly and overall a homey environment. I hate that I didnt come here pre COVID but better late then never, right? I had the sausage po boy and the rest of my party got different meals. The bread was buttery, the sausage was perfect - not too snappy but not overly soft either. The drinks are nice and strong. My server was hilarious and hospitable. You dont get all of those qualities in one in NYC and if you do its a rare gem. I look forward to coming back here! Oh and let me not forget the bread pudding. Maaaaaaaan! It was decadent. I am not mad at the lbs I gained. I would do it all over again but even bigger if I could.

My youngest daughters birthday dinner. Good food, great atmosphere, live band. I wish that I remembered the Bands name. Keyboard leader, drummer rocked, bass and blues guitarist were great.

We had two different people recommend us to come here and we were not disappointed. The food was phenomenal and the live music was awesome. I have a broken ankle and they accommodated the best the could. All the staff was super friendly. Our food came out within minutes and the waitress kept up on our drink refills. Overall great experience can’t wait to go back!

Best ribs Ive ever had in my life! Ribs are flavorful, fall off the bone tender with the perfect amount of sauce and char. I could have ate my weight in them. Catfish is another hit, I had the bites and the comeback sauce they came with is to die for. I wanted to buy a bottle to take home but they dont sell it. The catfish is lightly breaded and so tender. We saw the band setting up, I wish we had come in a little bit later to be able to enjoy the music. I cant wait to go back. Oh, I almost forgot skip the gumbo. It taste more like soup not traditional gumbo. Not nasty by any means but not made with a roux, its just not the depth and flavor that comes from a good roux. Another con on the gumbo it has tomatoes in it. If thats your jam though, enjoy. Im looking forward to trying their other offerings.

I was disappointed with my experience here. loved the atmosphere and our server was excellent but it took 45 minutes for my ribs to come out and they were cold when we received them! We asked for a new plate and the new plate of ribs was cold AGAIN! Very disappointing

I Live in Mobile AL, but Im from AR. Every year my Sister Lana and me come to Elvis week in August. We always go to B B Kings to eat some fine ribs with all the trimmings. For dessert is seeing the MOST AMAZING GROUP MEMPHIS JONES. Ive seen groups all over, but Memphis has so much talent. I like how he tells you about the song and artist then singing it. MEMPHIS JONES is a wonderful and blessed asset to B B Kings. I sure will miss coming to Memphis this year, but when its safe I will be there.

Food was fresh. Food was delicious and the service couldnt have been any better. To the man that waited us, I apologize. If I had cash I would have tipped you. Im literally headed to the atm now to get money to tip you. I hope you are still there. To the owners, you run a fine establishment. I love this place everytime I visit. I love my live band. Wonderful place to eat! My moms sisters and brother came to Memphis from South Bend Indiana on a personal visit. The siblings chose BB King because they remembered how hood the food was from last time. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs during lunch time. We had a wonderful times.

Last night was our second visit to what we consider one of our favorite places to eat in Memphis! The ribs are to die for while my husband loves the bbq nachos. No one’s bbq sauce is better! We also enjoyed being entertained right from our seats. Our 6-year-old loved dancing while she ate!

Drove 3.5 hours one-way to eat here (and to see Beale St.). Great food, really nice staff and a fantastic house band. Huge portions. Highly recommend! Reservations recommended, it really started filling up about 6pm on a Friday night.

The host was Alexa, our waiter was Christian, AWESOME place to eat. The manager made accommodations for us although we had no reservations for the restaurant, short ribs with garlic mash potatoes and maple bacon brussel sprouts was delicious. We will be coming back . Thanks to all that made our night wonderful.

The music was great. The catfish is amazing. It is breaded,seasoned and fried perfectly. No dipping sauce needed. The waitstaff was attentive. The bathrooms are clean and offer attendants services.

I just ate some of the best food Ive ever eaten. Had the cheese grits (amazing) and ribs (phenomenal). I will be dreaming about both for a very long time!

Its always a pleasure to visit this place! Sorry that this was during the pandemic, but everyone was very conscious about wearing their masks when not drinking or eating. However, there were still too many people inside, especially on the upper level. Food was good!

I really didnt want to fight the crowd because of Covid 19 but they did a great job keeping guest 6 feet apart. We ordered the shrimp & grits a couple of drinks and sat back and enjoyed some wonderful down home blues. They get at star rating from me you wont be disappointed

Was in Memphis for our birthday weekend and was told to stop into BB Kings. I can say they have some AMAZING food, great music and atmosphere. The only mishap was during dinner we ordered (2) shots and was charged $10. Then stopped at the bar on our way out for another (2) shots and was charged $12.50. Not sure what the difference in price was, just seemed a bit sketchy. Would have given a 5 star if it wasn’t for that. All in all, I would recommend stopping in, especially for their ribs. Hush puppies were great too.

The place was awesome. It was my first time at beale Street. I ordered, The Pig. It was delicious and so filling. They had blues music playing as well and it was something Ive never encountered in real life till today and it was very nice. I would recommend coming and try out the food and possibly listen to some good blues music while your there.

We had such an amazing time!!! Its literally like stepping in to another world, full of energy and love for Blues! Service was fantastic, the food all tasted good and was well prepared, the sausage and cheese plate is a must! Theres a $5 cover per person on live music nights and totally worth it! I will definitely go back when Im back in town and have more time to enjoy the music and atmosphere!

Was originally supposed to go to another place for lunch... SO GLAD WE DIDNT! This place was amazing! Jeff, our waiter was beyond amazing! The ribs were perfect and the slaw was the best Ive ever had. Being from the bbq capital of texas, I was extremely pleased with the food, atmosphere, live music, and friendliness!

Be careful of the waitress/bartender there. I got an appetizer for lunch one day. Tipped $2 and she decided to add an extra $4 on the check.

