Took my 5 grandchildren ages 4 to 12. They all had a good time. The 4 year went non stop even when the older ones were playing lazaer tag. Play area has many different ways to slide back to ground level. There is a another ground level attached for the little kidos lazaer tag last I believe about 20minutes. There is an arcade area and I purchased $20 in coins. Menu for lunch has a nice reasonable price. Separate eating area with many tables or if you prefer there are tables in the playground area. We were there about 2 1/2 hours. Did not like the idea of the fabric stuffed sofas for sanitary reasons. Everything appeared clean. Yes I would definitely take all of the kids again and they want to go again. Price was reasonable even if you dont have coupons.
Typical 90s play place Perfect place to take your kids to play all day for only $15, besides that pretty mediocre. I wouldnt mind paying $20-$30 if they upgraded the activities a little more, or even cleaned the bathroom. A simple upgrade of the play area or a fresh paint job would make a much more up to date experience!
Great place for a birthday party! They have very reasonable prices especially when compared to other places. Kids always have a blast. I love that adults can go into the play zone with the kids. Its definitely busy on the weekends so if you can, go on a weekday! They have a separate area for younger kids. There are many tables to sit and eat. I only wish they would update the dirty looking furniture in the play area.
Our little guy loves to go to Amazone. Its a lot of fun and the prices are pretty fair. A great option for when the kids want to run around and play but the weather isnt favorable. The play area does need a bit of a deep cleaning though
I was skeptical to come here because of the reviews Ive read.. But Im always looking for places to bring my boys ages 6&4. They had a blast! The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very helpful. Some reviews indicate that its dirty, and it isnt dirty at all. I give this place an A+!
It is a little pricey so it is a once in a while activity for our family. During the winter its a nice way to spend a day when you cant take being cooped up any more. It is definitely not high end but its always been clean and crowded. Plenty of other kids for mine to play with, tables to eat at and couches for parents to relax on while the kids play. It could use some updating and remodeling as its an only space and hasnt been changed in a very long time but as it stands its a good place to break up cabin fever.
They expected me to go into the playground with my 2 year old daughter, who is actually really good on her own and I kept my eye on her the whole time, while being 7 months pregnant! Yeah some 17 year old boys kept saying you have to go in there with her... Are you blind kid? Do you not see that my belly wont let me even bend over let alone climb through obstacle.
This is a great place to take kids to play. Their ibdoir jungle gym set up is huge and they even have a smaller section for toddlers so the big kids dont run them over. The games are fun for kids and adults. Plus, there is laser tag. Their food isnt the best, but for the variety of fun geared towards kids, its worth it. I highly recommend Amazone for kids birthday parties and good fun for totally wearing out the kids on hot, rainy or bad weather days.
Took my two girls(ages 4 and 7), they had the best time ever!!!! Between laser tag and the playground they enjoyed themselves very much. We will be going back many more times!!!! The service was nice and the pricing was fair for all the enjoyful things to do. Even the arcade was extremely fun!
Great visit. Some of the equipment is a little worn. The staff is great and the prices are reasonable. Our 2 year old is a blast.
Im a nanny of 2 kids and this place is fantastic. The people are friendly and the prices are really affordable compared to other indoor fun nearby. Could use a few upgrades but the kids have a great time and it keeps them occupied for hours!
The business itself was nice for kids. Smaller than I expected and the games are definitely over priced. The food was just okay, but the kids had a great time. I do believe they may be a tad...prejudice. I attended with my kids for one of their friends Birthday parties. We were given our wristbands by an employee and joined with the other party goers. The kids went to play and I sat and spoke with some of the other parents in attendance. I was approached by a young, needless to say white, female employee who asked me where I got the wristbands from... I told her the lady who was sitting at the front table. She said Well did you pay for those?. I said No... She said Well you need to go up front and pay the cashier. I told her I was there for a Birthday party, which shouldve been obvious because I was sitting at a RESERVED party table with the other parents, the gifts the cake etc. Just then the mother of the Birthday boy approached and asked if there was a problem. The young lady told her she just wanted to make sure I was there with the party...No apology...and I was beyond upset. The other parents (white) shook their head and look as though they felt uncomfortable. Not one other person was approached at all. I will never return.
