My child (3.5 years old) had swim class there today and he had a really hard time. The instructor, Ben, and his supervisor, Tricia, were so kind, patient and reassuring. Ben kept the class moving and made sure my child was still included. Ben continued to try to teach my son when it was my sons turn. Ben remained calm the entire time and would explain what to do even when my son wasn’t having it. He didn’t seem annoyed about the situation and handled it all so well. Tricia sat with my child comforting him through the entire class. She reassured me to stick it out and keep coming. She said it happens sometimes and after a couple weeks he will be fine.We’ve taken other swim classes at other facilities but the staff at other places seemed annoyed or would give up after the first melt down. Thank you Tricia and Ben for being so patient and kind to my child!

We have been members for almost a year and have nothing but positive things to say about this YMCA! The staff is always so friendly, facility is kept clean and the convenient location is great. We will keep our membership for as long as we are in the area.

Disappointed with my experience with this place would be an understatement. I went in to the facility on 7/16/2018 to cancel my membership here because I am an area manger for a retail store, so I personally manage 4 retail stores and with my hours I just dont have the time to go. So I called and was told I needed to fill out a form in person or send an email. I chose to go in on 7/16/2018 and I completed the paperwork to cancel my membership, I was told by the woman at the desk it would be forwarded to the proper personnel and I would have to pay for August, which was fine, I understand policies. Taking her word was were I made my mistake. Recently I had to replace my debit card and I received an e-mail stating I owed a balance for March for the YMCA. When I responded to the e-mail, I was told I never canceled. I then reached out over the phone to get my questions answered, as to why I had been charged for 6 months following my cancellation. I was then told over the phone that many of their members still pay and havent been there in years. Which leads me to believe they are trying to get any money they can, maybe they arent cancelling these peoples memberships when theyve requested cancellation. After reading these reviews, Ive noticed there are several comments mentioning the laziness of the desk staff. I am very busy and I unfortunately didnt notice the amount being taken out monthly, which Im sure happens to other people. Unfortunately now, it is her word against mine, which is why there has been little to no help with my refund for those 6 months. I was offered my March fee waived and a refund for Februarys charge. I find it difficult to believe they cant look on the cameras to see me filing paperwork on 7/16/2018.

A great Y with lots of amenities and very clean/modern. The only problem is Im paying a lot of money to go here and mostly its because I wanted access to the pool and hot tub, which is off limits for 80-90% of the week due to swim teams and classes. Like most people I work a 9-5 and the 8-9:45pm open swim just doesnt work.

Female swim instructor for preschool is rude, belligerent, and a liar. Instead of calmly correcting my child from dipping her goggles in the water, she screamed across the room. She said they would do certain things before the lesson and she didnt (safety checks and goggle checks). Will be taking my children elsewhere. She wasnt like this last year.

Great place great staff love working out there and going to gym. Lynn has been huge help with me working out.

Open until 3 and 4pm on weekends?

It would be 5 stars but I am in here listening to someone clearly lifting more than they can handle and is dropping weight causing extremely loud bangs throughout the facility. Staff should take some pride in this gym and not allow their equipment to be damaged.

I have had a very positive experience at the Y. I enjoy the swim aerobic classes. It definitely makes me feel better. My husband enjoys the workout portion. It give us something healthy to enjoy. Staff is always kind & professional.

Very happy with the classes and the facilities.EDIT: I dropped my rating down because there have been a few times where I have worked really hard to get there on time only to find out AT THE DOOR that the class I was going to has been cancelled. It would be nice to have cancellations on the website or if members could sign up to receive a mass text or email regarding cancellations. Its starting to happen more often and is quite an inconvenience.

This facility is top notch! The child care program is amazing. It allows my grandson a safe, fun and happy environment to enjoy after school and holidays.

They wouldnt allow me to come in with a guest pass. I came in a few days ago and they allowed me in. They said that it was a new rule that had been brought up. As I was in there that day, a kid I knew had just gotten a guest pass as I was talking to the people up front about the situation. Thats unfair and makes no sense. I had walked from school and didnt have a ride home. I asked if I could just get in for this time since it was 30 degrees out and I didnt want to walk home. They said I couldnt . When I went to use the home to call for a ride the lady gave me an attitude. The people up front dont give you very nice service and dont seem to want to help you out. Also their memberships are very expensive, $332 for a young adult.

I really like this ymca, I have found it to be clean, every where you go for the pool area anyways. The people for the pool staff are all extremely nice and I have found that they will all help you if asked.

The older woman who works at reception is terrible. She wouldnt let me go to a class because of a confusion regarding a guest pass. She refused to help me or try to look for the paperwork I fillled out weeks ago. I explained the situation multiple times but she would not budge. She insinuated I hadnt filled out any paperwork. When other employees would come to see if they could help me she would prevent me from talking to them by butting in and telling them a reduced version of our conversation while making me look bad. She gave me dirty stares and was antagonistic. The woman said I needed to wait for my friend to finish teaching her class so she could come out and solve the guest pass/family pass issue. So I stood waiting for 50 minutes. It was a long time before a more helpful employee came to help sort out the issue that didnt let herself be quieted by the old woman. When I explained to the second employee what happened the older woman interrupted our conversation and tried to defend herself from the insinuation she made. I cannot believe the amount of snobbery from this place, particularly from this older woman. This is a ymca, not a country club. I was thinking of coming to pay for some classes a friend of mine instructs here, but this bitter old woman has made this branch permanently lose a customer. After I use the first passes the second employee gave me after having given me a tour of the facilities, Im not setting foot here again.

It is awesome. It has great staff,clean areas, and positive coaches in swimming.

Horrible experience with swim lesssons! Our instructor was rude, negative and talking down to the class. Seemed like he was having a bad day and taking his frustration out on a class of kids. I will never take my kids to this YMCA ever again!
