Very rude and terrible service....... they questioned the way i was sitting and watched me....... which made me feel very uncomfortable because why would you question someone because of they way their sitting..... i don’t recommend coming here i feel like because of my race which is African American they watch me and my company which isn’t nice..... because while i followed covid regulations and others didnt have their mask on or not properly covering it over their nose i was still being watched and questioned for the way me and my other was sitting...... in conclusion i don’t recommend this skating rink.

I didnt even know roller skating was still a thing. Apparently it is! I hadnt been since 1989. The place looked and smelled *exactly* like the last place I went to in 89 in a different part if the country. The music was awesome too. If your looking for great exercise, a cheap activity, this is your place! I will definitely be back. It helps that I have a child, otherwise itd be creepy to be the middle aged person hanging out at the roller rink.

If youre looking for a place to have a childs birthday party. I recommend Ohio Skate. Call them. All we had to bring was the cake. They supplied everything else

It would have got 5 stars if the people that make the food was not trying to kill me with a petzel salty, salty pretzel I really liked it and it was a good This is my opinion.

I dropped my boys off at skating with their aunt to go skating with their cousin (this was about 830pm). Their aunt met them at the door and walked them to the payment center to go pay for their skates and admission. The lady at the counter said they were out of skates (mind you there was NO signs posted on any of the doors or walls saying they were out of skates). She said since they are out of skates that they cant come in, and that they have to be accompanied by a guardian. My aunt told her shes their aunt. My aunt informed her they got dropped off to skate with her grandson and his friend who was already inside skating, and that those our their cousins that came to skate with them. The lady says well these two will have to wait outside until skating is over (skating isnt over until 11, and its about 25 degrees outside, and my African American boys are 8 & 9 years old), my aunt asked could she just pay for their admission and the play in the arcade. The lady refused. My aunt ended up calling me. I spoke to the lady and informed her that I was on my way out of town & and they are staying with their aunt for the night. That they cant wait outside, its cold and thats dangerous, and that my boys (who never go to this skating rink) should not be penalized for the skating rinks lack of skates when skating isnt the only option. I had to beg her to let them in and threaten to call the news since this is discrimination. She eventually agreed to let them stay in the building, but they had to sit on the bench instead of with their family.

Place is so much fun with my kids. Everyone was nice. I will probably go back more often.

LOVE Ohio Skate!! We have our class Christmas party there every year, & kids, parents, & teachers alike, LOVE it!! Natalie (the owner) goes out of her way to make it such a pleasant experience!!

Ive been going here all the time since I was a very young kid, I love this place. Much less dangerous than the Alexis road building, and while their music selection isnt always the most up to date selection, you can always expect to have a great time, and interact with friendly, kind, and helpful staff!

I had a lot of fun!! Its a really good place to meet new people and just hangout with your friends. This one night it was July 6, 2019 i met this girl named Justice and we couple skated it was the best time of my life because i liked her and i was to afraid to ask her to couple skate. Also make everyday every hour every minute every second count no matter how bad things get.!!!!!

6 stars for the great accomidations, we came in while they were closing and they let us skate for our mothers memorial. They played all the songs we requested if they had them and were very sweet. Thank you

The skates are in terrible condition! The two times we visited, both ended with trips to the emergency room. Also very few tables to sit at. Getting to the parking lot is a nightmare.

Lovely floor, nice staff, clean. My only complaint is that that I’m not allowed to listen to my headphones/earbuds which is a dealbreaker.

Favorite place to go

Great dj. Mostly friendly staff. A few get slightly overwhelmed by the Kidd but pulled it together. Good for clan bathrooms. Wish there was more take

Nicely-run, family friendly spot. I took a teenaged international student here, even though I feared wed feel out of place, but when we arrived midday on Saturday there was a nice mix of kids, teens, and adults enjoying the rink.

The lady’s behind the counter are very rude. We first asked for fries, and they said they couldn’t give it to us because we are “underage” (were 12) and we will make a mess! there fries! give us our service. Then we asked for 3 root beers and the lady threw the straws at us!! I do not recommend going here! Very bad service (and rude)

We always go for kids school skate night, but it can also be set up for parties and I believe there is open skating as well. Low key and safe its a nice family place to visit. Also has the requisite arcade and tickets as well as some limited concessions. No outside void or drink though (I have been admonished before).

It was so nice and clean. Family oriented on Thursday evenings. They even do backwards skates and play games.

Good place and atmosphere I grew up here on every weekend myself todays gangster generation tends to make it difficult to enjoy places like this these days

This is a good place to take your family for an outing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and the music is enjoyable. However, some updates would not harm this place. The skates old and worn out.

The worker wasn’t very nice but there drinks and food were good but it was not nice it smelt like bo and weed it is VERY old and you can tell!