We have been visiting Amazone a couple of times a year. The kids have a great time and the staff is always pleasant. The place could really use some cleaning and updating. It would be nice to see them put some TLC in to make it an even better experience!
My daughter loves this place, its a good spot to let your little one run around and burn off energy. And they do different events during the week to keep it entertaining for the kids
Kids had a great time and even the adults too. Its a great deal to play all day laser tag for $15. A good time for not that much money. Its the arcade games that can break the bank though.
The place was just right for my 6 and 5 year old. They had a blast playing in the jungle! We also got to play games for a great price and all enjoyed our time in there as a family. Customer service was wonderful the young men were very friendly and helpful to us as parents and to our kids as well. The place was clean and well kept. Will visit again and again for some family fun!! Thank you for a great birthday for my son !
I have been coming here for years with my wife and three kids. My kids love it with the play area and the games. The pizza is akazing and customer service is great.Im honest to God sad to watch Amazone close. We had left over pizza from amazone and tonight I ate it while listening to Amazing Grace on the bag pipes.RIP Amazone
Great place to take the kids to let out some energy. Laser tag was a blast.
I love that I can take my 3 year old and just play with her and get exercise when it was snowing and cold out. Just all around a good time for the family!
Always fun. Reasonable prices. I have 7 kids and coming here entertains them for hours without breaking the bank. I have fun too!!
The playground for the kids is very clean and there is no doubt they clean the place (including restrooms) every day, but it needs upgrading. The carpets are very worn and ripped in a lot of places. The mens room has worn out stalls with rust where the screws are as well as the tile broken in places or pulled up.I definitely feel safe with my kids there and they had a blast. It gets crowded fast but for the price its very worth going.
It used to be better when it 1st opened. a good place to take the kids if they need some time to be wild. (better here than your house). Its not very clean but what do u expect when kids are tearing it up everyday.
Went for my nephews birthday. The kids loved it. The parents get to play with their kids on the equipment! Their prices are pretty reasonable too!
Fun safe place for the kids with good food not like Chuck-E-Cheese where they serve beer and they have fights
Smells bad. Run by teenage kids. Most games are broken or very hard for kids to play. The jungle gym is pretty good for kids under 8/10
Pros: kids will love it. Cons: Not clean, play equipment is old & dingy with rips fixed with duct tape, feels dirty. As a parent, I dont like going, but the only other place around thats open daily is Jump yard in Strongsville (much nicer, cleaner)...so this will have to do when I need to get the kids out of the house.
Pleasantly surprised by this place. Affordable fun for the kids and laser tag for all. We will definitely be back when we are in town.
Fun for young kids. Not always the cleanest, thus the four stars. Great indoor play areas and Lazer tag.
We have been visiting this place for almost 12 years. I used to plan parties here until I found a cleaner, more updated facility (costs way less too) like FunnStuff in Macedonia. Amazone unfortunately has not invested anything to remodel nor update any of the equipment or activities to make it worth your while. At first appearance, Amazone looks filthy and the smell when you walk in is almost repulsive. I am very shocked that with all the costs and fee increases Amazone has done, they would not take those funds and put them back into their business. I understand the arcade is a separate business so why the playground and general layout of the building not been cleaned and updated per a parents standard is beyond me.
So much fun! great prices! great staff!
Its a great place for kids of all ages! They have plenty for them to do and nice party rooms!
