Beautiful trails, fairly well marked and well kept. Views are stunning. Just be careful with it being so dry that you are wearing shoes with good grip or hiking poles as needed... some areas that would normally be fine were so dry they caused alot of slipping. We got to see falcons, lizards, plenty of deer, and a snake.
It was very puppy friendly! Everyone was super nice, caring, and understanding. The place was kept all nice and clean, so I didnt have to worry about my lil mutt getting into anything. Absolutely beautiful views all around. And its not too difficult to walk up! Would definitely recommend for someone who either is wanting a not-too-difficult hike, or someone who would love to see the beautiful views towards the top!
Beautiful hiking area, any season of the year. Access gates lock around dusk.No water available.
Insane views. Incredible overlooks. A new favorite hangout!
Prescott park is a wonderful place to visit. You can walk the trails or walk the road. There are many people who are enjoying the area so you will experience and friendly hello along the way. I noticed lots of places a p and person could sit peacefully and enjoy the view overlooking the Rouge valley. There are many areas you can picnic and enjoy lunch. Please check out the beautiful area.
Picnic area, hiking trails, great views of the valley. In a little less than two hours, we hiked to the summit and back.
Great option for a lovely walk with fantastic views! Well maintained a close drive for my wife and I to enjoy nature so close to town
Its so beautiful a little bit of a drive but its worth it, always packed with people but there are so many trails its easy to loose everybody
Great lookout view of medford
Great location! Very close to town with multiple hiking trails, appropriate for beginning hikers and kids. Fantastic view from the top of Roxy Ann Peak for photos too.
Todays hike: magical. We started at the upper parking lot.
The park has many trails ranging from easy to difficult. Great views and smooth terrain from hiking. Throughout the loop there are benches and picnic tables. One of my favorite spots in medford.
Good trails full of smiling people.
Great little quick hike with beautiful views of.the valley. Easy and accessible.
Over crowded but accessible. Lots of runners, beginning exercisers (KUDOS!), and people that want to look like cool hikers. Can take the road all the way up or do several different side trails
Great place that they have improved even more over the years. It is very accessible for a wide variety of individuals.
Easy hike, improved parking area halfway up the road! Nice views of Medford.
Always nice to take a hike at Prescott Park.
I love this park! The view is incredible and it has varied trails for your liking. You can drive up to the top and do a hike or you can make it a nice trek to by walking up. Most people drive, but I see a decent amount of people walking.
Very nice shorter hike. Great views of Medford.
Fun hiking spot for the family, rewarding views at the top. Take any trail from the bottom that is steep and you will end up at the gorgeous views. Watch out for Mountain Bikers!
Fabulous trails and views close to Medford.
Nice place.
Nice over view of the city. Cool because you can drive up and not get out of the car and catch a great sunset and view of the cityShort 20/30 min walk to the peak is worth itCloses at sundown
First time there. But would definitely go back because I experienced wonderfully beautiful views!!
Great hiking and a person can take their dog.
F-in awesome! Great hike with the kids!
One of our favorite places to hike. Close to town and offers moderate to advanced hiking, biking, and running trails. Love taking the kids here!
Cool public park that climbs to the top of a prominent peak seen from throughout Medford. You can drive mostly to the top, where a mile+ dirt trail leads to the top for great views of the Rogue Valley. This park definitely gets hot during the middle of the day, so morning or evening hikes are recommended, as well as bringing water and sunscreen.
Very nice area with an interpretive trail system. The top has a gorgeous view of the valley. The area is highly congested, and if you want something a bit more serene I would look elsewhere. If you want something close, and dont mind a lot of people it is still a beautiful area to explore.
Cool park system. I like that there is somewhere so close to town to get some mountain biking in.
I take the kids and dog for walks on the loop road and I ride the trails on my hard-tail. Its a great park that is quick and easy to access. Although, watch out for poison oak.
Significant improvement to the trail system over the years. New, second parking area closer to the quarry makes the trail network more accessible for hikers. Lovely views of the entire valley.
That was a great hiking area with a bunch of trail heads and lots of trees, they even had benches along side every so often and a picnic area with a restroom out house with plenty of stocked toilet paper and it was very clean. Nice place, tuff in the dampness and probably impossible in the mud. The posts say not to hike if the trail is muddy. All in all this place was very cool.
Plenty of trails and some great views. On the other hand, the park can become a little too crowded on a weekend.
If Herman likes it here, everyone will!
