Play Arcade Kitchen

They were out of fries and wings on a Saturday night. I could understand that, but then the games would take my sons credits and the game wouldnt work. This happened 3 times on differe t games. The one hostess did refund the credits. The bartender seemed to be doing a lot but she was very nice.

Play provides my family with an overall good experience each time we visit. The menus are pretty decent. We can beat the kids in a few games of bowling or basketball, or relax with an adult beverage or two while they run wild. The games are not as costly as Dave and Busters, although its considerably smaller. I love the cozy atmosphere though because its never overcrowded. They also have pretty good customer service which is always a huge factor for me to continue visiting any place.

This place was fun. I had the chicken Cobb salad and my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles sandwich. I enjoyed my salad it was a nice size for the price. Boyfriend he didnt like the chicken because it was cooked in old/ burnt cooking oil. This place puts you in the mind of Dave and Busters but a lot more affordable and a lot less crowded. Really enjoyed our time there

Food was good! I had a cheeseburger with French fries and I always enjoy it! Service at the bar was great, but at the table was a little slow. Took a while to get the food. Just as we started to wonder, it came to the table. Very loud in there, but I did not mind. I would definitely go back again.

Quite pricey though they dont offer as much as DaveNBusters in food/drink options and games, however, very fun place to be! Food is good and the games that they do have are the common games but a few I havent seen before. The Deal or No Deal and trivia game are the best. Make sure you either budget, or have lots to spend because youll definitely be enticed to spend. The arcade, however, could use more cleaning and brighten the lights a little bit. Overall great place to be and hope to return soon!

Went there on a slow Sunday afternoon there were only four tables our food took way too long to get and every refill we had to go to the bar for. The games are extremely outdated in a large portion of them are broke.the chicken wings are flash baked which turns them black so they have a carbon taste no matter what flavor you get. I get chicken wings all over town and Ive never been served burnt looking wings that tastes like carbon on the outside but have white meat on the inside. They werent awful. They do make a really good homemade ranch and the carnival style corn dogs the kids had were actually pretty good too. If Im spending money on a Sunday afternoon next time round 2 in mentor gets my dollars

Came during happy hour with a Groupon which honored alcohol. The brisket burger, play punch, and play chips are good. The Buffalo chicken Mac n cheese was not good, but w/e we let that slide. The games we tried seemed functional and the service was great.

The whole place is completely unorganized. Took forever for the food to arrive and they forgot one of the plates. Didnt get it until everyone else had finished eating. The arcade is just okay, kind of like an old chuckie cheese. Nothing really special about it. A little dirty too. The staff behind the ticket counter both seemed to have attitude problems and seemed very annoyed when I had to interrupt their personal conversation to ask a question. One of them expressed OUT LOUD that she wished they had a curfew for the younger kids so they would have to leave earlier. I mean, REALLY? The only pleasant associate was a young lady behind the bar, she seemed very apologetic. I didnt catch her name but Im assuming she was some kind if manager. It was our first and probably last time well go there. We just werent impressed at all.

Stood at front for seven minutes. Looked at by many staff but ignored. Watched several servers come and go at tables with orders that were wrong..... But no one offered to seat me. Finally someone came to the front and asked me if I had been helped. I told her that she should stand there for the next seven minutes as long as I have been standing there in order to feel ignored like I have. She looks at me and in mid-sentence says okay and walks away from me. Completely ignored for seven minutes and then an employee either being malicious or incompetent - awesome customer service. (Thats sarcasm.... The employee who interacted with me had an attitude and made zero - zero - effort to try to help or even offer to get a manager. She just walked away.)First time I ever went there and will be the last.Lots of bad reviews. I should have paid attention and taken them seriously .EDIT: The company encourages people to continue the conversation on their private website, away from the eyes of the public, when complaints are made. No dice. Bottom line is awful customer service, horrible uncaring attitude and dismissal from your staff, no attempt to help or get a manager. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Always a really good place for a family gathering!So very sorry Play Arcade is closing. I have really enjoyed all our gatherings both family and intimate. I really hope the owner opens at another location. You WILL be missed.

