Gorgeous park with excellent walking/running path thats about 1/3 mile. Easy to get to but very dark at night. There are lights the entire perimeter of the path but they didnt turn on as it got dark, so that was disappointing. Otherwise it was well maintained, great playground area, bathroom and water fountain, plus basketball courts. Also at a dead end street with great views of the mountains.

Lewis Park has its perks and its ... Unpopular detractors. But its unfortunately become a common blight amongst parks in America. This however is not my post on life at the bottom of socio-economics, this is a post on how great Lewis Park is. And it really is. There is a splash pad, that believe it or not is never super crowded... Even on those blistery hot days of summer. The playground is the thing of childish dreams, lots of things for kids to climb on, in, over, through, around and back again. The design keeps the children semi contained, easily observed. But as the monkey bars are conquered and the sports become more fun, the basketball court is adjacent to the playground. So for those with lil tykes n teens ....pack that picnic basket, and find a shadey spot under a tree. Theres several and from a well chosen spot you can have quiet a afternoon where the kids can socially distant themselves and you can enjoy a moment of normal life.Lewis park is located near Blackbird shopping center, and is set back away from traffic, the street ends at the parking lot of the park, a looping sidewalk bends around the park perimeter and is popular among walkers n talkers. And if you happen to see a guy strolling through the park while playing a guitar, make a song request and Ill give it a try.

Decent park, but there are junkies running around. Seems like the police stopped caring.

Pulled up in one of two shaded parking spots in my RV and not even ten min later there were two City police officers knocking on my door with nothing but entrapment on their minds... completely unnecessary and a waste of time ...I wont be frequenting that park... Guaranteed

Didnt feel safe. A lady was drugged out of her mind acting like she was going to steal a ladies diaper bag as she played with her kids, someone living in the bushes by the water, men screaming at their children very angrily. It was clean though and there was a open public bathroom.

Its got the potential to be a good park, but there are drug users who frequent the area. That being said, Im very nervous of the area thats completely out of sight of the playground that kids can wander off to. There are a few pockets, one path, and one human-made trail that kids can disappear into. The park itself: the are no trees around the play area, so it gets very hot in summer, as does the equipment itself. I do LOVE the water area: its very small and closed in. Nice, big green field too.

Beautiful Park. Nice homes around it. Unfortunately the bathrooms need some help. There was urine all over it just stunk. We have a homeless problem in that area it needs to be addressed

Its a neat park with splash pad, and big and little kid toys. Lots of grass to run and play. But when we visited, transient people were camped out under the shade trees by the bathroom area and splash pad. Also in the green belt area near the bathrooms. It felt very uncomfortable being there with my little kids, as the transients took turns bathing in the outdoor shower, and monopolizing the one and only bathroom.

Nice little park with lots of room for kids. There is a big playground and a small water play area. Its also got a big grassy area and basketball courts. It also has a walking path around the whole park. The only downfall is there seems to be homeless at the picnic tables. Medford big downfall....

There used to be a vacant lot where this park is and it was pretty much the local mattress dump, but the city saved it they put a really great Park here and it is well loved by the community.

Great park! It has a water park thats active during the summer months. A couple of basketball courts. A walking /running path. A good sized play structure for both little kids and bigger kids. The park is nicely covered in bark so the ground is soft. Dogs come and go in the park so sometimes youll find doggy surprises here and there. I really like how the park isnt all just flat, but its not on a hill either. Its nicely done to make you feel like there is some esthetically pleasing structure to the rise and fall of the land.

Worst, most disgusting park that I’ve ever been to. All structures are filthy. The park has not been kept up at all. Found dog poop & a dead rat in the bark at the play structure. Will NEVER return. If I knew how to attach pics I would...