Marvelous views all around. Easy hiking on the dirt roads with a couple steep parts. Trails in the wet season are sticky clay... no fun.
Beautiful place for a quick hike!
Great for quick mt.bike ride, have good memories and views, wolf, bears, deer, cougars here but are rare.
Fantastic running and MTN bike trails. But muddy when rains. STICKY mud!
Great place to hike. There are a variety of trails to choose from. The gravel road is easy enough for small children. The dirt paths can be steep and challenging (just dont go when its muddy!) Views are breathtaking and its magical to come up above the clouds on foggy days. A warning - watch out for rattlesnakes in the summer. And consider mace / a taser if hiking alone or in case of wildlife. Cougars have been spotted.
Great place for hiking. Numerous easy trails to choose from. Amazing views at the top!
Best park to go tracking and mountaineering.
Beautiful views when weather allows. Busy hiking area. Lots of people with dogs. Good trails. Can get muddy. Only suggestion I have is the need for lower parking area to be developed and with a portable potty station available.
Gravel path and picnic area. Stroller friendly. They have port-a-potties at the parking and picnic area. Not much shade so bring lots of water!
My favorite easy, family friendly hike. Amazing views!
Beautiful view of Rogue Valley.
Great trails, easy to experienced levels you can spend hours here. Make it a picnic.
Great hiking. Get out of the city. What a jewel!
Nice easy trails
Great place to explore on a variety of trails with gorgeous views of the entire valley. Table rocks and Mt. McLaughlin both visible from multiple areas of the park, as well as Mount Ashland and the greater Medford area. Trails vary from easy to difficult, park loop road allows for great running, walking, dog friendly adventuring. Parking along road at lower gate or at parking lot further up where theres a port-a-potty.
I appreciate how close this park is to town and how many miles of hiking there are, both on single track trail and on gravel road (the single track can get nasty with sticky clay when wet). From the first gate to the top and around the park road loop is 7.5 miles.
Was recommended this park from the employees at the Rogue Regency Inn. Great hike which provides awesome views of Medford. Definitely recommend!!
Well maintained park that has a variety of difficulty for hiking/ biking. View from the top is well worth the extra effort.
Friendly walkers, runners, hikers, bikers and dog walkers in a beautiful setting. Every time.
Beautiful spot with a lot of trails to explore. Your shoes can get very clay/muddy so come prepared.
My son loves the view there its beautiful
Great hike with multiple places to park and trails for all levels. Great view of the valley, especially at sunset.
Super fun, just know there are multiple different parking spots. The one with two porta pottys is the top lot. This helps knowing when you have little kids.
Never gets old
Beautiful! Disappointed that you couldnt drive to the picnic area, but we made it work. Amazing views, worth the drive!
Beautiful park, great views, lots of trails.
Great for mt biking and hiking
Fun place to hike with several different routes to the top. Theres a large weather station at the top with beautiful views in the North and South directions. Before hike to the top and around, back to the beginning is roughly 4 miles.
Favorite hike in medford
What a nice park! Super trails, and the views are amazing!
Beautiful yet a bit warm today
Beautiful trails and fresh air
An awesome short hike if you dont have all day
Great views of the Valley! Mountain biking and hiking trails.
Beautiful view and hike and things to see over the rogue valley.
Good walking place
Great hiking!
Lots of hiking trails with varying difficulty
Excellent view from the top of the greater Medford area...
Nice to get above the valley. Views are fantastic and you have loads of options to choose from for length and difficulty of your walk.
Nice views of the Rogue Valley.
Excellent place!
Very nice park. Could use a water fountain, then it would be 10/10
The views are beautiful
Beautiful walks and views
Great place to get out and explore with the family!
Views amazing love that the trails are rated from easy to hard really love being able to hike all over
Great walk around Roxyanne
Nice variety of trails and paths.
There are so many trails & places to please everyone. Dogs are welcome! Climb to the top to see the gorgeous view. I love this place.
Lots of beautiful trails! Road is nice for walking with kids and pets
Please park below the FIRST/LOWER gate if you are staying after the park closes.YOU WILL BE LOCKED INSIDE!!!
Good trails and great views of the valley and surrounding mountains.
This place is easy to get to from the East Medford area and is a beautiful view of the city. Definitely somewhere you should check out at least once every so often during each season to enjoy both of you and natural Trail. This is good for both biking, hiking and casual stroll.
You can see the whole valley from here
Great park hiking, biking, walk your dog, great views easy access.