Staff was super kind and helpful and this place was awesome for a one year old and a three year old! My fiance and I had a great time climbing around the playground with the kids and hearing them squeal with excitement going through the obstacles and down the slides. We played for an hour, hit the arcade afterwards and left with two happy kids caring a handful of prizes. We even got some very adorable photos in the picture both for just 2 tokens. We stayed about 2 hours and it was plenty of time. This is a very affordable and kid friendly place! The perfect family event for a chilly Thursday night!
Sometimes i walk in here just to use the bathroom then leave. No one seems to care. Great public place for number 2! If I had kids im sure theyd like it.
We did not stay. After my 2 and 4 year old grandkids saw the playground, they were very excited. But the manager behind the counter told me that the 2 year old (3 next month) could not play with her brother because she could only play in the small baby section. They said she could play if i (60 year old grandma) went in with her and stayed right by her side, which would have been impossible since i also had a 4 month old baby with us. I also spoke with the owner. I They told me it was state law. Not sure what was going on there. We left.
3 yo had a blast in the playground and we played a few games as a family. A couple of hours of rowdy fun for not-too-much money.
Great for little kids especially if you get there early. Staff really friendly
Fun place, decent price. My 22 month old twins love it
Great play area. Could use a few more older kid areas. Lazer tag was great!!!
My grandson had a great time, on their very last day of business. Nothing was half priced. I felt it cost alot less at chuckie cheese. Honestly, felt it was very over priced and can see why it was closing.
The kids love this place. Tons of friends for them to make. Have not gotten to play Lazer tag yet.
This place is disgusting! Super dirty tables before we were about to eat. Cups left all over the place, pizza knife left on the table for over an hour for any child to grab, some weird laser association license that expired in 2013 on the wall, a dusty snake in the ceiling, the jungle gym is being held up by bungie cords and threads, stains all over the ground, and last but not least very gross drug house couches that have cigarette Burns and stains in them. Absolutely disgusting place to bring kids. I will never come back to this place unless I hate my child and want them to experience hell in real life.
Fun for kids. You can usually find a useful Groupon for here. The play area is big.
Great for kids. Jungle Jim is nice for my daughter.
10 dollar unlimited lasertag. The jungle gym was amazing
Went today and this place is a absolutely disgusting! My niece is 3years old and was running through and stepped in some other childs poop. We brought it to the attention of what seemed like the manager and she gave us a dirty look when we asked if there was some sort of protocol maybe get all the children out and make sure the whole place was clean instead of just taking a rag and wiping the one spot up! On account the kids are running crawling and rolling around the whole place. Still didnt do that so to say the least we will NEVER be going back save your money and go somewhere else than this half ass rudely staffed discovery zone.
TLC needed! Went yesterday as a special thing to do for my daughters birthday and at first glance it looked awesome but as I climbed around with her as she is only 2 I found some disturbing things. Dust bunnies galore so 50 dollar vacuum would do wonders. Worn and I mean worn pieces of equipment. To me a place like this should do cleaning weekly with deep cleaning monthly and repairs 2 twice a year. Awesome concept though! Just needs some TLC there!
Absolutely love the place would give it 10 stars jist for the fact that the parents can climb in the tunnels with thier children
Great place to take the grandkids to get rid of some energy, but it can be pretty expensive. Food and drinks are expensive and the options are pretty bleak. Playing the games will break the bank and the prizes you get when redeeming the tickets are measly. Our last visit with two kids cost us about $80.
Its a nice and fun little place to go. There is a ton of stuff for young kids to do there!
Fun place to take all the kids, way better than chucky cheese
It is fashioned as a big fancy kids place. What I found when I got there was a small pizza place with a play structure that wouldnt rival a McDonalds playplace. Sorry just disappointed me a little.
Such a great place great place for the kids to run around and play.
This place is awesome, my kids and I love it! Recommended for all ages
It was so much fun and parents can join the little ones as well!
Fun for the kids, although I got sidetracked with my older son playing arcade games, and set younger sons sippy cup down. Went back to look for it not even 10 min later and it was no where to be found. I know it was my fault, but you really have to be that low to steal a 1 yr olds sippy cup?! Just watch your stuff!
