This is a location filled with all the fresh air you will ever need. Definitely my happy place where I can relax and enjoy nature.

I love this place! We went in the morning to avoid too much crowding and even when approaching noon it was still pretty tame and overall very pretty! Theres a few sidewalks through some woods and a playground not too far away from the lake. The water gets pretty deep fairly quickly but the shallow end is pretty extensive cause the shore is long. So kids and swimmers can all have a time.

A park for fishing, walking, kayaking and picnics. Ample free parking

It was an amazing experience!! First time on the beach here in the Arlington. Im impressed with the way they have it blocked off to show the drop off point. Everyone was spaced far enough away to keep a good 6ft distance.

Ospreys, Red tailed Hawk, magnificent Bald Eagles.. these are frequent visitors of the park. A real delight for photographers like me.

Kayaking on the lakes, saw a heron, swans and turtles. Calm and surrounded by Autumn colors.

Enjoy the day and maybe catch a glimpse of a pair of American bald eagles who have nested in the area of the U.M.L.D.

Great place to spend evenings in the summer. There are lots of beautiful hiking trails in the area. If you just want to relax by the water, you can do so at an absolutely gorgeous beach (shown in picture). They have ample picnic tables if that’s your vibe. There’s never a shortage of parking at the state park. This is one of my truly favorite places outside of Cambridge and I will certainly keep coming back to it.

Sandy beach is always a good place to go if you just want to get out of your house. Isnt a big thing but is better than nothing, most of the people youd find are families so besides the music that people plays (usually reggaeton) the place is kid friendly and family friendly.

Quiet and not highly trafficked. They shouldnt allow boats on this river. Too narrow and the jerk kids on jetskis are harming the wildlife such as turtles, swans, ducks, and geese

Terribly polluted water with trash and plastic. But still some good views

One of favorite lakes in Medford but sadly this summer bacteria has been put of control so havent been able to swim during my last two visits. Still love it though ♡

Gets busy in the weekends but great place with few people during the week.

Calm and quiet, you can find places to sit on the ground near the water and just relax.

Nice place and really relaxing to spend the time looking at the birds wade around the water. Fortunately for me that’s the place where I saw my first Bald Eagle, was really thrilled to see such a majestic bird. Will be visiting place more often.

Its a good place to freshen up but it can become crowded fast. Overall its ok, not that theres anything much better in a short distance

A wonderful place to spend some time enjoying the scenery. Sometimes it smells a little bit and the geese can be agressive in the Winter but otherwise a beautiful place.

Great place to take hikes if you live in Winchester or nearby cities. Please note that on weekends, parking can be hard to find so it is better to walk to bike if you are close by.

Good place for a walk or run. Dont recommend for biking because of the car traffic and the lack of bike lanes.

Good place to swimming, grill gas only, walk, and relax. Personal bathrooms there is sanitized. No changing place, but good place for spend the entire day. No lifeguard, plenty parking space. One playground for kids. Bring your bottle of water or your cooler. Bring your food cooked or to do grill. And spend wonderful time talking the sunshine or lay down on the sand. Bring your family, friends and have fun.

Privately owned access for most of it. Trash in a lot of parts but some areas were very clean and beautiful.

It provides a grand view over wet terrain. A natural cove of sorts, where priests and chiefs gather to ruminate.

I absolutely love walking along the Mystic in this area. Its not a park with lots of terrain and its not like a super secluded nature area (thus the 4 stars) since its borders some thickly settled neighborhoods, but its fairly well tended to and still has the occasional wild life encounters (birds, beavers, etc.). Theres also basketball, tennis, and playground features available.I live nearby and walk my dog here a lot, which is common. Unfortunately, many owners arent aware that picking up after their dogs is the necessary and polite thing to do, so youll sometimes have to watch out for poo, but its not the worst area Ive come across with this issue.Its a very pretty area and easily accessible stretch of the Mystic thats perfect for a relaxing strole or jog.

Nice place to walk or just enjoy the scenery. Very busy on the weekends and be ready for a heavy Latino crowd. Dont worry, its a family atmosphere, the food smells great and you probably wont understand a word. They might even be making fun of you, but you wont know it or care.

Excellent beach, clean, beatiful with a lot of amenities for kids. Lifeguards are very kind, the landscape is amazing, with a lot of tree shadows and picnic tables. Parking is near to the beach. And all this is for free making this place all inclusive, at the reach of all families fulfilling a noble social mission. Briefly, the best beach in MA.

Beach could use better facilities. Swiming from the boat launch is prohibited, but much nicer entry to water than the beach. Why are only boat club members allowed to cross the dam? Thats public land.

Lovely shaded walks along the lakes and river. Lots of runners, dogs, strollers, bikes and walkers. Friendly. Even tennis and basketball at one end. Childrens playground.

Amazing place! Peaceful... its a shame that people destroy the area with trash! Today was especially bad with inappropriate and potentially dangerous trash items. It would be nice if they could take it with them so the rest of could enjoy a safe and beautiful environment.

Green area bordering mystic river and lakes. Easy access. Many use it for a swim in the lake.

Nice little park that runs along the road adjacent to the Mystic Lakes. A few play and beach areas with some easy hiking trails. Check out the parking lot of the Medford Boat Club for bird watching - especially in the winter when you will see eagles.

Nice, peaceful park with trails that go around the lake. Relaxing place to watch the birds or have a picnic. The sailboats are nice to see too.