Definitely do not like the music here. I will not be going back because it is just mainly rap and country no Christian music. It is so hard to find a place in Toledo that plays this type of music so I normally stay home but it was a night for my children so I grinned my teeth and just looked in amazement how the parents have seemed to disappear in Toledo. The way the kids dress and act are like the way the parents act and dress anymore which to me is just AMAZING, no no judgment but I wont go to allow my children to think that this behavior is okay, and then you also had a group of workers in the office just talking with each other and on their cell phones while this little boy is waiting at the ticket counter for 10 minutes when I finally decided to go up to the office and tell someone they didnt do anything but call on a worker who was working on the floor, this place is thumbs down in my eyes!!

It was a great a place i liked the music the skates are fine and its clean but i just didnt like the hat policy ( you cannot wear a hat ) and other then that me and my friends had a good time just kinda wish we didnt go on a night that alot of younger lol cause they was falling

A really fun time that I would suggest for someone looking for a blast from the 90s. The attending audience is younger but dont let that stop you. They showed me new skate moves.

Amazing. So much fun! I did fall alot and I almost did the splits but it was still fun

I will start with the positives. They have newer music like stuff on the radio. It provides a good skating mood. The lights on the skating floor are cool too. The skating floor is very clean and smooth. The staff members on the skating floor are nice. Now to the negatives. All of the other staff was rude. When I asked if they had any fries at the snack bar the staff member had said no and that they take about 20 minuets to cook. Then I asked if there were any fries being cooked and she said no. I was fine with that and picked another item which was a pretzel . Then again they didn’t have any. The only thin they had was pizza and hotdogs. After all that she did nothing about there being no food. I decided to not get anything because of that.

A fun experience for kids of all ages, even those of us who are just kids at heart. At 67, i tried to skate again, actually rolled, but then my SANE side persuaded me to just REMEMBER skating! Much better....

The staff is not friendly.Im pretty sure that the heat is not on at all during the winter. It is absolutely freezing in the entire building.

Its a very good place and busy with skaters of all ages...training classes for kids below 13 I think on Saturdays 10 Am to 11 Am..A very modest fee of around $5...Its a little bit inside...u may miss the turn...and ample parking

We had fun with the kids, place needs some updates like there skates were very worn out.

Its was fun and kid friendly. They have specials on Friday for glow nights and run other specials like $3 skate admission and no skate rental fee.

For such an out of date looking place, they keep it clean. Great place for kids to have fun on the less expensive side!! I would give it 5 stars but in the summer this place has no AC. So hot!!

Guess when you have a birthday party you cant take pictures wont be going back again and a little high for birthday parties.

Went for bday party. Nice except rental skates were nasty and ripped up. Most of the games in arcade didnt work and the candy vending machines had melted nasty candy in it.

Too many rules. Cant take pictures. Not allowed to skate backwards except for specific times designated to do so, not allowed to hold on to your partner, not allowed to skate too fast, etc... Ive been on roller skates for 20 years. Not sure why I have to cater to the requirements of less experienced skaters. Floor is big, but not finished well. Whatever coating is on it doesnt provide much grip. Very slippery. Not good, especially if youre not an experienced skater. Even then, its tricky. It could be a very nice rink, but with so many restrictions and a poorly finished floor, it really kind of takes the fun out of it. Also, the food was pricey and pretty awful.

This place is amazing to skate at and I totally recommend it

Went there for a birthday party. This place has no air conditioning. We wasnt allowed to served ice cream cake and video the kids skating. Poor selections of music. The concession wouldnt cook fries because they said it would to hot.

I had my daughters birthday party here and we felt very rushed. A lady started throwing away food from our table that we wasnt done with. Also the skates that came with the birthday packet was not ready on the day of her party and my daughter was very sad she couldnt wear them at her party and she had her outfit on to match with it and everything. It took another full week to receive them. It wasnt enough food and when we asked to buy more they said there wasnt any and we couldnt bring more from out side the building.

Hadnt been here in a long time, took my daughter had so much fun.

Go during the week if you can. Not the weekends. TEENAGE. Can be stressful.

Great place for the kids to come and socialize roller skate and have an all-around great time. The sylheti is very nice well-kept clean although some of the arcade machines work dated and broken. All the skates were in very good repair they even had rollerblades available for an additional fee which was nice. Staff was friendly for the most part so I definitely think I would come back here with my family again

This place is still the same place it was in the 60s,70s,80s and 90s prices are reasonable and the owners are awesome.

This is the best roller skating rank. The staff is mostly helpful, food is priced just right, except the candy is 1.50. Guards are nice. Very updated music, but they have the worst rental skates

Terrible Staff, we were harassed multiple times by the employees. And they had no control over the rink, kids were getting knocked over by adults and the the employees just skate on by. Used to be a fun place but now is just a dump

This place is a nice throwback to the old days of roller skating. However, for some odd reason, in the age of social media, youre not allowed to take pictures or videos. Theyre missing out on a lot of free advertising when people could share theyre experiences with others and get more people out skating.The DJ/Shoe person was probably the least engaging person youd want to get the crowd excited, happy and involved. Hes also the person telling everyone they cant take pictures for Privacy reasons. Its a public place. There is no expectation of privacy and it ruins the experience when people can take pictures and videos of their friends and family having fun.The place also needs a good cleaning and updating. Several neon lights above the floor need replaced.Its still a fin place to go even with the shortcomings.
