Lakewood Village

Been renovating a home for a year, getting ready to move in. Lot rent is reasonable and compared to the more expensive parks, just as nice. The park and all the homes are well maintained. The park is clean and you can see the pride in the park. Plenty of help within the park for any project needing done. Only thing I think is questionable is including property tax in lot rent so you are paying rent on a property you’re also paying taxes on, doesn’t make much sense. The park and people are nice and mostly polite and I know I will feel comfortable living there.

Love Lakewood Village. Residents are kind and Edey and Pam are so helpful and kind as well. David and I are blessed to be a part of a community who cares!

Visiting a cousin on my wifes side of the family. The park was clean and kept up very nicely.

Appears to be a nice manufacturer home park.

This place is poorly managed. And the lot rent is rediculous. It goes up yearly. We own the homes not the land. There are better retirement communities than this one

Went looking in the area for my mother in law. Nice homes, well maintained. People are friendly and say they love it there.

I live in Lakewood Village and I love it!!

Love this place wish I can find a home there to live. Went to visit my brother that lives there place is secure quiet. I am going back to visit this summer.

They want too much for there lot rent, and the people who run it are very difficult to handle. They take your money but you have to keep everything neat or else.Other than that its okay.

It is an active but quiet senior community.

So far I have enjoyed being here. neighbors are friendly and there are lots of activities of all kinds.

From the first questions being answered by Edye in the office EVERYTHING has be 5 star!Professional and extreemly pleasant in every step. They do not cut corners in making sure everything is done right.I highly recommend calling this place.

Is well keep, clean and very private

They do nothing to better the park. Nor fix the Wells . Ponds lost fish cause they let them run dry. The management on site have no idea what they are doing

First rented for a year, then decided to buy. Lovely community with friendly neighbors. Centrally located to shopping, restaurants and beaches. Happy with my decision!

Very nice place

Cranky cranky old people who just want to start drama with each other. The trailers are all falling down and in bad condition. Looks nice on the outside but man is it an uncomfortable place to live.

Seems to be a fairly decent over 55 community.

Park has been in a decline over the years, lot rent keeps going up but its still a nice park. Look at The Lakes of Melbourne

Good place to live. Lot rent is a little expensive and they expect alot out of the owners of the homes. Ecspecially when you have just moved to the park and they are worried about apperance of your home and request new home owners to do things the old home owner should have taken care of before putting it on the market. Letters sent out right before christmas requesting power washing of homes (over 170 requests) to be done with a 2 week deadline stating if you do not have this completed they will have someone come and do this service and bill you is unfair. Give us all a chance especially the people who are new to the park. We all want our place to look nice with landscaping new fresh paint and a community we can all be proud of. These things will happen, but over time not over night.