We came with a large group to have our kids play in the playground and with laser tag. With 10 people in a group, a full facility and lots to do, it is hard to gather everyone together. In order to sign up for a laser tag game, you need every single person present and standing in a 5-10 minute line....instead of allowing 1 or 2 people to wait and sign the group up. With 5 children under the age of 8, standing in a 5-10 minute line 4 or 5 times to simply put our names in is uncalled for and frankly not doable. I will be leaving this review on as many review sites as possible because really, it was a waste of our time and money. Not to mention, there was at least an hours wait in between laser tag games because they were full....this coupled with their policy, made for a very Unenjoyable time for all involved.
My kids have a blast everytime we visit! Highly recommended!
This place is disgustingly filthy. There was poop in the play area and it had obviously been tracked throughout but instead of shutting the play area and checking it all out, they only cleaned the one spot! So gross! The bathrooms and common areas were very dirty. We got our money back and will not be returning!
Many of the games are broken or dont give tickets. Play area out of control. Needs some attention.
My twin two year olds really enjoyed this. Much better then say the play place at any McDonalds. The staff was nice. We did not eat any of the food and the only thing that smelled like a bathroom was the bathroom. Plan on going back.
I go to all of the local family fun centers, I think that this one is not the best for children under 8 or so. The laser tag is the only real reason to go.
Family had a great experience. Cant wait to go back.
This place is almost always a total bummer. They do a very poor job of cleaning. My children are almost always completely covered in dust when they are done. The bathrooms are a nightmare. Super sticky from being lacquered with urine. Horrible smell. The furniture is stained, and looks as though it has never been cleaned or replaced. Additionally, Rockin Robin is not so Rockin. We had a modest budget for our sons birthday, and called ahead to ask about the rules. Her staff had told us that we could either rent one of the long party tables or pay for normal admission and sit in the normal seating. Due to our budget and the proximity to the holidays, we opted for normal seating. After arrival, paying for tons of pizza and food, we were accosted by Robin, and told that we needed to purchase a party table (I believe that it was an additional $25). I explained that we had called ahead, and her staff had said that it was ok. I also explained that we had purchased a whole bunch of food, beverages, game tokens and admission, and we didnt have more money to pay for a table. She told me that it was a fire code issue for us to sit in the normal seating (which was a lie, their normal seating is bolted to the floor and cannot be rearranged, and there were only 12 of us. We had four 4-top tables). She told us that we would all have to leave, and that she would not refund our money. I felt like I was being extorted. We had spent all of our money, and had thought that we were following all of the rules. It was an extremely disappointing experience to have on my sons 5th birthday. It was extremely embarrassing. It is not as if we did not call in advance to make sure it would be ok. She only backed down when I threatened to write a letter to the local newspapers about how we had been treated. Then, she kept walking past us staring to make sure we werent breaking any rules. To top all of this off, they just increased the admission by 25%. Obviously, she is free to do what she would like. However, I would recommend spending your family entertainment funds elsewhere. This is not a person that cares about kids or their community. That is evident in their cleanliness and sanitation habits and the way that they treated my family on my sons birthday. The next time I come here will be for the Going out of business sale. I want that big gorilla..
Great place to take ur kids. Big play area plus has lots of arcade games ( some r very addicting lol, be prepared to spend more then u wanted lol)
My niece loved her birthday party here
Dont waste your time with this place! The manager is rude and uneducated with customer service. They dont listen to customer issues, or try to rectify a situation.
My kid loved playing in the jungle gym area and the arcade games.
Kids always have a blast! cant beat the price for $15 all day laser tag and play.