Went to watch the Ohio State bowl game. Took forever to be seated, then took another 20 minutes to even get someone to take my drink order. Order came out wrong, didnt even bother to mention it. Food was lukewarm when it arrived, fries were barely warm. Never had anyone come by to see how my food was or ask if I wanted drink refills. Wont go back there ever again, wasnt worth the hassle and lack of customer service.

Extremely dissatisfied. We wait on the table for 45 minutes, servers walked by several times without asking if we needed anything.After all that wait, my wife approached somebody at the Bar to gethelp,Finally they took our order, staying they were really sorry, that the food will be coming out soon. Not exactly we wait another 45 minutes until we decided to leave the place. Management did not showed up at all. We are really down to earth people but this kind of service is unacceptable..The owner of Play Arcade will need to have a serious review on what it is going on his business, otherwise the future looks really bad for this place. I will not recommend Play Arcade and Kitchen to anybody.

Staff and manager for the theatre are very rude and when called out on it they laugh at you. Would never come here again for any events nor recommend anyone else do so unless you want to get ripped off and treated poorly.

We have been to Play quite a few times, but unfortunately I feel like it has gone downhill. My family went last night, ate dinner first and the food heavily needed seasoning. I used to think the food was really good, but last night I was not impressed at all, but the service was good at least. Sitting at the table eating, there were A LOT of gnats/fruit flies flying around which I was not happy about! After dinner we played games and almost half of the games were broken, including some that you didnt know were broken until you wasted credits trying to play. The game room isnt that large, so for half of the games to be broken its kind of ridiculous. I even spoke with another customer there who was very frustrated that a lot of the games were broken. My husband, son, and I left with the notion that we probably wont be back, we will just go somewhere else for dinner and gaming from now on. Very disappointing because I really liked Play when they first opened.

My kids and I love the place! To bad theyre closing there doors. Not to many places around anymore where kids can play real arcade games.

They were not prepared for our large group. Service was slow and not organized. Our server really did the best he could with all the people.

Its sort of like the bridge between a Chuck E Cheese and a Dave and Busters. They serve real food and have games for all ages. Unfortunately their machines break regularly and their prizes are strictly for children.

Very below average food and games. If its convenient, it is ok but I wouldnt go out of my way to stop here. Its a very small Dave and Busters wannabe that falls way short.First and last time well be there.

My tickets were not producing and it smelled like egg but, the prizes were cool I got 73 suckers

We had a minor issue with our food and the staff was courteous with addressing and fixing the issue.

My 84 yr old Dad sat in one of their wobbly metal chairs. He fell backwards and hurt his elbow. That floor is NOT safe to accommodate those type of chairs.

Super fun. Lots of games to play. Pizza was delicious.

This was my first time coming here! We came to watch a show. Food and service was great. Place is very clean! Such a neat place with video games, food and entertainment! I will definitely be back!

Was there for a wedding reception and it was a night to remember. Great ambiance, excellent food and service and a very talented band. The perfect setting for fun and entertainment! I would recommend it most highly!!

I had a groupon for 40 dollars worth of food and 20 dollars worth of game play so we ended up only having to give a tip to the bar tender/waitress. I had wings which came out fast and were delicious! My GF ordered a pizza which was pretty good too. We got there before 7pm so our drinks from the bar were half off (and strong too lol). We were surprised the place wasn’t very crowded to be a Friday night but that meant more games for us to play! We loved the the air hockey! Some of the games were out of order but the place gave us back any credits we used on our game card. Would definitely come back for another date night or even just something to do to get out of the house on a gloomy Cleveland day!

Good food and good prices, even for the games. Missing a star because a lot of the games were only partially working. Would be nice to have more arcade game choices.

Used a Groupon to visit. Was very nice the food was great, the service was great. A couple of the games were not working but overall a very nice visit and very affordable. Will visit again when I come to the area.

Shannon & Alicia are the best. Food quality and taste are above average, service is exceptional. Fun place to have a drink, eat, watch sporting events. Great atmosphere. Fun for the whole family.

Very clean. Service is quick and the staff is friendly and very helpful. I really had fun. The place is great to hang and have drinks and if you have children they can have fun too.