Really cool stage and constant live music. Upstairs they have an actual guitar signed by BB King and his whole band. Still wish they would give comedy a shot though... Its not like BB King didnt have a sense of humor

This restaurant introduces you to Beale Street. As we were greeting by host dressed flawlessly outside, he directed us to the front counter for direction. The restaurant is set up so that enjoying your meal while social distancing can take place. My Yazoo Catfish was very tasty, my son loved the ribs and Mac & Cheese.

Food and Atmosphere were great.I ordered Bar B Q chicken and ribs. This was very tasteful.What I did not like is that I had to pay a $5 cover per person for live band, but when I sat down, they literally went on break and then came back to play live music as I was paying my tab 45 minutes later.

Fun atmosphere and they had a band at 4pm. We got the pulled pork sandwiches and they were delicious and nice and Smokey. Lots of food.

The place got crowded really quick. I grabbed a beverage and watched part of the show. Amazing. I will return soon.

Very bad experience. We went there in August, 22, 2020 around 1-2 pm. The bartender (the white bald guy with cap) was very rude to me and my wife. He kept forcing us to eat food with a very rude way even though we spent money on food and drinks. He forced us not to see the stage and live music!!. That crazy bartender did not let us enjoy the live music (his is in attached picture, in the red circle). We will never come back and suggest you to go to other places around

Food was not great. Entertainment on a Saturday was meh. Definitely not what we expected for B.B. King. Nashvilles B.B. club was much better, which is sad because I enjoy Memphis so much more.

Awesome place. Food was wonderful. Ribs, beans, slaw were the best topped off with White Chocolate Bread Pudding for dessert. Yum!! The band, King Beez, was great. Our server, Ron, helped make our evening very memorable. Loved every minute.

Fine location for delicious bbq. This place is absolutely one of my favorites. Ill return with my friends. It has a nice feel to it. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I loved.

First time there with family to have dinner and watch the jazz band play. I had shrimp poboy and shrimp gumbo was good. I recommend it for tha ambience, food and staff service.

Dark inside and untidy. Pulled pork sandwich was good. Coleslaw was good. French fry is flavorful. Mac & cheese is rich and creamy. But the house specialty: the ribs is dry and burnt overcooked.Service is okay. Busy.

The food is fabulous. Portions are huge, so bring your appetite. I recommend the shrimp and grits, but everything we have tried has been excellent.

This place just made love to my palate! I had the Yazoo Creole Catfish but for my liking, I subbed out the rice for garlic mashed potatoes and added sautéed veggies! Someone else has the meatloaf and said “this is the best meatloaf I’ve had.” I didn’t taste it but he was very satisfied. My sister has the same dish as me...same way and we both cleaned our plates. This is a must go!

B.B KINGS has the best ribs I have ever had. Awesome service. Im from Florida and was visiting my daughter and she wanted BBQ, she suggested another BBQ place so I said we was going to B.B.K for the ribs and live blues music. She loved it. When I come back you will find me there with a full rack of ribs and jamming the Blues.

My first time in Memphis and this was my first stop...tons of character!!! Our waitress was ready to please, so friendly and efficient. And then theres the food...wow! I had blackened chicken carbonara... holy moly, even better and more flavorful than it sounds!!! Also try the shrimp and grits which were so scrumptious!!!

Had a GREAT time! Live band was excellent...kids loved it. I feel like the family really experienced the blues at this place. Things to note: This is downtown and parking costs $$$. I paid $25 to get close, but found out there was a spot for $20 that was closer. Also, there is a $5 cover charge per person so be ready to drop some money before getting entertained. Although its all worth it!!

Would not come back. We were trying to put our name to be seated and the hostess constantly reminded how we needed to get away from the door. We could not as their was a party of at least six in front of us. She kept reminding us and we had no where to stand! You couldn’t move in either direction because people were in both directions. She also stated you couldn’t wait outside as you would have to pay the cover fee again. Do not waste your time if you are wanting to social distance because this is not the place. This is not the place to come if your looking for friendly staff as the man kept yelling face mask required while we all had ours on.

We went here yesterday, to reunite with my Canadian cousin, whom I havent seen in 20+ years. It was her first time visiting Memphis and she is a foodie like myself. We enjoyed the music, staff and food! Everything was great and the food was equally tasty as it looks.

Food was incredible, Southern cooking at its best and the music was just what youd expect! The band was engaging as well and took the time to speak with many of the diners. The staff was super friendly and efficient, food was not overpriced which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely go back.

Great music and great BBQ. I had ribs and chicken... the Ribs were the best and the chicken was still great, but I kinda wish I had got all ribs! But the big surprise was the pulled pork tater tots appetizer... wasnt sure what I was getting, but so glad I got them. Mac n cheese was amazing as well.

As a part of our road trip, we stopped in Memphis at BB Kings blues club for lunch. My husband had the 8 rib lunch and said they were the best ribs he has had! I had a Cobb salad and it was very good! The atmosphere was awesome! It took me back to the wonderful music of BB King.

Theres a cover charge (as of Feb 20), it was 7 dollars. The atmosphere is crowded, mostly older folks like myself in attendance. Fun vibe. Apps came out fast. Service a little slow, but due to busyness not neglect.

If you love great food and music, this is the place. This was my second time at BB Kings and we had a wonderful time. The food and service were excellent. I ordered the ribs which fell right off the bones. Normally, I dont do dry rub because of too much seasoning but these were perfect for my taste. Our server was very attentive and made sure that we had what we needed and our drinks were replenished. The live band, Kings Beez, was awesome. We were a little tired but refused to leave before their set was over. There was a $5 cover for the entertainment but it was well worth it. If ever back in the area, I will be returning to BB Kings Blues Club.