We used to like coming here, but we wont ever again. They instituted a new policy for lazer tag, based on height. There was no notice of the policy, verbal or written. I bought a child that was too short an all day play ($15) proceeded to the lazer tag game only to be informed of the new policy. My child and i exited the game to speak with the manager. To my surprise, He reiterated what the attendant stated. The wierd/inconsiderate thing was that he was the one who sold us our admissions! I could have just bought a playground admission ($8) and saved 7 dollars.
I purchased a groupon luckily because theres no way Id pay full price. I ordered nachos and the sauce was ice cold and cheese luke warm. Went up to get them microwaved so it wouldnt taste so nasty. The 50 some year old woman who is the manager/cook refused and said she brought them out along time ago. 5 min isnt that long and the cheese and coney sauce should be the same temperature! Fries were not cooked all the way. The root beer float had nothing but root beer for $4. I purchased $30 worth of nastiness from there and nothing was edible and I couldnt even get my food microwaved! 2nd time being there and this will be my last. Oh and there was maybe 5 families so its not like they were busy.
Good clean fun. Kids love it here.
GROSS DIRTY NASTY place. Im convinced the 5 star reviews are the owners cause no way can parents who are decent think this place is good! I do not think they have ever cleaned this place, like ever! The mats are ripped up and torn and they just taped them back together. The dust bunnies in this place are larger than some of the children. Its definitely a place for the health department should visit. NASTY DIRTY
Great place to take the kids for a fun filled day!
Great for the kids!! Lots to keep them entertained. Go home wore out
Awesome! Worth the 10 unlimited laser tag
We did a birthday party here and its was overly priced and I dont like the fact that you have to pay for the adults I think thats a bit ridiculous and another thing is they rush the party my son and his cousin were not even able to open thier gifts and at some points it was hard to find the party host. The kids enjoyed it but we would never do another party here again, we would take our son for a day of play but thats about it.
The kids have so much fun here.
Great place for some Lazer tag!
It was ao hot inside that everyone was sweating and using the menus as fans. They also wouldnt allow our 1yr old to have her goldfish snacks (no outside food allowed even for babies?)
If it wasnt for some of the line staff, particularlyOnesty, my family and I wouldve left. The manager/owner was rude and disrespectful when we came in. I called a week and a half in advance to get a room for a birthday party for my son and they said they were booked and no longer reserved tables and suggested that I get there when they open to make sure I had a table for the group that would be celebrating with us because it was going to be packed. When we arrived with our cake and presents in hand (and the place was Absolutely empty, only 2 small families at a table that we could see) we were told that we could come in but couldnt bring the cake or presents...I was like, why wasnt I told this over the phone as I explained the phone conversation. They went and got the manager and she walked up and started talking about their policy and how we couldnt come in with the cake and presents. Then I began to talk and she started overtalking me, not giving me a chance, then suggesting that we could come in and then GO AROUND A CORNER TO A PARK AND HAVE OUR FOOD AND CAKE....WHAT?!?! She said that they advertise their policy on their website and Facebook ((their website is so outdated its hard to follow and frustrating). I told her that I didnt use Facebook but I called and none of what she said was shared with me over the phone (as I looked around an empty room), she said that she had no control over what was or wasnt shared over the phone....REALLY!?!?! SO YOURE A BUSINESS THAT WANTS A BREAK WHEN CONVENIENT AND U DONT WANT CERTAIN PEOPLE THERE!?!? My wife Jessica suggested that we should probably go somewhere else and the MANAGER AGREED and said MAYBE THAT WOULD BE BEST. I proceeded to say that it wouldnt be best because we had people coming for my sons birthday and it was about him, not us. We ended up buying a birthday party package (didnt want to give then a dime, but didnt have comparable options at the time), and their was only 1 maybe 2 parties back there when it was advertised as completely full. The lady that took care of our party, Onesty, was terrific. She made this very uncomfortable scenario better. My son and his friends played but we will NEVER return again and will talk to our kids about RUDENESS, LYING, PREJUDICE, PRIDE IN SELF AND RACE.....The MANAGER/OWNER WAS TERRIBLE!
