We went there before covid and now there are reopened also hire AMC the walking dead Rick cosplay to be a bartender, and I will come back again absolutely.

Good drinks and a beautiful atmosphere. Didnt catch his name, but the bartender that resembles Rick Grimes was very hospitable and gave us outstanding service.

Absolutely NOT handicap friendly, very disappointed with the rude door staff and the handling of attempting to accommodate someone in a wheelchair. You could immediately tell one of the staff members was heavily intoxicated which 100% contributed to the mishandling of the situation. Maybe try to move the stuff off the ramp, and dont let employees drink on the job. We will never be returning

Cool spot in downtown melbourne. The bartender RJ was cool, and great happy hour. Cant beat the price.

Have been here multiple times over the past year and loved it, love the atmosphere and the people. However tonight the Owner of the bar was there and was very rude to multiple people while also being clearly drunk. She yelled at my table of four when we were checking out saying “we don’t even have any drinks”. Not even five minutes later I watched her have a conversation with someone who brought a dog in. I heard her say “not tonight” and then watched her pick the dog up and THROW it at the man. Needless to say me or my table are never spending our money here. Plenty of other bars downtown.

Very comfy place. Drinks are expensive so use it to have a few final drinks before ending the night. Love the mules. The bouncer remembers everything a d everyone. First time I ever witnessed someone get kicked out for something they did a few weeks ago. Makes it very safe I suppose.

The atmosphere is really cool with nice decor and an outdoor patio area but the service is definitely lacking. We came in on a Friday afternoon when there were only a few other customers there. The bartender made our drinks then ignored us the entire time even when our glasses were empty. He was too busy chatting it up and taking shots with a female customer who apparently used to work there. The drinks were also way overpriced. Im disappointed because its such a cool looking place! Definitely take your business elsewhere.

Drinks are way over priced. Wont go back for that main reason. Cool decor. Nice dark alleyway on the one side. I like the place not the price.

The Foo is a trip all walks of life been there 20 times never any trouble. The music is loud the people are friendly they dont skimp on the drinks.No food and smoky.

Amazing place. Is very different to all the locals in the town.

Went to this place on a Sunday night and it was dead. The bartender was extremely rude and slow to make three mojitos. My party and I sat in the U shaped booth far away from the bar. He also suggested that my party put out their cigarettes just because he didnt like the smell of them. He claimed that they were bothering his eyes. But all the other patrons smoking in front of his face at the bar werent bothering his eyes. I wouldnt come here especially if youre out of town. It was evident that the vibe at this bar was a locals only - or that the bar tender only wanted his friends to come enjoy it.

Really nice lounge, wish they offered some sort of drink list though. My bartender was quite the octopus, he was all alone when I came in and getting slammed by a large crowd, however it didnt seem to phase him at all and he stayed on top of everyones drinks, very impressed overall.

The atmosphere here is enjoyable. Bot too loud or roudy. The tenders are friendly and uphold great service quality.

Not a good spot for asthmatics or people with allergies. People are super friendly. Drinks were awesome.

I was just visiting family and stumbled across this gem of a bar. The bartenders were engaging, the music was lit, the vibe was off the charts. I highly recommend this groovy place. Loved it!!!!

I really enjoyed this spot. Very relaxed place with an owner that really enjoys his guests. Big comfy seating. Nooks and corners. A bit of an Asian feel but I kind of felt a touch of CBGBs but less crowded. If you are looking for a cool place that is not your typical sports bar, youll like this. Only critique is that the music was a touch too loud. Im sure they would have turned down if we asked but we didnt so no points off.

Cool place. I really liked it. It was packed though. Very busy late at night on the weekend. The crowd was a little bit younger as well. The set up and atmosphere is cozy and warm with little nooks and crannies everywhere. Would definitely recommend if your in the area.

Scott is one of the best bartenders Ive ever seen. Not only does he make your foo bar experience personal. He makes you feel like you are the only person in the bar and gives you a unique experience you cant find at any other bar. The scene is awesome, the artwork is impeccable...best bar in downtown by far

Ok place. Liked being on an out side patio having cocktails.

Sunday night, I decided to get a drink there. Upon entering the bar I asked if they have a menu or selection of drinks I could choose from and the bartender said “no...” and looked at me crazy. The setting is so cute but the vibe is so awkward. Kinda disappointed

Great drinks. VERY DOG FRIENDLY! Me and my girlfriend took our dog here (a very sweet loving Red-nose Pit) and he just sat there, enjoying the music with us. Bartender offered us dog treats and the customers gave him plenty of loving. Really good Dirty Martinis, definitely recommend the blue cheese stuffed olives. Girlfriend really liked the cosmos. Theyre happy hour is a steal.