Honestly a disaster. We had a group of 10. They put a waitress on our table that was on her first night on the job. She screwed up several orders. They took forever to get our food out and made at least 5 mistakes of the 10 people. No offer to discount or take an item off. The manager didnt even make an appearance after all of the mistakes at our table. The food wasnt a good value for the price and I wouldnt recommend it to my animals to eat there. Not sure about the gaming. We were so tired of waiting for everything ( including asking for our check twice) we didnt even attempt to go there. Save your money and time and go anywhere else.

Food is a 5 star, service is a 5 star but the layout was better before at the Boneyard. Too noisy too busy felt like we were in chucky cheese.

Went for a club meeting, not the games. We had a private room with 2 servers who did a good job. The food was above average. The onion rings were huge and the salmon quite good.

The food was horrible. The pizza was very soft and soggy and the pepporoni was way too extra, and the fries tasted uncooked. The arcade was pretty bad and underwhelming too. The waitresses and the workers of the arcade were very unprofessional and rude.

It smells of sewage and the games are of bad quality. But the food tastes pretty good.

Pricey in all aspects but games. Went with a friend of mine and spent $100 easily for about an hour worth of fun. The game selection is no different than your local Chucky Cheese with a few good older selections that was not working during our visit. Played like 2 different arcade games out of 30 they had and only about 22 worked. Played mini bowling and had a few drinks... Quite disappointing and will take the half hour drive to Dave and Busters next time.

Like Chuck-E-Cheese but with better games, better food and no Chuck-E. Way better drinks and way better pizza. Someday somebody will find a way to properly join video games, food and booze together in the way it COULD be, but this place is pretty close. They also have live music in a separate space around back, which I havent been to yet.

Nice place. Nice games. Nice prize selection. The kids love it and I am happy when they are happy. Food is good when it is actually make correctly. Last time I was there I gave up on my food being right and cashed out. Our food kept coming out with different missing items that the menu listed. Server was nice, apologetic and joked about the issue but I wasnt about to send it back a third time.

What a RIP off. You have to pay $2.00 for a play card that you load with $$ to play the games. Many of the games were broken. The food took forever to arrive and then most of it was terrible. The only good item was the mac and cheese. You dont have a choice on your tip. They automatically add 20% for great or terrible service. I will never go again.

Amazing food, competent and friendly service. Had a good time, spent around $40 for two dinners, two sodas, and a few games. First time here, will be back. Came on a Wednesday at about 8pm. Was steady, but not too busy. Also, trivia night starts at 7 on Wednesday. If you go before 7 on the weekdays they have 1/2 off deals.

Great place to grab a drink, watch the game and play a couple video games. Fun for the whole family as well as great customer service. Its like a mini Dave and Busters on the local level.

What can I say.... it has really old games thats about it. Very disappointed that on a Friday they wanted 7$ cover to see a local band I can see free at Wild Eagle Saloon next weekend. There were only about 25 patrons in the theatre area. If you want to drive customers in to eat and drink offer free entertainment like the competition. You will net way more than 7$.

Awesome place. First time going and had dinner with my wife and son. Food was great, reasonably priced. Terrific service and the game room is fun! Like a mini arcade. Great family dinner place or date night place. 2 thumbs up

Food was really good, server did a great job. Unfortunately the arcade portion is very underwhelming. Super small area, bunch of the games were broken and/or didnt function properly. If they extended the arcade, added in more claw machines, better prizes, and more modern games, the place would be great. Unfortunately, Id recommend avoiding Play, if your intention is to go to the arcade. If youre just looking for some food, the bar portion was good!

I went to Play with a few of my friends, we mostly wanted to check out the atmosphere, in fear it may be too young of a crowd for us. While the arcade games are super kid friendly, there are plenty of cool games that adults can enjoy too. My friends and I had a blast! Our server, Caitlin, was amazing! She helped us with the menu; with her suggestion, I ordered the Play Burger with sweet potato fries and we all shared the Crispy Green Beans! My food was delicious, best sweet potato fries Ive ever had. I highly recommend checking this place out! The service, games, food, and drinks were all great! We will definitely be returning!

