The park is super well kept up. I also really appreciate the Friday farmers market.

Love going to the Herb Fest every year

An awesome park! Great swimming pool! There are some updates going on to the playground that are so neat! Free movies in the park on Friday nights in the summer months. Tennis courts and nice picnic areas also!

Nice and clean park good place to burn energy and take your dog on a walk and go swimming in the pool will recommend!

A variety of entertainment for people of all ages! I love going to here to play tennis, and the new garden additions have really made the place feel more like a community. Always clean and no trouble.

Great park for kids. One area for smaller kids & another for larger kids. The pool is wonderful in the summer. Love movies in the park & live music during the summer as well.

So clean! And a lot of places to relax and sit! The local library also host movies in the park during the summer. I think it ends in August.

I went swimming at the pool! It was so much fun. I got a bit sun burnt at the pool, but then again I didnt use sun screen. They have it for you but I chose not to use it.

Great park! I really like sitting at the fountain and watching the water during the warm weather months. My children have had a lot of fun at the pool and park here. Nice park play area, tennis courts, stage area and more. The public pool has a slide as well as diving boards. An asset to the community.

I went to the pool as a child and now bring grandchildren. Beautiful pavilions. We hold family reunions at Lytle.

Nice community park all the upgrades and improvements they have done have really made it better.

Great place to bring the kids and all your friends and family

Great for reunions if you want to let kids swim, its the best pool in area. Also I love sound of fountain when its running. Also they included new garden like area for bird watching. List goes on!

Kids had a blast playing but no restroom

Well kept park in Mattoon, Illinois. Excellent swimming pool with fountains, looks like a lot of fun for kids! Was always nice to take a drive through the park after we got frozen custard, unfortunately the custard cone is closed now. Still a great place to take the family, especially on a nice summer day!

Love the new additions theyve made

One of the better parks in town. They are really working hard to update anf make it a fun place. They have a pool, fountain, several toys, tennis courts and also a amphitheatre. On Fridays they have the farmers market.

Best park in Mattoon. Plenty of activities and events though out the year. Summer is packed with Friday night movies on the great lawn. Music in the new stage/pavilion. One of the largest single vessel pools around. All new nature designed play ground equipment​ and plenty of walking paths. Tennis courts. New bocce ball courts. Something for everyone here.

Nice community park. Just renovated to include a band shell, and a huge playground for the kids.

The place to be on Fridays. The market rocks!