Best place in Downtown Melbourne for Margaritas. My favorite days are Tues/Thurs. Love the vibe. Only reason I didnt do 5 stars is because smoking is allowed.

We were thrown out at 145 by the most obnoxious employee yelling at us. 10 of us mind you sitting on the patio after they just served us drinks. He was belligerent and totally unprofessional. We were on vacation and have never been treated so badly especially by someone wearing a shirt that said blow me. This place was nice but we will not be back. We were celebrating 3 birthdays and we were feeling nice after having a few drinks. And the ass of an employee made the night bitter. Foobar what a disappointment. Stay away from this place and if you go leave by 130 or you will be yelled at and thrown out. The employee was lucky because three of the people we were with were going to wear his ass out for being a ass and a prick. Foobar hire better employees.

I loved it my gf adored it on weekdays ...it is our date night after dinner spot...so chill and laid back unless u have one of the attention seeker customers....it is a great place and well put together without a dull moment and lots to see. Good job owner, manager and employees.

Awesome spot! But the bartender s really lack at taking care of new customers at the bar. Their either knee deep in conversation with whatever attractive female is at the bar or only providing drinks to those that already ordered.

I have been going to Foo Bar for several years and I love it. Scott and the crew are awesome. It gets crazy busy on the weekends, so I try to just go on weekdays.

Really cool, awesome staff, good security and best of all since its an open air building, we didnt come home smelling like smoke.

Bartender gives me the check and I give him my card. He then disappears with my card and the check for 15 minutes. There was only one other couple in the bar. No surprise next day I receive alert of fraudulent activity on my card. This is becoming an epidemic downtown. Happened at Iron Oak Post too.

Bar is well maintained and drinks are always good and usual female cocktail server really does a good job and does more than look good. Dress code needs a little work. I went there with my date who was in an elegant dress and heels and I was wearing shined dress shoes, slacks, and long sleeve designer shirt (that didnt have collar). I was turned away. This trip I was sure to have a collar and while we were approaching our usual $60 tab I saw three 21-24 year old males come in wearing sneakers, backpacks, and hooded sweatshirts and looking totally thuggy of course they took up room and didnt order drinks. We soon left as we didnt want to get caught up in what ever they were doing. I asked the doorman what exactly was dress code was as I remembered being turned away and he had no good answer but you need to look presentable. I pointed towards the 3 hooded guys with backpacks and he replied we dont want exclude anyone. I think he knew or was involved in what ever this young group of guys were up to. Foo Bar management... Remember who your core and paying customers are know you have the business you have because of the middle age 4 glass of you best wine and martini people not the above group.

Cool bar, but the drinks are kinda expensive and the inside is full of cigarette smoke. Make sure to go during happy hour.

One of my favorite places to stop from a drink after work or on a hot weekend. They have a great happy hour that runs pretty late. Plenty of space at the bar and decent outdoor patio to enjoys drinks on.

Excellent spot in downtown Melbourne. Wide selection of bourbons and niche liquors. Old fashions and green fairys are what to get. Justin is the man to ask for, amazing hospitality, knowledge and conversation.

Nice place but drinks are too high

I love the decor in this bar! The atmosphere is a little dark and spooky with nice couches and cozy corners to sit in. They make delicious cocktails with freshly mulled fruit, classics, and they serve beer as well.

Its an older (over 30) crowd that is calm and relaxing. Staff is good. Drinks are right.

Hit this one during St. Patricks pub crawl. Nice atmosphere. Will need another visit.

As a Brevard native, I have been excited to go to Foo Bar for awhile. I was severely disappointed. They whistled us out for last call; I mean literally at 1:55 a bartender with a whistle came around and told us to “get out now.” I asked if I could enjoy the drink I bought at 1:45 for a few more minutes and they essentially said no. As someone in the industry, I find that offensive. I’ve waited for people to finish their waters for hours without asking them to leave, let alone blow a whistle.

Chill atmosphere, good cocktail, smoking permitted. My Bartender was great and they had smoke eater type fans on so there were spots where the smoke from the neighbors was not blowing but it changed so be ready to play musical chairs if a smoking neighbor offends.

Good staff. Its a smaller and more intimate bar.

Dont be fooled by the comfy porch and cheap beer. Foo Bar isnt in business for the customer service, and management does not honor its contracts with entertainment. For shame, Foo Bar.