From the time we walked in, to the time we left, we felt very welcomed. The staff is very personable. Considering how large of a place Play is, there is always someone there to answer any question or point you in any direction you wish to go. The waitress Jaime was excellent from begining to end, and the bartender Alicia made our drinks perfect. Our meal was exactly how we had ordered it, and zero complaints-we can tell they make orders fresh. I will absolutely come back and spread the word.

I am not even sure, where I should start! Last night I took my son, and godchildren out for dinner and playing Arcade games, we live in Old brooklyn so we traveled about 30 mins there and 30 mins back. When we arrived, from the outside the place is very well lit and looks inviting with the patio, but once inside it wasnt such a pleasent experience. We were sat at a table that was so sticky you couldnt even put your elbows on the table without them sticking to it, we waited for about 15 minutes for a server to come to our table, we had to go to the host and ask her to send a server over to us, her words to us were Im sorry she has alot of tables, she came over about 5 minutes later and took our drink order. we placed our order right away because at this time we knew it would take a while to get our food out. When our food arrived, it was cold, soggy (patty melt), and the frys were stale with herbs on top of them, they were cold to the touch. my godchild had the kids chicken tenders and berries, all she was able to eat were the berries, because the chicken tenders were so slimmy and the batter just slide off of them, so we sent them back for being raw!, The general manager came over and offered us game cards, which was pretty sweet, but he failed to tell us that, the same morning they had a power outage, and most of the games were broken or down, and some of them took credits but didnt actually work. The prize counter was another disaster! Only one clerk, with multiple people she is taking care of. It comes to my turn and she looks at me and says that she has to go get her co worker who was supposed to be helping her. The manager still gave us a check for almost 30$, we paid it, the server came over we gave her exact change, she counted the money, and said is this everything? I look confused, she wanted a tip for no service and food that was raw? Ok so I told her take the check and ill leave her something on the table, she said to me oh no, dont do that, they steal peoples tips off the table here, so if youre going to give me something, ill just take it right here. I wish I were making this up, but this is exactly how the night went. It is not even worth it go to to this establishment, the toys are cheaper, and better at chuckie cheeses! Horrible Service, low quality management!

We had a lot of fun! We found a groupon deal and had $40 in food and $20 game card. The food was delicious, but it took forever and things were actually cold when we finally got them. We then ordered some brownie bites, which again were absolutely delicious, but they took 45 minutes to get to us. multiple other customers were having issues while we were there and the manager was doing his best to make everyone happy. I know it wasnt his, or our waiters, fault. But the food service was insanely slow with no apparent reason for it.

Massive free roaming arcade with a excellent kitchen attached. Great place for parties. Has a ton of arcade games including two duck bowling lanes!

I had a great experience here! The food was great! I highly recommend asking for the server Caitlin, she checked on us frequently, made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. After playing some games my friends and I decided to grab a drink and watch the game for a bit at the bar. The bartender, Shannon, was very friendly and served us quickly! Overall great place, great service, great food!

I had fun, theyre expectations were a little unreasonable with their ball pit event and certain staff was rude while others were absolutely wonderful. When I attend another event Ill leave further review.

My family and I went to Play over the weekend and it was a great experience. The kids had a blast in the Arcade! Our sever, Lexi, was wonderful! She was very attentive and Fun! At her recommendation I ordered one of their monthly specials, the gobbler burger, and y’all, it was like thanksgiving in my mouth. We will definitely be back soon!

I was here for the Post Road Concert so the place was obviously packed. With such a massive and huge, very big, band playing at such a small venue I was very nervous. But Play Arcade handled the massive crowd well. They had beer gardens in addition to a large properly staffed bar. I got hit with a mini frisby but its cool, my dog ate it. They had the red carpet set up for VIPs but I didnt see any. Overall its a nice place.

Waitress showed her face like every 15mins, My dates veggie post bottle was burnt, other than that it was okay.

My family was visiting from out of town recently. I have triplet 8 year old nieces and we thought itd be a idea to take them somewhere where we could have good food and fun. We couldnt have been happier with our experience! Our server, Lexi, was so accommodating, as my nieces are super picky about food, and even made some really great suggestions! Well definitely be back and absolutely will request our server again! Lexi was the sweetest!!