Ive taken my 2 year old there 4 times, most recently last weekend. Ive not experienced any of the smells others describe. The equipment is in good repair and clean (as observed during my 3 hours in there with my son). There are attendants on duty, however I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they only enforce a handful of rules instead of the mountain of rules that prevent kids from having fun as is so often the case in these kinds of facilities. Other staff has always been pleasant. We ordered the pizza there once and it wasnt great or terrible...as is natural to expect in this kind of facility.I think the 1 star reviewers need to lighten up. Its a facility that gets swarmed by kids daily who are by definition unsanitary and smelly. I know that folks tend to forget that life existed before Purell and germ phobias, however Im reasonably certain that it did and we as species have flourished.
Came here when the kids had a snow day off of school. The kids (ages 2, 5, 8, and 10) absolutely LOVED it and did not want to leave. They played on the playground for 2 hours straight, not even asking to play in the arcade or do laser tag.
Pretty cool place... I will be returning with the kids
Walk-in birthday parties not allowed on weekends. Only party room ones allowed which can cost $100+ Bad for business and not cost effective for families.UPDATE: They closed forever. That’s what I call business karma!
Line all the way out the door and then computer crashes waited in line for 45 minutes only to get to register and not even an appoligy nor a discount. Then to have to come up and get a ticket each time to do laser tag is ridiculous. Should change that protocol . Never come back to this place.
I am here now for the first time with my kids. It is filthy, dirty, nasty, disgusting. I would be afraid to eat here. I climbed up onto the play structure with my kids and that too is dirty, full of garbage and dust. Pieces of the plastic foam padding is coming apart. I hope we dont come home with bedbugs.
Ok, I am going to lay this out chapter and verse for parents who are looking for a place to go with the kids for a great day of entertainment. I read most of the reviews on Google, and probably close to half said that the place was not clean, very dirty etc. I dont know about their experience as I wasnt with them, however, for our trip down there, the play area, the eating area and the arcade seemed very clean to me and my kids. I asked the kids specifically if they thought it was clean, and they are 8 and 9, so they do notice cleanliness, and they said it was cleaner than most other places like that that they had been to, including Kalahari in Sandusky. As for the food, I ordered a full sized pizza with half cheese and half sausage, and while it did take a while for the food to come out, it was pretty decent pizza. Was it five star Chicago style, no. Was it better than the cardboard they server at Chuck E. Cheese for 10 dollars more, absolutely. I cant speak to the rest of the food since thats all we had, but I would order food from them again and their prices are reasonable. The only negative I had was that the restroom that I used needed serious updating. I mentioned that to the young man by the door, and he said he thought the manager was working on getting that done, so hopefully it will be done sooner rather than later. For my part as a parent, I would recommend a tablet or computer (yes, they do have wi-fi) or a good book. I was able to sit at a table next to a plug, work on my computer and the time did seem to go by quickly for me too. There are also some couches in the playground area that you can hang out on too, so thats nice.Overall, I have rated this place five stars and I will take my kids back there again. It seemed very clean, the staff was very friendly and seemed to be good with the kids. My kids have never really played laser tag before and they had no issues with learning how to use the equipment or learning the game. We were there for five hours and the kids said it seemed like 10 minutes.
This place was filthy they didnt clean up anything. All of the prizes were very cheaply made things broke after 2 days. We got kicked out for saying ffuu we didnt finish the word. I would not suggest this for a family trip or fun day. Very unsanitary.
Great prices awesome staff and best value for your money
Loves this place. To bad its closing down soon :(
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME LAAAAAZZZZOOORRR TTTTTAAAAAGGGGG
Great place for indoor play. Needs more cleaning.
The jungle gym is big enough for grown ups to join in and the arcade has a wide variety of games for the whole family
Great place for a full day of fun. All-day lasertag & playground is a steal!
